    Tiff, you gotta add a contour gauge to your tool collection to help with those tough/odd cuts/angles. Deck is looking really nice!

    I know you were all stressed, but the laughter was just evidence of a great team having fun together! 😊 My favorite: 1-2-3 Peanut butter! My husband and a friend used to build decks as a side hustle. They re-built ours one summer. Curious about your opinion: easier to rebuild or build new? Greetings from St. Louis, MO! 🎉

      I haven’t built one from scratch but the the challenge or replacing is having to deal with the some bad wood and unleveled surfaces

    I was so excited to see this new video for the deck project! I’ve been watching your channel for a little while now and I love the content. You guys are doing a great job, makes me wish I could get in there and help. Fingers crossed that it all gets done on time and with enough wood and screws! 🤞🏼👍🏼😀❤

    firstly, congrats on Toni knocking out that floorboard. definitely going to subscribe to the DiY Toni. The patio is really coming along! I wonder if at one time it was painted 2 different colors because I notice during the overhead observation bits it looks like some bits was a terracotta red and rest had been between a cream or off-white color. although cool I hope the owners don't expect you guys to paint it since you only have just a few days left. Also, obstickle course? you would of loved to have been on the show Most extreme Eliminations (aka) MXC sadly the series was pulled off air in America by the creator who broke their contract when another series stole his idea if I heard right. But I think you can still see episodes online I strongly recommend . they did holiday specials like thanksgiving Halloween and christmas, and the fish lady stuck in a tube slide, the Turkey dressed contestant falling face first in mud, hopping vampires trying to dodge realistic looking foam boulders and Santa trying trying not to fall into the water were the best episodes.

    • @diytiff
      @diytiff  6 месяцев назад +2

      That sounds like a good show! Yeah painting it would be a separate project for sure plus we would have to wait for the board to dry from the pressure treated chemicals, but there are the benches all the way around that also have to be done with wood 😬

    it looks like you're flipping your boards from what you measured, not taking in to account the thickness of the blade, or maybe, not putting the blade on the same side of the measurement each time.

    Was anyone else looking at the debris under the deck and wanting them to pick it up? No? Just me then? Ok, sure…😅😂

    • @diytiff

      That’s exactly what my mom said when she watched the video 😂😂😂. There is a pretty big access panel under the deck right where all the stuff is so it could be taken out later… maybe… 😂
