I don't know what will happen to RedBull, Max Verstappen or Christian Horner. But I do know one thing, it's about to get techie
I still believe that Marko has not forgotten nor has he forgiven the attempted coup by Horner to oust him. With stab wounds in his back and Horner holding the bloody knife waiting for Marko's body to be carried away. But wait, in comes Max and says "I don't think so" and all was restored. Who could not be rather aggrieved to be accused of releasing all of the true harassment evidence on Horner if you didn't do it. Marko seems to be a man who doesn't suffer fools easily and would not allow someone to do what has been done to him. I think he's behind the scenes creating unrest and cracks in the trophy case.
Dutch mentality is being utterly honest and very direct. Saying as it is. Other cultures may misinterpret it (e.g. blunt, arrogant, conflicting). Jos the boss is far from stupid. Hi created a machine. He will not let the context mess it up.
Yep agree 🇳🇱❤️
Jos is a very angry man though and is prone to making very rash and bad decisions, remeber this guy was set for jail but paid off the victim and at one point was charged with trying to murder his ex by running her down !
He also left a 14 yr old MAx in a gas station on the way home when he crashed in a kart race, his mum had to pick him up.
@@chasing-liberty At least he is honest. lol
As a south african born afrikaans man with dutch ancestry.. This is correct it still permiates itself in our culture.. Get to the point speak your mind or shut up simple
In all fairness, Jos is a major asshole and an attention seeker. He's not like his son. He's one of the worse Dutchmen. The fact that he was actually right and not just trying to seek attention surprises me just as much as it would anyone because it's a departure from his usual bs
I'm glad RB's downfall will have been caused by Horrible Horner.. that will be his legacy. Diminishing what he did and not putting his hands up having been caught.. not very manly at all. If he'd have apologised and resigned, RB would have easily survived this coming period. But with Max they'll be ok in the short to medium term, but Jos will know that Max's value to RB will only ever increase if staff start leaving. Then maybe Jos really will be the Boss.
Good take.
Uffff! Steve A. It's ironic right? Espesh since I'm not sure they'd be where they are without him! :( It's crazy!
@@CameronF1. I totally agree.. he outgamed and out principled the rest.. but a team principle should have principles right? The way he celebreated how 21 ended and didn't acknowledge it was controversial, really grated with me. But people want heroes more than villains. Time for him to move along and let someone else try to repair RB's rep.
Just curious or maybe I missed it, but in Newey’s press release thanking the RB organization, Helmut Marko is not mentioned but Horner and other key senior figures are. Is there something we’re missing?
Gone are the days of having single or double world champions because the regs change every 4/5 years. We've been in this era since Mercedes and now it's RBs turn and 2026 the mantle will be past on. I think its between Ferrari and Mclaren but both teams have two strong drivers so I could be made to eat my words.
I don't think theye've got their shitte sorted in time for 2026. I'm thinking 2027. Of course if MBS decides to actually get involved with something besides being on TV or regulating jewelry, it could add another year.
I have a story for you. Here is not the place. When my son played sports through college we had an understanding that I was never to bring up a game in conversation. Reason was it was his sport not mine. I believe Max would do well to distance himself from his father
Family and business never in the same sentence
That's absolutely brilliant sir. I might remember this with my young man!
@@CameronF1. it worked for me & my son. My boy’s teammates dad was a great dad & coach. now his son JP starts for the Oakland A’s. In both cases, it worked out. Back to the central idea that a strong positive relationship is what matters. Imo.
8:26 the way I see it, it's a combination of that and Adrian Newey's departure. I mean, this only started happening once Newey confirmed he was leaving the team. I feel like people are starting to see the Red Bull ship is sinking, and are abandoning it before it fully submerges in the waters
If there was ever a question about the Car or Driver argument. I give you this. Would you rather have MV01 or Newey? Should that not tell us all we need to know?
1:49 I tried to highlight before, just how too much power in one set of hands: one C Horner and backed by MBS, who have a close relationship, so close it like they are best buddies.....Christian is after the same status as Toto and will not stop until he achieves it!
................Are strings being pulled, because it looks like the last three years Red Bull has been protected?
Jos is the boss, ppl mix up big mouth with knowledge of the game. Good info Cam
Agree (as usual!), Red Bull looks higher risk than (say) Mercedes at the moment. Changing engine supplier is a very significant change on its own, and then needs to be packaged by the engineers that are no longer pointed in the right direction by Adrian Newey.
That's not to say they can't do it, but there are certainly big unknowns that other teams don't have.
Then you add the internal conflict at Red Bull which can only be a distraction and sap everyone's energy / focus and things don't look so rosey for Max to stay.
It's very likely this is peak Red Bull for a while. Still likely they will dominate the next two seasons but Ferrari and McLaren do seem to be closing the gap a bit. But 2026 onwards, I have no idea, and that's the problem Max has. There's little continuity so he won't know either.
