    I have the opposite problem.. I buy rings that are ok then they become so tight and drive me crazy 🤪

    Same thing happened to me. First time at Tiffany’s and now I want to return the ring because its big and falling like your ring. But I’m actually changing the ring for another style. For this T ring like you have. Looks so pretty! I hope I won’t run into issues.

    I think your T True ring fits perfectly. I personally always prefer a little bit movement instead of being too snug, if it’s too tight it cuts off the blood circulation, and not good for the skin. Plus our bones can possibly get bigger over time. So I guess just leave it as it is, it looks just perfect on you now :)

      Thank you Raven😊I don’t really have much of a choice in the matter but I worked it out and moved it to my index finger and it fits fine ❤️

    Yes I had this issue with Cartier. I got engaged in France and it didn’t fit so I tried to exchange in Mayfair London and they couldn’t do anything for me but they were amazing. The woman at carrier really wanted to help but couldn’t so I ended up back at Cartier on rodeo drive and the customer service was horrible and they tried charging me after saying if it doesn’t fit they would resize for free. The associate took me upstairs to the resizing department and they argued in front of me about the resizing. In the end I got it cut for free but I most def would never buy again from Cartier. For me Tiffany have been amazing through and through.

      Sorry for your experience I’ve had multiple items resized at Cartier and the experience has always been seamless but I’ve always had the resizing done at the same store I bought the items so not sure if I wound run into issues if I tried to return/exchange/resize internationally.
      Best to always clarify these details when you purchase the items to avoid hassles later on.
      Thank you for watching 😊

    Your ring looks perfect and absolutely beautiful on you. Personally, I like the fit you showed which move through finger easily with a slight stop at the joint. I do not like the ring which won't move and is too stressful for me.

    Robert Coin has beautiful Cuff ring, look to the symphony collection. Much more affordable . I don't truly consider jewelry as investment anymore ...(still keeping a certain value) but most important is to enjoy. After all this is just buying the brand name because the Gold craftsmanship/value is the same as getting a custom piece from a unknown jeweler .

    Have you tried stacking other rings with the ring on your middle finger? Sometimes you need slightly bigger rings when you’re stacking x

      I have tried stacking but my fingers are pretty skinny so even when stacking I need a smaller size.

    That’s why it’s a must to try ring size in shop for best fittings & not buying online. Since returning or exchanging can be a hassle. If I ever buy more jewelries with brand name, I won’t even consider selling them away.
    I went to ask the resale price for my white gold atlas ring (with some diamonds on the “XII” logo kind) from a random gold shop in Singapore, they gave me ridiculous price at $300 SGD. I walked away definitely. I was so upset with the pricing as it cost me more than S$3k.. & funny thing pawn or second hand luxury goods shop tends to buy in things at very low price & sold them overpriced.

  • @shawndavis7878

    That’s a ridiculous return policy! Especially if you have your receipt and the ring is in good condition l mean two days is not a lot of time. Tiffany/SA should have probably told you about their return policy at the time you purchased the ring! You could purchase a smaller stacking ring to go with your Tiffany ring, that would help it not to move to much on your finger, so that you can wear it on the finger you like it on. Of course that means spending more money that you hadn’t intended on spending!🤔

    • @brokebrowngal590
      @brokebrowngal590  3 года назад

      Exactly now I have to buy another ring when I could have been done already 😳 That really is a very strange policy and I’ll remember to ask at other brands if they have the same return/exchange policy just to be careful in the future.

    what a silly policy - especially in the age of global economy! may i ask how you are enjoying wearing the Love bangle with the VCA? i've now purchased the VCA bangle (excitedly awaiting delivery) but i'm wondering how you find them together - i plan to wear mine with my Love and JUC. thank so much!

      I chose to stack mine with the love bracelet because I like the contrast between the sizes as well as visual appeal of the smooth, mirror finish of the love against the VCA. Hope you enjoy your VCA 🥳

    All my jewelry are impulse purchases. :( lol and i had the same experience - heart fluttering - when I made my first Tiffany purchase. The ring looks so beautiful. I havent checked, but did you do a review of your Chaumet ring? I'm so curious about that brand but I don't know if there's a Chaumet in the States. Lol

    Personal opinión, I think it is very unprofessional for that brand to even have that policy, considering that it is a globalized brand. They could have easily exchanged it to a more comfortable size for you, especially since they should have warned you at the time of purchase that if you took it out of the country it couldn’t be exchanged. I just think it is a large sum of money 💰 for them not to have made an exception or have any kind of alternate option. I too won’t buy from them ever, thank you for giving us the heads up

      Thank you Miriam 🥰I agree given that it’s an international brand the customer service was disappointing. It may not have been a big amount for them but for me it was a significant sum 💸. Oh well lesson learned the hard way 🙁 Hopefully my experience will keep others from making the same costly mistake.

