15:39 "Sometimes he knocks twice rather than three times as a faint to make you more anxious." Bonnie will knock twice on two seperate occasions before he knocks the door three times, opening it. You can tell when bonnie is about to open the door if you just count how many times he's done it, it's not a faint.
I remember when there was this irrational rumor that Nikson would somehow be able to sue Scott if Sister Location was as free roam as the player base believed it was going to be, no idea why he’d ever do that but then again Smike probably said it 😭
I think the story is also what made most FNaF fans love this game. The reason is how different it is! Most FNaF games (fanmade or official) are centered around vengeful spirits (i.e. humans who have been wronged when they were alive and now refuse to rest in peace until their thirst for revenge is quenched). In this game, the antagonists are not vengeful spirits but instead, they're dark spirits a.k.a demons/devils (i.e. malevolent entities either from Hell or some equivalent of it in other mythologies). If I'm not mistaken, I found some kind of newspaper or something talking about ancient Egyptian demons or something in the game, I don't remember. It's been a long time since I played the game, after all. That makes things WAY scarier because vengeful spirits used to be human so (in a way) we can kinda sympathize with them (especially, if those vengeful spirits are children) and even reason with them. But with demons, it's a WHOLE other story. They're naturally cruel/sadistic (and manipulative) and want to hurt you or possess you to gain access to humanity. So when the player realizes this, they realize that the stakes are higher than they usually are in a FNaF game. This is further proven by how aggressive the "animatronics" (devils) in the game are compared to normal FNaF fanmade/official games. The way they move, the sounds their bodies make, what they actually do to the player if he/she/they gets caught, their demonic "screams" (or screeches) and the way they toy with/play around with the protagonist (Scott Cawthon). I also find the game's story to be even more horrifying than normal FNaF fanmade/official games because Scott is a Christian man. In the game's ending, we see that the demons won and have killed Scott. One of them decided to mimic Scott's appearance and voice and approached his family before killing them. So that means, Scott's faith in God (in the game's universe) unfortunately was still not enough to save him and his family. Another thing I found horrifying about the game is that when the demons physically manifested, they took on the forms of distorted and corrupted versions of Scott's creations (the fictional animatronic characters of FNaF 1). They call themselves the "Ignited Animatronics" which can be a reference to them originating from Hell because of the word "ignited". "Ignited" can possibly refer to the demons' origin in the Lake of Fire (in Hell), being constantly burned by God's angels. This would really explain why all the Ignited Animatronics' bodies look "burned" and "charred". Honestly, the game felt like the lovechild of Faith: The Unholy Trinity and FNaF 4.
I always assumed the office recordings were just Scott actually talking to himself rather than recordings. And that was why he only talks when he sees an animatronic
Some more info/facts about TJoC: - Nikson is hoping to release a demo of the Ignited Collection's Office level by the end of the year - Nikson said recently that the first TJoC demo will not be getting a remake anymore - The reason Scott's son died the night he returned to the house, was because Golden Freddy came back too, to finish what they started. This is why the final collectable newspaper is an image of Ignited G. Freddy, with the words "COME BACK TO US NICK" written on it.
Lol, ok? So basically, it's a "collection" without actually being a collection because I'm pretty sure it the Fnaf 3-inspired halloween game was excluded and TJOC:R and TJOC:Story Mode are meant to be a singular game anyways, dev just never bothered putting them into a singular package.
@@lpfan4491 Nikson said he's not bringing the Halloween Edition back because it isn't canon to the TJoC storyline, and the Classic mode won't come back because he said it would just be boring. TJoC: Reborn was meant to have the freeroam and story mode I think, but Reborn never made it out of beta because it was entirely replaced with Story Mode. On the bright side, he's not planning on charging more than $20 for the full collection.
@@IgnitedSteel6 I genuinely cannot see it for anything but wishy-washing and talk for better publicity in the scene. All 4 levels are there with no direct evidence of anything more being planned. Next big feature that was missing was story mode, story mode released.