The ideal for Max would be to stay at Red Bull 2024 and 2025 to get to 5 world championships, then off to whoever looks strongest from 2026.
That final stanza is where I'm going with this I think. Brilliant points very well made, all sir!
Peak oil theory red bull! I love that. Permission to borrow in a future stream pls? 😃
@@CameronF1. Of course :)
And now it's too late to fire Horny, because that won't help now anymore. Damage is done for Red Bull. Where would Max go? Spicy.
Cameron Adrian Newey racing 🏎 right now in Monaco 🇲🇨!!!
I'm tuned in😃
If people leave so they leave, no one is indpepdendasible, if the team goes into crisis, then it shows the management we’re not as good a thought, in fact it could be the resurgence of dominance. You talk about the people behind the scenes, this something the media do not Respect!
It happened before and it will happen again.. people leave just like it happened at Mercedes. H9w many people did Mercedes losses? I mean Jonathan want to be team principal and if he gets another chance somewhere else he needs to grab it with 2 hands and feet. Hornet is not leaving Redbull anytime soon. 2026 is going to be very interesting to see what's going to happen among all the top teams..😮😮😮😮😮😮
Can someone tell me what is Jos occupation at Red bull?🤔😂🤷
Being Max's dad makes him a key stakeholder even is he isn't on the payroll no? 🤯
@@CameronF1. The humanity brother 😂
Im watching from South Africa Johannesburg.
You are a great speaker.🙌👌
@@CameronF1.He is his manager!
I do remember when Lewis was pressured to cut ties with his father and Ron Dennis, when it worked so well. Seems like Max and his father gets promoted and Jos is allowed to throw his weight around Red Bull saying what is what! Never did Anthony behave in such a way.
@@obud3777 Thanks for the exclusive piece of breaking news. As of last weekend Raymond Vermeulen was Max’s manager.
Who do you think caused it Jos
Ofc not 😂 that was just rubbish gossip to keep you clicking. Jos didnt have a relationship with the assistant at all for example..
He just chose to side with helmut and the Austrians ( the right side , the racing side and western side of the RB company owners I might add) thats hardly "causing it"
The thai (horner side)don't understand western culture and they dont understand racing or the impact this had.
Everybody European, american knew this would fester. Normally every big company just does the clean separation tactic...horner fired, probably assistant golden handshake 🤝
@@dco1019 🤣🤣🤣Someone who’s not done is research. Do your research first he’s a woman beater as well .
Its the natural cycle of F1. It happened to Lotus, Williams, McClaren, Merc and Ferrari, and it will happen to RB. Its the inevitability of F1 team dynamics. Nothing to see here
Oh how we laughed at him didn’t we? And yet he wasn’t fully wrong.
Mix up. Jos is not the boss. He is the father of a driver. Mateschitz departure and thus the loss of the undisputed RB leader changed all. Owners and followers are now fighting for spoils and positions while loosing the perspective. RB unprofessional handling of an HR issue involving Horner started the downward spiral in which Marko seems to play a shady role. It would not have proceeded that way with the late Mateschitz.
How was it unprofessional - they hired an external lawyer to do an independent investigation - he did - and concluded it was hogwash - do we just keep investigating until Horner is found guilty of something ? Europeans concept of due process and American jurisprudence is literally night and day 🙄
It's a nickname man calm down.
to say southern europeans are more passionate and have more temperament is an understatement , unless you are southern europen and you wanna call someone something ending on phobic , then you can act a victim . perez is a mexican and has temperament , not in a million years max verstappen , michael shumacher or mika hakinnen would lose their cool on the first corner of their home gp because of pressure . call it whatever you want but hiding behind woke is turning a blind eye to reality .
Ive seen many walls come down in my day. None came down brick by brick.
True. Saloon semantics
Haha just being cheeky mate. Keep up the killer videos bruv
Red Bull & Verstappen deserve anything negative that comes their way after 2021 along with Toto/Mercedes because they didn’t fight for Lewis!✅💯. Comeuppance!✅💯. Btw, Ford Beat Ferrari & Mercedes when they Decided to- 24 Hours of Le Mans!✅💯
Well wonder if I follow your thinking what will happen with Ferrari and Sir Lewis after 2021 murder attempt.
2021 was FIA's doing not RB. They profited from Massi's decision, which any other team would've done.
@@Buho641 just ignore him mate. Sounds like an extremist, crack pot material, just stay clear.
Lewis 6 x champ has a future of doom ahead of him. He will sink Ferrari quicker than the titanic went down 😂😂😂
@@Jedimaster36091 My reasoning is Horner asked for it - An illegal request- Let them Race!✅
OMFG, What kind of nonsense is Dr. Marco spouting this week? He's like your crazy uncle everybody laughs at behind his back. The key difference is he is formidable and has a lot of influence. Try to cancel him at your own risk.
Marko's xenophobia may not be the best illustration of Zak Brown's point about having pride in one's team, seeing as how Brown just had Trump at McLaren.
Great shout
Bloody Nora! What are you talking about! Too techie, I digress.
