I hope they did a good job of it. The M16A2 is my favorite M16 rifle. By far, it is the most used version I have. I built mine with a Colt upper, barrel, BCG, stock, pistol grip and forearm. I used a PSA lower with the markings for M16A2, burst, etc. It took me quite a while, and not a small amount of expense, to assemble the rifle. If this rifle does that all in one box...it's a good deal. Though, I admit, searching for, buying and assembling all the parts was interesting and fun. Dura mags are my favorite for use in any AR15 rifle. I do have a Colt 9 round magazine I use for bench shooting, sighting in, etc.
Don't put a 203 on this for Predator/Scarface (same used prop rifle) because that was an M16A1. You might not be super concerned with "clone accuracy," but even so. The extra weight on the A2 with a 203 gets pretty unpleasant compared to a pencil barreled A1. Ask me how I know..
Considering the fact that most of us can't justify spending 3x what the rifle costs for just an M203 by itself, not to mention the ATF Destructive Device Tax Stamp....? Sometimes "the look" isn't worth $4k-$6k

All it needs is a binary trigger and you can use the third safety setting. I'm more interested in the A1, since I'm a 70s Cold War kid, but this looks fun.
Twelve hundred is about right for this rifle. The Colt AR15A4 is about this price. The PSA H&R guns are actually a bit more, I’m stoked to see people making all these military style ARs lately. Civilian free float guns are great, but boy are they boring 😅 Also, the predator M16 is an A1 by the way!
HAHAHAHAHA! 😅 I have 3 Tisas 1911s. One in .45 and 2 in 9mm. They’re made in Turkey and are 98% clones of the 1911 our troops carried in WW2. I kinda wish they wouldn't have put their logo on the BCG like that. It takes away that govt issue look in my opinion. I agree, these should be more like $999. With H&R offering an even more faithful replica at that $1200 range, Springfield might be asking a little high. Still, I hope they make and sell a LOT of these. I'd love to get my hands on one.
