Idk man I don't believe when people say current players are trash compared to Marvel players during its peak. When you have old players still around like RayRay who just recently won a major for the first time in a while, having been runner-up for an Evo during prime Marvel, that proves current top players are actually top.
This year at EVO marvel was just not a real tournment, because the best 15 current players were not in. None of theese were at EVO (casual order): 1) Jbrill 2) LiberalTerminator 3) Escalante 4) Mundank 5) Romora 6) JasonKiddo 7) Yullizhez 8) TJINR 9) Flocker 10) Evasion 11) Livinglegend 12) Chris G 13) RayRay 14) Idom 15) Nolife Probably i even missed many others... The level of play is very low, even the first evo where we had Combofiend and Clockwork on the original Marvel vs Capcom 3 was more hype and higher skill level.
The minute I see the stupid meta teams, I skip. Boring, seen everything before. I like low tier teams played to perfection, like what Justin Wong used to do.

Dylnyan would do a lot better without a hitbox stick. You can see all kinds of drops and misplays because of it.
