This is the most "fresh out the lube rack" tool setup I've ever seen. The only people that say "I don't make mistakes" are the ones that have comebacks.
Setups like this full of economy minded tools is why shops in my area are going to company supplied tools. It’s amazing how they cut workplace injuries down buy 40% just buying quality tools. Cheap ratchet breaks and your gets all cut up. Cheap wrench slips and you hit yourself in the face. I was told buy an old timer when I started 30 years ago in the trade buy the good tools because you only buy them once.
I am a heavy duty diesel tech and always thought an electric ratchet was a waste. Finally bought one and good Lord! Its my go to ratchet for almost everything
They are expensive my friend. These tools get me through honestly. I have techs with fancy matco, snap on boxes, but I'm happy with my low budget setup here. 😄
I definitely need a more expensive fluke that little one is good to start but for tracking down parasitic draws and using frequency for fluid testing you need the more expensive ones
I have the same husky 80 inch in black I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to be a serious at home/shop mechanic on a budget. I bought mine used on FB marketplace for $900. I paid the full asking price and beat out the 60 people who marked it saved.
Bro I did the same thing. It was also the same price too. Techs were telling me to get Matco tool boxes. I had a vision of how I wanted my setup to look like already. One of the techs also said my setup is exaggerated. Like why I need all that for. His small Matco tool box was like $3k. Now that's exaggerated, lol
@aaabbol I agree, I bought the more expensive tool if I am getting excessive breakage. For example, if I buy HF socket and I have an issue with one of the sockets, them I would buy a snapon socket or try another brand, but never a whole set. It has been working for me, so far.
@willdean9327 whaaaaat bro I never had that happen with me. They got the chrome and sturdy black matte Sockets. You didn't use the chrome socket with like an impact or something did you? 🫣
that’s a super cozy setup. how much you make as a nissan tech? looks like a nice shop. just started full time as a diesel tech for construction equipment at 24 dollars. work gave me a snap on classic series tool box and now i need to expand. only choice I got is to frankenstein it.
Good thing you get your snacks at the store. The matco ripple chips 2 oz bag is 49.99 and the stubby set of sour patch kids is $149 on Black Friday. 😅😅
at the 14min what type of computer cart is that? Good to see you not spending for tool truck over priced tools. The Earthquake brand air tools are excellent in quality. fyi those snacks you are eating might be caused by insulin resistance and that stuff is toxic. I am a MB tech with 28 years under my belt.
It's an AV cart? Something like that. I'm not sure but I have it listed in the description. All the tools are pretty much in order from the description to when I called them out. And yeah those snacks I don't eat them all. Every now and then. I actually buy those for the shop here. Out of my own pocket too. Techs come and grab. And managers lol just seen the description. All the way on the bottom of list. Av Cart
Check my description buddy. Everything you see I listed it on there. Tools and all are a great start for a Nissan Technician just starting out in Main Line
I was looking back at the video and didn't remember naming the exhaust pliers. But I saw that I got them mixed up with the hose pliers. They were red and I was flying by the video lol but no I be chilling all the time 👌
I've broken a set myself. That's what I get for going for a low budget set. The set I got after seems to be doing fine so far. I try to be careful though. Lol
I get it nowadays but 10 years ago could buy tools that last lifetime nowadays tool trucks like mobile harbor freight....I got most of my tools 10 years ago or longer and picky about what buy now...seems times have changed
Yeah, I heard that once and actually saw some wrenches myself that had so much better quality. You can feel it for sure. The quality was great. These tools are not the best. "You get what you pay for" but it serves me well. It does the job just fine and it gets me by. The more expensive tools you can tell for sure by the quality. I can't afford that lol
I have an entire 1500ft repair shop fully equipped with 2 racks. Also more tools than any mechanic I know for less than 100k. Stop spending for tool truck stuff.
Yes, you are trying to offend. His tools are not "low quality". Sad to see people like you attempt to shame men into buying over priced crap from snap on and other tool truck brands. Also your statement about a "usa tool from 10 years ago", is total nonsense. Evidently you do not make a living with tools as a mechanic. FYI Taiwan makes the highest quality tools in the world now. Are you going to ridicule products made in Japan next?
Soo ahhh yeah guys, you need this thing, that thingy, trust me bro definitely those things + lotsa music and a personal industrial sized AC unit to keep my 6 bays chillin. Shit man, just see my links! It's Time for me to get the fck up outa here in my paid off murdered out Camaro✌️ Oh! almost forgot! Fck tool trucks man!🫡
This is the best toolbox tour a 15 year old has ever done.

Love how you don't have snap on tools.

Nothing wrong with snap on tools 😂

never seen someone with so much amazon tools. but atleast you dont spend snap on money on every single tool
It's what I can afford lol I ain't trying to get in debt. Some matco though because I need the good quality and power.
@@AudoFixMobile true
Those 21/22. 24/27 long ratcheting wrenches are like 300 on matco truck..

Excellent choices on the tools keep it going , the tech makes the tools !!

That matco drill bit set is just a rebrand astro pneumatic
Seriously?? I did not know that. Really good to know. I got robbed then I'm assuming. I have some ASTRO tools here as well
Love your setup!
Nice set up. I need me a side locker next
You at a independent or dealer?

I am not going to lie I had the most bad ass yard sale tool collection also starting out!
What make you going into? Or independent shop?

Just watch out for some of the items you use everyday and put a lot of stress on,I had a cheap yard sale cocker shatter in my face!

Shit you took up like 3 spots just for one tech . Wish my shop was that big and clean
How much fixing do you do at Nissan vs replacing?
I would say a strong 85% when I'm 100% sure. The other be some tough electrical and noises/rattles
That entire setup will fit in my 31 in double bay and locker and only take up half a rack worth of space.
Everyone makes mistakes in our industry. Nobody is perfect

Do mechanics ever use crowfoots?
Rarely. I bought the set because I needed it at one point so I had to use with what I got. Got the set and haven't used it since.. still new 😞
every day in hd
Use it for some jobs but only certain sizes. I’ve only ever needed 14mm and 17mm
I do on DD15 power steering hoses behind the frame.

the amount of wasted space in this is honestly ridiculous
