Tastee patties all day, everyday. Juici was once the go to when my family touched down in JA. Until I had Tastee, the flavor blew me away. Juici may have more meat but, Tastee has better flavor, open it you will see the scallions (green onions). Tastee's 🙌🏿 hands down.

I was introduced to Tastee's in the city...I don't eat beef so I stick with the chicken patty (used to get soy until the price was the same for chicken). I prefer Tastee's chicken patty and their coco bread however, I prefer Juici for porridge and brown stew chicken breakfast. BTW, Tastee's is also in Barbados. Juici is here in Canada in Montréal - it's a good drive to get there. Patties are sold in the Wal-Marts here however, I've been told that they are not great (not sure which if it's actual patties from Jamaica or made by a company here). Wal-Mart only sells beef patties so I won't purchase them. I can't wait to visit home again and eat patties and coco bread!

Oooo. As an expat JA living abroad for many, many years, patties are still my favourite food!! Just looking at the Juicy and comparing it to Tastee, for my personal taste, I prefer the Juicy. Why? First off you can hear the crisp when you bit into it. The filling was juice, not dry and generous. Tastee while looking alike outside, it had no crisp bite and the filling was dry looking to me. Like I said, for most Jamaicans, patties are a very individual taste. I am stuck in Toronto, Canada right now in -3 degrees, its a Friday night, and I would loove a patty right now. Yum.
