What do you exactly mean by "trails"?
@@bluecataudio if you have a delay or reverb vst a way to cut the input to the vst but allow the delay to finish
That's built into our own delays, and it will work if the VST delay reports the tail length and your deactivate the entire effect chain in Axiom (provided that the "tail spillover" option is active)@@danjones4002

As mentioned earlier, if you bypass an effect chain (not just the effect) and the VST reports the tail properly, it should work@@danjones4002
