- Now State bank of India customer can send money abroad to thier relatives or friends by using onlinesbi.com.
In this video i have shown live demo that how it can be done.
There are some basic key points.
1. In sic currencies you can send money i.e. UDS, AUD, SGD, EUR, GBP, YEN
2. MAx day limit is Rs. 10,00,000/-
3. Max limit for year is $250000/-

How much in total charges I have to pay if I send $1000 to my friend in USA.(Hidden charges also)
There is nothing like hidden charges. $10 transactions charge + currency exchange charge which depends on bank to bank example 1$ = 82 Rs in the exchange market but banks charge on that exchange and that’s not fix. It might charge you 83.5₹ per dollar. So 1.5₹ additional money you have to pay. This is just example there no fix amount or percentage.

When I go to SBI net banking I am unable to set up outward remittance. I keep getting the message “your mapped accounts are not eligible to perform International fund transfer for indian resident”. Do SBI have to take any action on their side to enable this? I have reached out to the relevant branch unfortunately they do not know what to do.
