@dillionhornsby6990 I don't understand how this would be "unsafe" when literally all your doing is creating an entirely sperate folder away from the data directory of the base game. If you want to get rid of the mods, then just remove the mods folder and your set.
@@kosaki9750 yeah but some mods give you infinite items like sen and spirit emblems to make the game easier. if the modder doesnt do it right and accidentally add more than 1 for key items it'll mess up the game and you're gonna have to start with a new save file to reset it. in that case the save file itself gets corrupted so deleting the mods folder wont restore the game
Thank you so much !! I really didn't know how people from shorts with Sekiro have outfits.. and than I saw you need to have mods. I just started the game and think that you can find outfits during the game xD

Please put a pinned comment or write in the description that this part of the video is false: 3:53 ("only put folder named parts into the mod folder or it will not recognize it as a mod"). I see too many people asking for support after they place every mod files in parts and nothing is working. The parts folder only contains game files for your characters and weapons, this is where you put skin mods but nothing else. Every folder provided by a mod like "param" or "chr" should be placed in the mod folder directly not in parts.
This maybe the easiest tutorial you have done (as you stated) but this tutorial was all over the place. Like, you open the INI file, just read through it, then exit and create a mod folder (wow) paused and closed the video.
Just make a mod folder in the game directory and make another folder inside named parts and when you downloaded your mod and installed, Copy only parts and don't copy all of the folder, only copy the parts that is inside the folder of the mod you downloaded and paste it in the game directory mods parts folder! And It will work 100%!
@@Unihorn666 Yeah so in your steam>steamapps>common>sekiro directory make sure there is only one folder called "mods". Then inside mods folder make sure there is only one folder called "parts". Then you download mods from Nexus (I would avoid using the Vortex Plugin as it puts extra stuff in those folders, just do "Manual Download" for all of them). After you download them, put the entire downloaded mod folder directly into the "parts" folder. You might notice some mods are not placed in folders, some mods have multiple folders within the downloaded mod folder, and some are layered with folders. It doesn't matter because you need to take out every one of the .DCX files out of all the folders and put them directly into the "parts" folder. You can delete the empty folders within the parts folders if you would like, but I would advise you first copy all of the folders and put them into one folder on your desktop in case it all goes wrong, that way you won't have to download them all again. Finally, you launch your game and hope for the best. Sometimes the modders have used the same file names because they are directly tied with objects in the game. For example, you can't have one mod that changes your sword into some new model and then have another that changes it to a whole new sword at the same time. You can't run the Elden Arts mod at the same time as the Resurrection Mod because there is overlap. Just keep trying different mods until you find some that work together. Good Luck!!

Sorry for the late response Typically, when installing a mod, you just drag it into your mods folder. If it's all loose, (Most mods won't be loose) you just have to identify what kind of mod it is and correspond it to the correct folder. Usually, when using mods like LMTSR, you could pair that up with cosmetic mods, but you can't pair it up with other gameplay changing mods unless you plan on replacing a few of the files, which then the game may or may not bug out. If you plan on using 1 set of every type of mod (Sound, Cosmetic, Visual, and Gameplay) you should be fine so long as it doesn't overlap with each other (In most cases it won't)
i downloaded the infinite and enhanced consumables but when i entered the game i couldnt open the menu (esc when u enter game) and i was invisible only my swords were visible also i couldnt move
@XxgoodbudsxX So I made an error in the video. The parts folder I mentioned is only meant for appearance mods for wolf. The folder you get after installing a mod is what you place in the mods folder. If it only comes with loose files, then your going to have to identify what type of mod it is, and then create a folder with the corresponding name. For example, The mod, "LMSTR" is a gameplay changing mod that uses the Param folder. If the LMSTR mod comes with no folder, then you'd have to create a Param folder and put the loose files in it. LMSTR comes with all the required folders, but I used that as an example.
Just make a mod folder in the game directory and make another folder inside named parts and when you downloaded your mod and installed, Copy only parts and don't copy all of the folder, only copy the parts that is inside the folder of the mod you downloaded and paste it in the game directory mods parts folder! Depending on how you downloaded it. For steam, just go to your sekiro go on your library, right click sekiro, go to properties, local files, explore. For cracked, it's where you unzipped your game.
How do I run my game on 60fps please help i have the same version and there's no application in Nexus Mod to uncap the fps and mine runs at only 48fps and i hate it
Guess I’m the only person for who it doesn’t work, literally did everything the same, downloaded the engine, made a mods and parts folder, downloaded a mod and put in the parts folder, not working
Hey, sorry to hear that!!! Are you sure your Sekiro game version is 1.06? This is what the engine was built for, and could you double check the mods requirments? Some mods require other mods to work!!!!!
something u can try is making a seperate parts folder in ur desktop, put the mod parts in that parts folder and copy past it into the parts folder in the sekiro directory, that worked for me.
brodie I download the steam version and a cracked one the mod engine just dont work anymore from the looks I think I watched this video a unhealthy amount of times and cant get a single mod to work online or offline smh
Right. Depending on the mod, the parts folder won't work. The parts folder Is meant for cosmetics only. If that hasn't solved your issue, Uninstall sekiro, re-download, and follow the video again. Remember, thus video is for cosmetics only, nothing that changes gameplay goes into the parts folder.
that means either the mod creator didn't create a parts folder, so then you'd just have to manually make it, or the mod you're attempting to download isn't actually a clothing mod, which in that case, probably has another folder names. If that is the case, just dump those folders into the mods folder you created.

