The British (in this case, Australian) groups of that time idolized the early giants of rock like Jerry Lee because that's what inspired their own music. You tell that excitement here!
The Bee Gees were born in the Isle of Man, it’s in the Irish Sea between Britain and Ireland. They emigrated to Australia with their parents in 1958 and moved back in January of 1967 to pursue a career in music. The rest, they say, is history.
Just subscribed on a prior video on this playlist. Been a fan since childhood, but I was too young to stay up to watch it. Only after my sisters returned home from clubbing could I watch. Wolfman Jack was a favorite. Thank you for this music education as a child.
My comment was exactly the same when I saw this video for the first time, their voices are soft for this kind of songs but anyway they did it quite well, I also missed Mo singing a verse ☹
@@juanita6479 Barrys voice isn`t soft in every song, he often has also a strong voice like in Every minute, every second, wind of change, spicks and specks....!
First thing I thought as well! They each got a turn singing with Chuck Berry, and Mo's voice would have been perfectly suited for this. I wonder if Mo himself didn't want to sing -- it seems crazy that they left him out.
Barry tampoco tenía voz para rockero Jerry los apabullo a los tres, los Bee Gees eran bueno en su estilo ,Robin tenía una voz hermosa especial, pero no para estos temas!
What can I say? Well, this performance is still amazing 50 years later! That's what I say!
I like the Beegees and always will because I’m their biggest fan everyday
I understand that Jerry gets up from the chair, the Bee Gees are contagious with their rhythm
RIP Maurice, Robin and Jerry.
This is the first time I’m seeing this! Just fabulous!🎶🎶👏🏻👏🏻

Grande Jerry Lee Lewis, cuando se paró los hermanos Gibb quedaron apagados, que presencia ese señor, ídolo total ,un genio!
A great and unexpected duet!!
Im so excited you brought all these back! I was only 11 when it went off the air but I remember it! Great live performances!
Rock on!

That guy with the flying V might have the greatest mullet of all time!
💪contender for sure!
Doesn't Mo get a verse??? Robin sounded surprisingly strong since this isn't his usual type of song.

He was the George Harrison of the Bee Gees

3 Bee Gees solos should have been one for each, but Barry took two bites of the apple, leaving none for Mo.
The Wolfman !!!!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️
super les vidéos jamais vu merci 🎼🎼👍👍❤❤🎸🎸🎹🎹
❤❤❤
Mo's jacket is sparkly!
🤛👊🤜
Who’s the cat with the Flying V and crazy ‘do? I think it’s Jay Leno incognito.
I think he looks like Ricky Skaggs------------but seriously doubt it.
Robin's voice was not cut for singing rock and Barry could be a real rocker with his powerhouse vocal. He could have done hard rock if he had tried.
Agree! Would be interesting to see Barry do more rock stuff. His voice sounded amazing here. Plus he looked like a rocker.
@@peteburnsvideos There is a video out there where Barry gets into a little bit of rapping
@@marygriffiths2950Maybe you're referring to Barry's Fine Line from 1984?👍

Robin could sing any genre! And sing it well.
So much going on here but who is the gitarr playing man left to Wayne Cochran?
Barret Strong on top
Jerry Lee Lewis giving up trying to sing the actual melody halfway through his first verse 😅
Barry looks like a young Orlando Bloom. I am so convinced they are biologically related.
❤️❤️❤️
