Is NO ONE going to mention the "French is Italy" quote?? I about choked on my tongue! Cheers guys and keep them coming.
Oh he cut a solid 2 minute geography lesson out right there. I'm hoping it will be patreon content cause it was pretty bad, for both of us.
I found a local liquor store by me that hasn't been price gouging. Found the 15yr decanter for $175. Bought it. Haven't opened it yet. Although I am excited to now.
They also have a Jim beam master bottle in the sliding box for $199 that I'm going to buy.
So this episode had it all... Math, Geography, and whiskey!! You guys keep getting better and better!
None of it was right but we had it!
@@BourbonJunkies if it's on the internet it must be true!
“Hold my beer” lol! Good stuff.
If you have had these which was your favorite and least favorite?
Crop Sean out of frame and this is the sexiest video on the internet!
Weird though. I dont get any offensive notes from my 13 year. I actually really enjoy it. Maybe it's just the decanter swaying my judgement
Same here I had it up in Ann Arbor last November and thought it wonderful
They are not professionals and don’t cleanse pallet between so are getting a mix of all and eventually a combination not complimentary
Listen, you're the only person, including ourselves, to label us professionals in this entire comment section lol
NICE! You know I was wanting to see this! That someone was me :-)
Well hopefully it turned out as good and or bad as you hoped it would be.
My local shop has had 15yr available for pours this past week. I've been waiting for you guys to get this video up to know if it's worth my time and money. I guess the answer is YES!
Depending how much a pour is it's probably worth a try.
Unopen 13yr Old Fiitz Decanter for sale, cheap! 😁 Great video as always guys.
Chris Sprague what’s cheap?
@Chris Sprague orly lol
It's over double those prices in the local rip-off store. A lot of money to pay for a bottle that I'd just refill with better juice. They talked about oily nuts then Dan said "taint". hehehe
The 15 is pretty good, but it's still not worth $150
Another good review was thinking about getting some old Fitz. Now I know what to look for. 👍👍👍👍👍
Fifteen!!!
Been looking forward to this review. Hate that they put something so trashy in such a classy bottle. At least they finally figured it out on the 15 yr. Cheers Junkies!
good thing the only one i got is the 15yr, i guess. woot-woot for me.
Rat-must huh? Possible you got a bad bottle of 13? Not saying it’s not overpriced and that everyone has to agree but I loved it and every other bourbon RUclipsr seems to like it.
It's not impossible, we have so many tainted bottles that other people have confirmed are bad. Mostly single barrel products, but that 13 next to the others is awful.
In Northern California, 9 year old is 200. 15 year old is 500. Maybe I can taste some when bars open back up,
Honestly I'd rather just have ECBPb and call it a day
I've been wanting to pick up an Old Fitz because the decanters are so cool now I'm thinking it's just the bottle I'm falling for
Us too. 4 times! The 15 isn't half bad though, and we hear the 14 is good, but we've not had it.
Guess I know now why I got a sample of the Old Fitz 13 from you guys back in September...
Hahahaha we liked it when we opened it
@@BourbonJunkiesFor $130, no thanks. I should send you guys some $17 Rebel Yell 100 and you could put it up against those 9, 11, and 13 year old bottles.
I still have the 9year I haven't opened
Great video!
I agree, the 15 is amazing. I thought you guys didn't like it in the dedicated video
It's an ok pour, not worth the price tag. Best by far off the series though.
Bourbon Junkies ok I guess I don’t agree lol
sounds like the bottle of 13 yr had a bad cork. happened to my first bottle of blanton's. it was like drinking mildew water. BT took it back and tested it and returned my money
We have a couple bottles like that, could be the issue.
I had the same problem with a blantons from 2018. Cork rot and it was awful. They refunded me as well and thankfully I didn’t pay secondary for it
I'll pay $20 for the 13 yr bottle and .01 for the contents!
Might be overpaying for that whiskey.
So I searched #MouthExperience on Insta and there are only 22 posts, none of which are about bourbon. If you’re really trademarking that, I think we need to take over the hashtag. Make it trend, fellas. I’ll get it started by adding it to one of my previous posts. Ironically enough, it’s my Old Fitz 15 post.
I ended up finding a 8 year old 1849 unopened from 1970 in my grandparents basement. Where do you guys find out the value on vintage bourbon? I would like to sell it but would I like to know what it’s worth.
Not a clue actually. We don't get into the sales of whiskey much so I don't even know where to start.
So which one of you is the wood work craftsman that made those display boxes? 😂
The closest I came to one of these was buying one and shipping it to my brother in law. 😒
Bullet, dodged...
So looking like the next 1 out will be 17 years old and $170 msrp, unless its a distillery only edition.
You know if we see it we'll buy it... Can't resist that decanter.
Ryan, let's hope they make it Distillery Only!😁
The only one of that group that I have tried was the 13 and I was not impressed. I'd rather drink Johnny Walker red.
Anyone try the new 16 year?
We haven't yet
Yummmmmmm...... rat dust!
It's an acquired taste, one I'm glad I haven't acquired yet.
The 14...the one that doesn't exist...
I mean it does, I've seen it. It was just gift shop only.
Those damn musty nuts
Why is the G so big?