      @@brokebrowngal590 regardless of the sum, jewelry is considered a luxury, many people take a lot of time to be able to save set amount, for a piece they will wear everyday, that they have thought of purchasing and considered this item for a long time. Jewelry very often represents a sentimental value or is bought for a significant reason or event, it was inconsiderate, disrespectful, unprofessional and upsetting to not have accommodated your need or request, special since you had just bought it a day or two before. Very disappointing, I can assure you they lost customers with this review, and respect! You represent us, they can’t accommodate you, they can’t accommodate us! Your were respectful, I would have caused a scene, and forced them to give me what I deserved.

      Very true couldn’t agree with you more Miriam. Now whenever I put on the ring and it slides around I get a prick of remorse 😢
      Also I’m a very non confrontational person so I just gave up and left it. Plus honestly the employees are bound by the company’s rules so not sure if they could have done anything even if they wanted to. They could have made an exception but I guess it wasn’t a substantial purchase to them to bother with 🤷🏻‍♀️
      Thank you for taking the time to comment appreciate your support 🥰

    I feel your pain 😅 I have the exact same ring and It happened to me too! Spent half of hour at Tiffany's just to get home at realize my new ring actually feels too loose. Gladly that was a US store and they letted me exchange it after a few days for a smaller size.
    If I was in your situation though I would just play around with the ring trying to fit it on other fingers. If you"re right handed, your right fingers supposed to be a bit thicker that left ones. Also hands tend to swell during hot season so the ring that feels okay now might get too tight during summer and vice versa.

      It’s soo frustrating isn’t it 😖I’ve had the same with some of my other rings when I didn’t know my size. Luckily I was in the same country and I was able to exchange them.
      I am wearing the Tiffany one in a different finger not enjoying it as much because I primarily bought it to complete my stack but oh well nothing much I can do about it now 😕
      Thank you for watching 😊

    You know to have these issues with your hands and finger size, you tried on the ring for sizing, and you are blaming them because you bought the wrong size? If you have rings that fit correctly the salea person could have out it on a US sizer to check the correct US size for you to purchase. You wore it on your hand, why would they want it to be returned? They can't resell it as new if you've worn it.

    • @brokebrowngal590

      Hi Shaine,
      Tiffany has a 30 day day return/exchange policy if the item has all accompanying paperwork and is in a saleable condition. I had confirmed with the sales associate if the ring could be exchanged due to sizing concerns which I was assured it would. What I assumed was that their exchange policy was applicable for international or overseas purchases from their stores which it turns out wasn’t the case.
      As far as my wearing the ring is a concern for you, almost all merchandised returned to stores has been worn/tried on and the stores don’t have any problems with processing returns or exchanges provided the receipts and tags are still attached.

      @@brokebrowngal590 Ive been to Tiffany's flagship many times. Everything new is new, brand new. You don't buy the floor model. I wouldn't want your worn ring for that price. How would you know that all returns are worn? Have you been to every Tiffany's and asked each location if their returns are new or worn? That is an assumption you are making. I just dont think you should blame a company when you didn't bother finding out the specifics and just assumed. If you knew you had an issue finding the correct size even though you tried it on in person, maybe you should have waited and gone back to the store when you got to your home country and figured out what size you needed after trying it on again. I mean you said you knew your fingers had this issue so it's not like it was a surprise. And per your response, how were the tags attached? You put it on to wear it. You are telling me you left the tag on? Even wearing a ring for a few hours can leave thin scratches on it. You said you were assured it could be returned but she probably "assumed" you meant in the same country just like you "assumed" it meant worldwide. Sorry this is no one's fault but your own. Leaving out that you would need to return it in a totally different country is a huge detail to leave out. You took the time to ask about returns, this would have been my first question if I was in a foreign country.

    • @alanawolf1556
      @alanawolf1556 Год назад

      @@shinaegarceau3950it sounds as if you’re arguing that no returns should ever happen at Tiffany, despite their own 30 day return policy. By your reasoning, even if she had still been in Spain, she was not entitled to return it. Interesting idea, if illogical, and smacking more than a little of victim blaming. That’s never a good look.

    • @shinaegarceau3950
      @shinaegarceau3950 Год назад

      @@alanawolf1556 ok, victim blaming?!?! I almost started laughing at that. She's not a "victim". She chose the wrong size. That does not make her a victim and is am insult to all actual victims. And a lot of luxury designers do not allow you to return if the item has any signs of wear. I have many 18k pieces, they all have micro scratches on day one. It doesn't matter where you buy it from, 18k is soft and that's just the composition of the metal. Her ring inevitably would have signs of her wearing it, even if the design is "busy" and helps to hide it. Stop acting like you know the luxury space when you obviously don't, we don't want someone else's worn leftovers. They only return things they can resell to other people. So no, I don't think returns of worn items should ever be accepted.
