Looks good. I was surprised at the quality of the Harbor Freight organizers. Much better than typical HF. Add labels to each organizer and you will be set. Thanks for sharing.
@@SpecificLove7 I found that I needed more of the small holders inside the bins than came with them so I 3D printed a bunch. Worked like a charm. I like how 2 little ones fit into the space of a medium one and 2 medium ones fit into the space of one large. That gives a lot of flexibility in the layout.
This is awesome. I kid of wish you would have considered some kind of labeling/box designation in the design so we know what each box is used for/easy/quick access.
Found you last night. I really appreciate the Harbor Freight feedback. As a quality worker, I'm always wondering about what I can do for now, tool wise, and upgrade if I find that value for items I dont use as often. Better than not having them. Anyways I like how your videos are very direct and "shorter" than average
Nice job ... your vids are fun to watch! One issue with the parts organizer that could use some re-engineering: wouldn’t it be nice to pull it out, open the cover, and slide it back in (without needing to take it all the way out and place on the workbench)?
I know this is an older video but I just found it. Anyway, I have a bunch of those and right now they are just stacked on top of each other. And the one I need is always in the middle of the stack forcing me to move a bunch of them just to get 4 screws out of the one in the middle. Anyway, how did you get the labels off of the top? Love your channel and the content you put out!
Your design is the first I have seen that did not use full shelves for each storage bin and instead uses runners under the organizer’s lid (as opposed to under the entire organizer). I am thinking of building my cabinet the same way. How did that work out for you over time? Did you run into any issues with the bins falling off the runners?
I have the exact same table saw. Great idea using a foam noodle on the fence rails when not in use. I have battle wounds from those things. Any idea where I can get the riving knife for this saw??
Why do you have Ridgid and Ryobi ?? I would standardize so I didn't need two different batteries. I went with all Ryobi for the battery tools myself. Corded tools, I have all kinds, but I don't like having many different batteries.
Why did you leave the lids on? It adds three steps to retrieve a part (2 catches and a lid) and another 3 to put the tray away. Six movements extra. They also take height. And they serve no purpose. Would you have a drawer with a lid?
@@SpecificLove7 Only if you leave too big a gap- do your drawers fill up? If the trays would truly get 'filled up', then you need to review your dust collection. Both direct extraction from tools and air filtration is advised- your health is at risk.
Great job I need to make something like that for my fishing tackle boxes be great way to store. Thanks for sharing. God bless
Was thinking the same exact thing. Gonna make mine out of star board
Great design and tips. Thanks for sharing
I've been thinking about doing something like that for a while now. Now I have a guide to build one. Thanks for the great video.

I was a little surprised too. I have noticed that some of their stuff is better than others.

Thanks. I may have a similar project when building my new tiny shop in the fall.
Go for it!
Very nice. Good idea for the 12 HF bins that I have.
Planning a similar unit for my pen turning supplies.
That is a great idea too. I might do the same.
Yes, finally someone who does it mostly correct.
Nice job
GREAT idea thank you for posting.
Nice video. Gonna have to make myself 1 of these. Thx for the great video
TY, very nice. Subscribed.
Very genius, another great video. Thank for sharing with us...
Nice!

Great point! Thanks
Nice Video :)
Great Job!
Thanks

Thanks, I try to keep them informative, but not overdone.
Liked your video and I Subscribed to See more of your new videos. Great 👍 Ideas.
Thanks and welcome

Do you have plans or measurements for your holder. I want to build one but am unsure how to measure.
Nice job!! I'm definitely interested in building one myself now.
Also do you have a video of your very NIFTY pvc push stick? That was cool
I do, but it is an old one
Good design. But now the router's electrical cord (to left of storage rack) is hard to get too... Thank you for the pencil tip and the video.
The back side still has a little room to access it.
Another well thought out project. So where did you put the stuff you removed? That's the fun part. Finding a place for everything. Thanks
I am hoping to solve that in a future video 😀

The labels were definitely a challenge. I peeled them off the best I could and then used Goo gone for the rest.

I still use them often and they work great.
So to not have to use the popsicle sticks, what width should the cuts be for the pieces that hold the cases in place?

It doesn't have one, only a rear piece.
Awsome video but my question is how far apart do you put the runners for the medium and large HF boxes thanks for the inspiration. Be blessed Andrew
The runners are about 2 1/2 inches from center-to-center
@@SpecificLove7 thanks
Great video, what is the thickness of the runners that hold the bins?
3/4" plywood
@@SpecificLove7 yes, I got that, but then you cut it in long pieces to hold the bins. What was that other measurement? 1/2 inch.
I appreciate the video and idea, but someone like me needs the measurements and details on what sizes to cut everything.

I prefer the Ridgid because of the lifetime guarantee, but Ryobi has some tools that Ridgid does not, so I would need both batteries either way.
Hi- where did you get the mat on your desk?
I have it listed on my Amazon Product Suggestions page:
www.amazon.com/shop/influencer-6a30516b
Specific Love Creations -ok. I’m stumped. I searched on the link provided. I am not seeing the mat. Can you provide a more specific link?

I make a lot of dust in my workshop, and if I did not leave the lid on they would quickly get filled up.

Labels?
Would of been quicker and more efficient to use aluminium angle as runners
Thanks for the idea
I agree with you Meo. Problem is aluminum costs more and takes a little more work to build with.