Maybe he said it because he caused all this
Holy cow Cameron, you make F1 sound like a Religion and take it too seriously, no different than a football fan. Just enjoy the fcek'in racing for what it is, an engineering marvel. I'm bowing out of your channel.
Cheers Ronnie 🍻
Why would Jonathan Wheatley becoming boss of Audi be because of Horner? It is a promotion and career progression. Happens to every team and company all the time l. Honestly sometimes I don’t think you understand how the world works. l
Did you listen to what I said?
Upwards mobility + destabilisation.
Too say it is 100pc the former and 0pc the latter is to not understand how the world works, that it is rarely black and white, more often shades of grey
Get em@@CameronF1.
Well I think you need to go back and watch your own video. You used the word “chaos” about Wheatley potentially leaving. I don’t think you understand what the word Chaos actually means.
The stuff you do is okay with Peter Windsor but these daily click bait videos where you just invent drama for views is very frustrating.
You do you, but I have had enough of this over the last few months and won’t watch anymore.
If you think that a south american is just the same as a north european it means you have no knowledge of peoples, cultures and history. But you do have interesting views about F1.
Cultural differences, absolutely. But to attribute negative traits to cultural differences is outrageous.
@@CameronF1. So in your opinion Senna or Patrese are just as calm and smooth as Shumacher or Verstappen, as drivers? I don't think so. If this difference is "negative" or "positive" is totally subjective. Never the less the difference is there, and can bee seen and appriaciated by those who have eyes to see it.
@@CameronF1.A culture can have negative attributes... what do you think the culture was like in Nazi Germany or the antebellum American South?
After everybody has left RB, then the truth about Abu Dhabi 2021 as well as that season will come out.
The truth is OUT there - Lewis had a chance to pit and race for it - he didn't - the end.
What's with the two-zero-two-six thing?
What's wrong with twenty-twenty-six like everyone else on the planet uses?
Two extra syllables for no reason mate.
Same is boring. Sometimes.
@@CameronF1.Five vs five, but nice try.
@@peterthomas5792 you're a genius. I will absolutely amend all signifiers henceforth, just to appease you. Or not. Sameness is boring. But ta
@@CameronF1. Ah, sarcasm. Don't you just love it? 🤣
Opinions of Jos abound, and as we say here in the good old US of A, opinions are like Axxholes, we all have one, and they all stink
Truth is, like it or not, for all it implies, that all of what has happened in Max's life, created Max
Is Jos honest ? Depends.......key question is, are you, judging him, honest ? (don't answer, you'd be lying and wasting everyone's time)
Is Max hilarious ? He is to some, I love his dry sense of humor and directness, perhaps others love other types of humor....does that makes him not funny ? Is there any purveyor of "funnysm" ?
Max is a machine, been one at Toro Rosso, was clear he was one while RB had those Garbage Renault engines, ad now, that things aligned, you see domination as you never witnessed before
Boring ? Depends on who you cheer for.....I imagine is boring AF if your idol is Hamilton or Leclerc, or ....everyone else NOT called Max
I did the number few weeks ago, Mercedes and Red Bull, as of today, have the same exact winning percentage, 70% of the races partaken are won (during the dominating years), so, they should be equally boring by your standards, mind you, Mercedes did it for 7 years, RB only for 3....so, realign your sensitivities
Difference is that Ham counted for 69% of those wins, while Max accounts for 90+% of RB wins......so, it's Max
History never gave a damn on what you like or not, it does what it does, and moves on
So you have 2 choices, enjoy this historic events, or hate this historic events.....they' ll still be history, regardless of you
Another small detail, I, personally, do not watch F1 so that I can aspire and be inspired socially by any of their drivers, I have had my dad, and other humble figures do that for me....I only tune in to watch ability at its best......period, no inspiration, no inclusion, no admiration, no infatuation, no idolization, none of that
I want to see racing, skills, aggressiveness, decisiveness, boldness, competitiveness, etc.........and boy, am I getting a show by Max........
.
Sir Lewis caused this earthquake, which is shaking up the entire sport.
Perez has never been respected. Clearly, he isn't made of Nordic white stock. Hmmm. 8:12
Checo stinks - he's a bad teammate and an under-achiever behind the wheel and everyone with a brain knows it - Just look at the torpedo move he JUST tried in Miami - the clown-level failure in Mexico last year - gave P2 away in 2022 to Leclerc almost gave P2 awayto HAM last year - Checo is only a legend to himself and other Mexicans - because they have no national hero since America imprisoned El Chapo 🤡 On Track El Checo is a joker 🤡 Look at how Alonso toyed with him at Interlagos '23 - That crap NEVER happens to SUPERMAX 🐐
Respect in F1 is EARNED through skill and achievement - Checo has LITTLE of both 🤏
for the algo
You're a ledge skunk
Max told the Dutch media, he will soon stop with F1. He want to do other things and spent more time with his family
.... If they keep adding sprint races no?