Hey, sorry for the confusion!!!! If you right click sekiro from your desktop, then head to "Open file location" you should be lead straight to the folder. There you can add the mods folder and other stuff you may want.
Just make a mod folder in the game directory and make another folder inside named parts and when you downloaded your mod and installed, Copy only parts and don't copy all of the folder, only copy the parts that is inside the folder

@@kosaki9750Alright, I did what you told me, but without mods and only the ModEngine and my game still crashed right after I launched it.
@@frenchiesr6 r u positive you have the right game version or your not using the wrong mod engine?
how do I install reshade mods I can't find a single videos on youtube
How did you already have sekiro as a file? For me I can’t find the folder for sekiro
Depending on how you downloaded it. For steam, just go to your sekiro go on your library, right click sekiro, go to properties, local files, explore. For cracked, it's where you unzipped your game.
Help, IM getting fatal eror When i want to start the game
How do I run my game on 60fps please help i have the same version and there's no application in Nexus Mod to uncap the fps and mine runs at only 48fps and i hate it
Hey, could you tell me the specs you are running the game with?
@@kosaki9750 i5 10500h RTX 3060 16GB ram and screen is 144hz
Does it work if my sekiro folder is from the steamapps on my local disk?
Guess I’m the only person for who it doesn’t work, literally did everything the same, downloaded the engine, made a mods and parts folder, downloaded a mod and put in the parts folder, not working
Hey, sorry to hear that!!! Are you sure your Sekiro game version is 1.06? This is what the engine was built for, and could you double check the mods requirments? Some mods require other mods to work!!!!!
something u can try is making a seperate parts folder in ur desktop, put the mod parts in that parts folder and copy past it into the parts folder in the sekiro directory, that worked for me.
@@rawewylin8229 omg that actually works lol thx!
i dont have the part file i dont know why please someone help
can i install more than one mod like if i have sekiro resurection and another one is it possible?
Modding never works for me I can’t figure out why :(
did you figure it out? It's not working for me either
@@RyanShappa unfortunately no
How do you mod Sekiro with 100% deflect?
where do you put shaders
because i cant do it there is nothing named parts
I did the same thing but it is not working
Is it because I'm using GOTY edition?
brodie I download the steam version and a cracked one the mod engine just dont work anymore from the looks I think I watched this video a unhealthy amount of times and cant get a single mod to work online or offline smh
Think Ive watched every video about modding this game to make sure I wasnt missing anything
@@kosaki9750 i swear I tried everything 😭
and what if the mods folder im tryna install doesnt have a parts folder in it
that means either the mod creator didn't create a parts folder, so then you'd just have to manually make it, or the mod you're attempting to download isn't actually a clothing mod, which in that case, probably has another folder names. If that is the case, just dump those folders into the mods folder you created.
@@kosaki9750 ye it was just named something else, wasn't really a problem, I just commented before really trying first :)
where did you get your cracked sekiro from? im getting an 0xc0000005 error whenever i have the dinput dll in the directory
Hi, I'm using a mod that uses the folder names "param" and "gameparam" instead of "parts" and I am very confused, also the mod files are .DCX and .BAK instead of .DLL
How can I use this mod??
wondering the same thing, all my files are .DCX
@@bekirsalc7324 Found out that u just have to put the param folder containing the gameparam folder in the mods folder u created and then it works :))) it doesn’t care that it’s .DCX
Thanks man u are so chiilll
☻
Also I don't know what to do with
; The directory from which to load a mod.
modOverrideDirectory=
Should I leave the " or what should I do?
Try to be precise pls
Hey, sorry for the confusion!!!!
If you right click sekiro from your desktop, then head to "Open file location" you should be lead straight to the folder. There you can add the mods folder and other stuff you may want.
Just make a mod folder in the game directory and make another folder inside named parts and when you downloaded your mod and installed, Copy only parts and don't copy all of the folder, only copy the parts that is inside the folder
Cus of this now everything on my laptop lags and i did exactly like in the video
Explain to me how dragging a file and creating a folder lagged your laptop. Atp it's you not me lmfao
@@kosaki9750 i don't make u responsible don t worry, i solved the problem i was thinking maybe the mod files got corrupted from the site
And now the menu wont show up :(
Basically i cant start the game
What are your specs? did you delete the UI files? You may need to reinstall the game if that happens
@@kosaki9750 my config files was corrupted...

Hey so I been trying to mod Sekiro with some mods, but sometimes it doesn’t come out like a file so it’s idk if this is intended or do I have to pay the premium version
what are the files called?

Nah man u aint wrong just because u downloaded crack one...who in there right mind would buy the game which they have already purchased just so they can play with some mods
right, thats what im saying. Im pretty sure it aint illegal so long as you have a legit copy of the game, no matter where you bought it.
Bro it didn't work for me 😭😢😭😢
is there any other site cause nexus needs a paid membership?
i have a cracked 1.05 version game from fitgirl
you dont need a paid membership to download mods from nexus, all you need is an account.
murders on my mind
didnt work sadly, the mod i installed didnt even have a "parts" file, only a "mods" one that contained param and game param or whatever tf that was
Im having the same problem have you found a solution?
@@whiteman7958 yeah the parts folder is actually called param so you don't need to create a "parts" folder, it already exists as "param"
For me it shows param instead of parts so could u help me pls
Just drag the param folder into the mods folder
where do i find the parts folder?
you make it
