Sean Payton is escaping some deserved criticism regarding Russ. Coaches are supposed to put their players in a position to succeed. Not take a qb who built a HOF career on scrambling and improvising and try to stuff him into a system that works directly against those strengths, then scapegoat him when it doesn't work.