I had issues getting story mode to work and not tutorials would really help me. Last ditch attempt, messaged Nickson and the next day, he reached back out over Twitter with a bug fix and when I tanked him and even gave my gameplay experience, he replied that he acknowledged my statement and it hit me in the feels that a game dev is willing to respond to things that their fans ask about.
I would like to clarify that there is a fairly high chance not all objects will spawn when playing reborn except for chica, so if you can't find that one last object you need, it might just not have spawned.
One cool thing about the Ignited Collection I saw is that Nikson is possibly going to have the animatronics change visually as the game progresses. Seeing as the ignited animatronics are straight up demons just using the animatronics as an illusion, apparently they’ll begin looking less robotic and more fleshy as they start losing their forms, like Michael said they did when merging into Creation in Story Mode.
15:28 I was wearing headphones while I was sorta passively watching this video, and those knocks sounded so goddamn real I legitimately took a second to question if I was home alone or not.
My first memory with this game was the original markiplier vid on reborn, and hearing those loud ass footsteps sprinting down the hall of the empty house towards Mark before he could even see Freddy was absolutely terrifying.
TJoC: Story Mode is actually getting a remaster in Unreal Engine 5, whereas the original is in Unreal Engine 4. I have watched people play the demo and it is(in my opinion) leagues better and scarier. The first memory, which is all that is out right now, scared me more than the fourth and fifth memories of the original combined. Not sure if it is by Nikson as well or if it is just a remaster by a fan though.
Nikson might be 2 things A.) Nikson is really good at making the game while blindfolded to not scare himself because he is cooking something real scary. Or B.)He has balls of steels 🗿
The Joy of Creation has to be my favorite fan game ever since I watched Markiplier play it. The unique mechanics and care put into the animatronics themselves is incredible, and it's my favorite Markiplier series to watcj
@cooldog7763 The pimps (along with eddsworld) are the reason I decided to get into animation and game development. The scene from in the weekend where foxy and the puppet (that looks like Markiplier) are dancing to a "smoke weed" remix of the game of thrones theme is forever burned into my brain.
I love these games because they aren't afraid to be scary or mature. The death animations are brutal in every way and that's how it should be. The atmosphere and ambiance is also impeccable.
I got scared twice, the first one because it was totally unexpected I was coding something in Phyton, and the second one because I didn't pay attention to the story and felt like my hearth leaving my chest
7:30 Another difference from Freddy you forgot to mention, is that if you shine your flashlight around him, he'll instantly notice you even if he doesn't see you Reason being that Freddy's light is white so even if he sees your light he'll just think it's his', whilst Bonnie has a red light so when he sees your white light he makes that connection and starts to charge at you instantly
If you want to review a somewhat less known but very mechanically satisfying FNaF fangame, then Fazbear Entertainment: Storage is one of my personal favorites. Also it has no reason to have music as good as it does. Also the Fallen actually have names as well as letter designations - Bonnie's (Endo R, not B) is named Blue, Chica's (Endo C) is named Mouth, Freddy's (the real Endo B) is named Angel, and Foxy's (Endo F) is named Red. Fairly simple based on related attributes, but cool nonetheless.
TJOC will always be memorable for the withered Bonnie jumpscare alone. Out of all the horrifying ways an animatronic could kill you, the dude just went with blunt force trauma.
Now that the Demo has been released and it already looks and is received as good as it is; it's fair to say Nikson is absolutely cooking an all you can eat buffet with the new game
Till this day I think the basement section is one of the scariest horror game experiences ever made. I'm decent with jumpscares but the way it makes you anticipate them and hold you in a jumpscare-chokehold plus the loud and quick charge at the player is a perfect recipe for a painful sensory overload
I've heard good things about TJOC but I never actually knew what it was about, so listening to you go over it was great. What a wild game, those twists and turns are insane and disturbing and tragic. My question is just... What was Michael's deal? The way you put it in the earlier nights made it seem like he was apologetic, and he even helps the family protect themselves, but then he later kills Scott and takes over his life. It brings up a lot of questions as to what these beings really are, what their motives are, etc etc. It's neat. I don't have much stomach for horror these days, but I'm glad I decided to watch this.
But in the video it was mentioned that in a newspaper, there was an evil entity known as a twin? Like a doppleganger of some sorts? So maybe Michael accidentally released that entity and took his identity I guess?
isn't it because like...maybe he was rotting since I'm pretty sure it's Michael after fnaf 6 and then he killed Scott so he can have a new body and a new life? I rlly don't know tbf
Funny thing is that I watched this video when it came out and completly forgot about the beta gameplay part at the end, but now the real demo is out and the game is actually coming!
1:28 No... i eat every possible trace of food, or what is considered food in my pantry. EVERYTHING.. im eating a pie right now :) and preparing to stuff my face with water later. :)

