- In this Rik Plays series we're playing Crusader: No Regret on real retro hardware. A fantastic isometric action game from the mid 90s, it puts you in the role of the bright red "Silencer". Blow up almost anything in this gem of a game from Origin, makers of the Ultima series.
Let's play some Crusader: No Regret!

I've been doing annual playthroughs of No Regret and No Remorse since 1996. Have them on the shelf in their original big boxes, purchased 26+ years ago. :) Great games!
Awesome! I finished No Remorse but never got around to doing so with No Regret. I'm taking this as an opportunity to do so!
Cheers Rik, great job. Enjoyed watching this and love your videos, just good nostalgic vibes from everything you do 👍
Awesome game !
Love it! I'll probably get back to this supposed series that so far only has 1 video entry haha. But the game is still great!
Interesting game, like!
Turn on anti-aliasing!
Oh wait this isn't live.
I like the new format! It's like your streams but more focused.
Hah, bluriness begone! But yeah just toying around with this. Another way to get some content out for games I'd like to play. Might give me a push to finish some retro games!
Cool game, Rik! Is there lava on the moon in this game? How are you going to cope without it?
Lava... not sure... acid... yeah... platforms suspended over acid. Pretty sure that's in there somewhere. Surely nothing bad will happen though
I liked Rik this not expected video that you did, it's like the live!!! 🙂🙂🙂
Glad to liked it! It's something I've been wanting to add to my video rotation for a while now. Figured why not give it a try?
@@RiksRandomRetro Yes, it is something that can hold me personal with different way as well because these videos have duration also
(also I need to mention that i changed my name becaouse i am ( TheMrNioZio (Niko) from the past) 🙂
One thing I'd recommend is black bars on the sides without the overlay. It will increase the immersion and lower the burn in on my TV!
True that! I wanted to experiment with some way of identifying what the game is and what I'm playing on. That said I might tinker with it, because it's a fair point!
First! I never played this game when it was new on the shelves. I remember seeing it, and that it came to PSX, but I never got into it. I might have to give it a go now.
Just keep in mind that PC version is waaay superior to PSX version in every way. Go for the GOG version, it's only 6 euros. :)
Agreed, stick with PC if you can. The PSX version is neat but not quite on the same level. But I'm biased hah!
