@@djkit to be honest I was much more impressed with the X1850, there was so much I learned about it after the fact that were very pleasant surprises, stuff nobody seemed to be talking about when I switched from my Prime 4
@@djkit for me one of the biggest things was a midi out and send/ return. I used to have to switch to line in on a channel whenever I wanted to use a sampler, now I just use those ports and no more switching channels haha
I don't have CDJs, but I love Denon's products. I bought a Denon SC Live 4 controller. I'm really happy with it. Engine DJ is powerful. When tracks are analysed before, they load in milliseconds. Not using a laptop is a great feature. If I ever switch to CDJs, I won't need to mess around because they work the same way with Engine DJ ❤
Just bought my first set of SC6000 Prime's... Waiting for my 1850 mixer to arrive. When you think of the feature set and price, the Denon Sc6000 is a no brainer for club standard kit.
Pity we can't seem to get clubs to go Denon standard and not Pioneer. CDJ's are awful unless you can get your hands on CDJ3000s and the RX3 controller is not much better.
I wouldn't put a 4Tb drive into one of these, as you may have database issues. I've seen people talking about 2Tb drives, but I wouldn't go above that. If you don't already know, use an SSD drive and not a spinning platter SATA drive. Those drives can get damaged in transit. Crucial MX500 SSD drives are good speed wise and don't cost an arm or a leg. 🙂
Hi Thanks for the video. I just picked up a couple of Denon SC5000M Media players. Would the Pioneer DJM S7 mixer be fully functional in standalone mode with these decks. Thanks
Yea they've been hard at work on firmware and really investing into engine lighting/ soundswitch... which I think is the right move, their software needs a lot of work, their hardware will serve us for many many years
I bought my first one to dip my toes into cdjs and also to use it as a backup in case my controller had an issue mindset, and once you get used to it, it’s not too bad DJing with the layer feature. Just takes some getting used too
How is this not club standard??? It’s a powerhouse!!!
It's a beast for sure!
There better than pioneer
@@khaleddetroit8264 I know right? Who are these DJ snobs the clubs are worshiping?
@@bboymac84 I hear ya it's kinda like everything else Mac v.s. Windows iPhone v.s. Android
@@djstretchtone9851 I prob had like 2 restart issues with it over 2 years. Other than that it worked like a charm
You don’t see a lot festival dj use them they are so great
Pioneer has left the chat
😂😂
Hopefully forever
+ fonction maj 3.2.0
I love my SC6000s, I hope I see the day they become the standards
Glad you're getting on with them!

And some people have the insolent disrespect to compare this gamechanger to anything!!!
The M is definitely in a league of it's own!

I love mine, and I was one of the first to get em after the pandemic...🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
the most advanced machine up today, and the price is correct 🎉
It's dope
I seriously want 2 of them. I have the prime 4 and lc6000s which is sick but this is exactly as you said. . . A weapon.
Where does the cd go??
Really hope this pressures pioneer into dropping their prices or at least innovating more
Can I use it in DVS mode with a S11!? If so … how do I do it? Please 🙏
What size ssd is the max it could accept?
I wanted to put a 4tb ssd.

Should be!
Hey Rocky, yes, the S7 has built in Beat FX so that will work fully!
How do you connect the player to Serato???
You use a USB cable and switch the player to computer mode.
Absolutely, totally and completely shits ALL over the Nexus3000's. Would love to have the cash spare to grab these and a S11
😂 thanks for your brutally honest opinion! The S11is a phenomenal mixer btw.
I want these
Check the description for a link to buy!
Love it... but I coulndt effort it yet.
Because of the layer function, you only need to buy one! 😂
@@djkit Until it stops working
What’s next for denon they have been silent for quite awhile
In fairness, the Engine DJ updates have been coming in quite regularly which brings in loads of features to the current range!

I been wondering too.
Iuse original turntable idont use computer
Wow rekordbox is really behind.
What do you think rekordbox is missing?
I have sc6000. You can play two tracks on the same player. Pioneer forcing you to buy another deck
Do you DJ with one SC6000? Or do you have a pair?
