- The most noticeable improvement is the Mines where I managed to nail all the tricks but I accidentally used the water hat once out of panic. Over most of the run there was no mistakes but a couple spots in the late game I did choke a couple movements. That's not what lost me the 33 though, I had an average forest boss, and mediocre lake and HQ boss. Sub 34 runs will happen eventually, I'm getting so close. I'm still happy with the run, 24 seconds is still a huge pb. Retimed to be a 34:07.117
Update on future Pikuniku content: I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth again. I'm working on an advanced Pikuniku any% tutorial. Unfortunately it is going to take a bit of time to put together. So for now I will just provide the working title for it. "How to Beat Pikuniku Within 35 Minutes" Fully commentated of course :)

@@spikedskull137 I won't be done with any% until I hit 33:4X. That is probably the limit of what a human can do in Pikuniku with current strats. 33:3X with great RNG
It is so cool how some people can practice and speedrun an almost unknown game and make it cooler than a ‘normal’ speedrun.

Pikuniku is one of my favourite games I ever played and only now I discover that there are speed runs of it!
How did you perform this monster of a skip at 31:00?
for some reason if you enter a vent before touching a laser, the game doesn't actually respawn you until you re-enter the room again. therefore, since you don't ever re-enter the room, you can keep the ghostly and spooky properties of ghost Piku. pretty neat eh
wow, this is pretty interesting! i want to take a moment to appreciate you for making so much content on one of my favorite games, as Pikuniku videos such as yours are difficult to come by (at least from my experiences). Just wanted to thank you for making enjoyable videos on Pikuniku, something not very common.

I appreciate that! Thank you! I'll let you in on something. I have an advanced tutorial for any% in the works. It will go in depth and and show everyone how to push Pikuniku to its limits. I'm taking my time with it because I want the quality to be good. Sooner rather than later though :)

Also to point out, your final boss was worse than mine, if you had tied the boss from my 38:46 that would've been a 33:59

Every skip is also able to be performed on switch. Any other release should work too as far as I know.

I also want to speedrun Pikuniku, how do you get the timer anf xbox controller on screen?
I used OBS(Open Broadcast Software) It's free to download and open source. It is the program that let's me put that together and record it.
@@ExponiK do you know how to do it on PC? when I tried Pikunku didn't want to be adjusted to the right size and stayed on fullscreen so I had to play without even seeing the live split timer

@@idontknow_whattowritesooo130 Okay I booted up the game to see if I could find anything that might be inhibiting you. I noticed that if I scroll down to the resolution and not any further, that I can't see the toggle for fullscreen mode. Did you by chance not turn fullscreen mode off? Even if you set a lower resolution the game will still be displayed in fullscreen. I would honestly not fault anyone for making this kind of mistake. It could slip under the radar for anyone, including myself.