This video and your "One Night At Flumpty's" video made me realize that the Fanverse Initiative is still happening. I thought the entire thing was cancelled, since I hadn't heard anything about any of the games. So, thanks for that. Great videos, by the way.
nikson did what i always wanted to see in fnaf games by making a game with ACTUALLY TERRIFYING animatronics and gameplay, with an awesome design and decent graphics, especially compared to other fnaf fan games
imo TJOC is a great fan-game series. High quality, voice acted, creative gameplay, the so-thought "great/best way of turning FNAF 3D". I generally like it. If I can ask for something, would you be able to make a shorter video about A Bite at Freddy's? It's a cool fan-game with very unique designs for the animatronics and really cool gameplay mechanics.
i went from your old flumpty's video to this one and was smacked in the face by the increase in quality of everything, especially the audio given that I'm an audiophile. also the png avatar you have looks rly cool :)
A dynamic I love in fiction is taking reality, and using magic/supernatural elements to layer a game-y aspect on top, making gameplay mechanics part of the game's setting. The Joy of Creation does this wonderfully, using whatever screens are available in the house to "produce a camera system," as Michael put it, and the way the entities are required to play by the rules of the game they're emulating, even though it's a hindrance to their goal. Call of Duty's Zombies mode does something similar (to an almost extreme degree) and I love that too. It's a fun and underutilized dynamic.

Though, It's reborn counter part will be interesting with a full on remake.
i stand by that i story mode did the best job at conveying the sheer weight these animatronics would have, which honestly added so much to horror aspect of it
While this is a good vid there are some things you got wrong. for the bedroom bonnie knocks incrementally 1 then 2 then 3 on the third he enters no “faints“.the living room chica does not auto attack if your on the tv to long, if your on the tv for 10 sec you will hear growling from your left or right when you stand up you need to turn away from the growling or be jumpscared. Doesn't matter as much but Basement one of the back fallen doesn't work like weeping angel instead will kill you if you get to close. Thats it great video
The thing with fan games is that there is no "best" fan game, they all cater to specific parts of an audience with their different approaches, it's part of what makes them so damn special :) I adore Mechanism myself :b
Not gonna lie I feel like Ignited Springtrap should make a return, look at this style damn, sure he would be scary just for that. (Also I think Burntrap looks a LITTLE TOO much of Ignited Springtrap lol)
given dark deception has been on a pretty long wait for its supposed "final chapter" i guess i now know at least one reason its been that way. suppose its to be expected at least. devs move on from one project to the next so easily these days. hopefully the game hes now on is good at least, cause i cant imagine it being terrible after such things being a good look to his reputation... no pressure or anything if you read this mr. developer.

Howdya know the mom died?
@@swanlisztthere are bunch of newspapers talking about what happens after the attic ending
I always assumed the office recordings were just Scott actually talking to himself rather than recordings. And that was why he only talks when he sees an animatronic
Some more info/facts about TJoC:
- Nikson is hoping to release a demo of the Ignited Collection's Office level by the end of the year
- Nikson said recently that the first TJoC demo will not be getting a remake anymore
- The reason Scott's son died the night he returned to the house, was because Golden Freddy came back too, to finish what they started.
Thats great that this will be propobly only 20 dolars. He deserved to get money from this cuz damn he made a great game. And the remake will be only better
demo is out and is nothing short of amazing
Holy shit Nikson made Dark Deception??? I listen to the music from those games all the time. I can't believe I didn't know/realise I've been following Nikson for so long.
Yeah, same! I was like "are you serious?!?!" I love so much all of his work, even his first fnaf fan games because it was one of the first fan games that I watch on RUclips and it bring back memories! I really hope that the chapter 5 of Dark Deception, the final chapter apparently will be release soon, maybe on 2024 from what I saw on the internet! 🤞🏻😍❤️
The mastermind behind the game is Vince Livings, but yeah, Nikson also works on them majorly.
Now that I'm hearing it, I kind of see it. The way the camera moves in both games is similar (especially during jumpscares)
Nikson works on he code and lighting
Vince for story and direction
Pen for the art and visual style
Dan for the music
Ignited Bonnie pummeling the player’s face with his fist upon jumpscaring you is so funny to me for some reason

