This part is a nightmare for everyone! 🤣 All of my students hate part 4 listening but they find it much easier using this strategy 😊 good luck with your exam!
@@martincuter5799 of course native speakers can understand it but it's the fact that you have to do two tasks at the same time. So you have to listen and read simultaneously, which a lot of people find very difficult, especially in a second language. If it's easy for you then that's great 👍 maybe try the C2 exam if the C1 is too easy, it might be more appropriate for your level 😊👩🏫
Of course it was easy, she paused many times and you only heard one speaker, there are 5 speakers, 16 options and no pauses at all. When an speaker finishes the next one starts right away. It is very difficult and streesing😂 but these tipo are awesome!
Hello, thanks for updating information about Listening part 4. But, how I can make notes of a general gist, when i will pass on the computer-based exam?
@@vladlenacheban8320 in the computer based exam, I believe they should give you blank paper if you ask. If not, I think that it's possible make notes on the computer as well, there is a 'note section' on the same page as the exam task

These are very hepful tips, but I feel like the method of teaching here is best suited to face-to-face teaching. Watching a video with lots of yapping just makes me want to 2x speed it.
I'm going to try your strategy. You selected a good audio, however the test sample was much easier than one from a real test. Btw, I can't understand why Cambridge doesn't set realistic time, I'm not talking about 10 minutes per part before the audio starts, but instead of 30 seconds, 40 seconds, they should put 2 minutes, so we could read carefully and not just flicked through the options. Thank you very much!
Hello 👋 you can ask for blank paper and the examiner should give you some. You can also write notes on the exam paper too because at the end of the exam, the exam paper will go in the bin and you will have to transfer your answer to the answer sheet. Hope that helps 😊
Hi, I have put into practice this technique and I got to improve but on paper based. My doubt is regarding computer based format in which you do not have this 5 minutes to transfer. Do you have any tips on that matter? Would the same technique be useful? I would really appreciate it your feedback :)
@@valentinachacana8506 hi, thanks for getting touch. It's great to hear that the strategy helped you improve your score. Without the extra 5 minutes it will be a little trickier but I would definitely still recommend making notes of key points that you hear just so that you don't have to keep all of the information in your head. You should be allowed paper to make notes on in the computer based exam as well. Either way, make sure to focus on the questions first rather than trying to read all of the answers while you're listening 😊👩🏫
@@english_classes_online Hi, yes I will take that into account. Thanks for your reply and for doing this great video, it certainly helped me overcome my fear and frustration towards this part of the exam. Best :)
