it would be nice to have a stan lee “cameo” in the new campus. whether as a statue or as a a painting of him in one of the buildings. he built this amazing universe and it only seems fitting that the most reoccurring character in the franchise have a statue or plaque in his honor.
That, as well as other creators like Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko. As cool as Stan was, he had a lot of help. I'd love to see all three and more recognized!

I totally agree it was just such a shame to not see Downey or Evans there obviously they are focusing on phase 3
It's a little disappointing he wasn't there. I mean you had Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford at the Galaxy's Edge opening. The only logical explanation I can see (outside of the possibility he was asked and refused which I just don't want to believe) is that it would be confusing given Tony is dead. They are sort of playing up the Iron Man character as "the suit" more than anything as a result.

People love Anthony Mackie but when we hear Captain America, only Steve Rogers/Chris Evans comes to mind. He has been and still is the Captain America in the hearts of Marvel fandom. Now Sam is great, I love him, but it's gonna take more than a winged suit and a shield for Anthony Mackie to be accepted as Captain America in our minds. It's got nothing to do with race. How would anybody react if tomorrow Tom Cruise or even Will Smith is made the new Black Panther? There would be outrage.

@@hudsonsheldrake530 no, it didn't get cut. It's still being worked on. It's gonna be located at Avengers HQ. There's also rumors of a Black Panther expansion as part of the huge resort expansion announced a little while ago.

(unless Bob Cheapskate gets his way and they do cut it to save a quick buck) So hopefully it’s still going to be built at some point, after all, it was supposed to be the main e-ticket of the land. Also Disney really should stop this phased opening thing, it worked out HORRIBLY for Galaxy’s Edge