There's also an arcade machine that has Ignited Freddy on it.
I would like to clarify that there is a fairly high chance not all objects will spawn when playing reborn except for chica, so if you can't find that one last object you need, it might just not have spawned.
i have lots of respect for any fangame creator but i hate that so much lol
Nikson performing a little bit of trolling.
22:47 I know this is supposed to be you shining a light in Freddy’s eyes, but to me it looks Freddy getting smacked in the face with the flashlight.
I’m pretty sure he was also looking out a window and he said am I stalking someone? Just before Freddy killed him
TJoC: Story Mode is actually getting a remaster in Unreal Engine 5, whereas the original is in Unreal Engine 4. I have watched people play the demo and it is(in my opinion) leagues better and scarier. The first memory, which is all that is out right now, scared me more than the fourth and fifth memories of the original combined. Not sure if it is by Nikson as well or if it is just a remaster by a fan though.
the first level in TJoC ic is office, if u mean the bedroom remaster then it's by a fan
Nikson might be 2 things
A.) Nikson is really good at making the game while blindfolded to not scare himself because he is cooking something real scary.
Or
B.)He has balls of steels 🗿
Man, 4 animatronics bullying a toddler is too real
The Joy of Creation has to be my favorite fan game ever since I watched Markiplier play it. The unique mechanics and care put into the animatronics themselves is incredible, and it's my favorite Markiplier series to watcj
Nikson is a legend of the FNAF community. I’m sure only few remember his features in Hitlerspimp’s videos. I’m happy to hear he’s still got it.
Hitlerspimp, holy shit now there's a name I haven't heard in a while. I was wondering why Nikson's name sounded familiar.
@@alsocharles yeah man the FNAF in the weekend videos defined the early parts of highschool for me
@cooldog7763 The pimps (along with eddsworld) are the reason I decided to get into animation and game development.
The scene from in the weekend where foxy and the puppet (that looks like Markiplier) are dancing to a "smoke weed" remix of the game of thrones theme is forever burned into my brain.
The wait is finally over, let's go!!
joy of creation fans when the hatred of destruction fans walk in
I love these games because they aren't afraid to be scary or mature. The death animations are brutal in every way and that's how it should be. The atmosphere and ambiance is also impeccable.
15:28 holy that sounds incredibly realistic thought that was an actual knock
I got scared twice, the first one because it was totally unexpected I was coding something in Phyton, and the second one because I didn't pay attention to the story and felt like my hearth leaving my chest
I thought someone was knocking on my window (I live on a 3rd floor)
@@eduardojoseph1235 I was putting torches in Minecraft lol
bro for real though
7:30 Another difference from Freddy you forgot to mention, is that if you shine your flashlight around him, he'll instantly notice you even if he doesn't see you
Reason being that Freddy's light is white so even if he sees your light he'll just think it's his', whilst Bonnie has a red light so when he sees your white light he makes that connection and starts to charge at you instantly
A yes, The Joy Of Creation, the FNaF fangame of all time
@@ACertainSamone Yes, the best of all time.
TJOC will always be memorable for the withered Bonnie jumpscare alone. Out of all the horrifying ways an animatronic could kill you, the dude just went with blunt force trauma.
He's only got an arm. There aren't really many other ways for him to do the job.
The joy of creation redemption arc goes crazy
Now that the Demo has been released and it already looks and is received as good as it is; it's fair to say Nikson is absolutely cooking an all you can eat buffet with the new game
Till this day I think the basement section is one of the scariest horror game experiences ever made. I'm decent with jumpscares but the way it makes you anticipate them and hold you in a jumpscare-chokehold plus the loud and quick charge at the player is a perfect recipe for a painful sensory overload
I am more terrified if any unexpected jumoscares aren't edited out of the video than the game itself.
that’s still the game but ok
@@minaxa I'm having a brain aneurysm
What are you saying?
A carrot wrote this comment.
Pretty sure he wanted Scott dead in particular.
isn't it because like...maybe he was rotting since I'm pretty sure it's Michael after fnaf 6 and then he killed Scott so he can have a new body and a new life? I rlly don't know tbf
That's called a complex character and mysteries

This game has better story, gameplay, scariness and graphic than most games at the time. We should appreciate that
The fact that Nixxon went from creating a fnaf fan game to his own game with Dark Deception really tells how far he's gotten
35:07 WAIT, DARK DECEPTION WAS BADE BY THE SAME PERSON WHO CREATED TJOC!?
This video and your "One Night At Flumpty's" video made me realize that the Fanverse Initiative is still happening. I thought the entire thing was cancelled, since I hadn't heard anything about any of the games. So, thanks for that. Great videos, by the way.
I actually have never seen Freddy’s jumpscare in Night 3. I honestly thought he was harmless, cuz I never saw anyone really struggling with that night
nikson did what i always wanted to see in fnaf games by making a game with ACTUALLY TERRIFYING animatronics and gameplay, with an awesome design and decent graphics, especially compared to other fnaf fan games
imo TJOC is a great fan-game series.

I wouldn't say It's "the best FNAF fangame" but It's definitly a very good one

Well the classic TJOC remake was scrapped but you probably didn't see that information.

Though, It's reborn counter part will be interesting with a full on remake.
The animatronics aren’t actual robots, they are demons impersonating them

Glad to see this video was able to release!
