Spectacular video, mate. I'm hunting a reverse headstock maple neck for my strat as we speak. Keep up the good work all my love to you. Peace and love ✌
Find one yet? If your budget allows it, I just ordered a roasted flame maple Strat neck with a reverse CBS era headstock from Warmoth for under $400 shipped.
They make you play dfferently, that's for sure because you play badly when your G's a bit off and you can't just reach up to the machine and tweak it into tune.Having the headstock upside down makes it impossible to do that. When appearances supersede practicality you have a problem . Jimi had no choice in having the headstock of his Strat upside-down, if Eric Clapton had been able to get that left handed Strat that he bought for Jimi to him, Jimi would have been over the moon and never played another right handed Strat again. He's probably looking down at us fools and laughing at all the weird shit we do in his memory. The other dumb thing we do is the "relic" con, I'm sure that amuses him as well, buying new guitars that have been damaged in the factory ON PURPOSE is totally insane.
So rad dude! So glad I came across this 👏
Cool guitar mate love it. Bridge pickup sounds brilliant
Thanks man! I appreciate it!
If it the headstock makes you play differently, by way of inspiration or feeling, more power to you. Btw, Thumbs up to your luthier friend.
muranilife Thanks!

Felixq78 Agreed
Bruhhhh
Do you use Jimi gauge strings on it? 10-38? TIA. lml
mdub048 I use 9-42 (sometimes 46) gauge strings on all of my strats but I should definitely try those gauge strings. Thanks for the suggestions!
