His voice is stunning in that he’s 75 yrs old. This guy and his old band were trailblazers I’ve loved Alice since I first heard them in 1970 as a kid working in a shoe store

I clicked thinking I'd be let down... Nope he sounds amazing and wow this song has a amazing hook and grove loved it. Getting ready to start my day listening to this. I think it's gonna be a Alice Cooper type of day !
Yes!! Great, fun lineup. Wish I'd seen them. Matt is really good. He use to be our roommate fir a while until he joined the Cult. Nice guy too. Love Alice Cooper.
@@shepmathe Might he be the Cult drummer in the early '90s? One of my alltime fav songs is "Edie". The Cult performed this live in LA around '94. A YT video of that song is also a personal fav. I'm not sure if the drummer at that time was Matt but he was singing back up vocals while laying down a great beat.

I've played I Got A Line On You in every band I've ever been in. This version, except for the beginning of the guitar lead, along with the shortish length of it, probably comes closer than any other I've heard to the way I like to play it. I would so love it if there was ever a live release of the 2018 Berlin show. That was probably the best show I have every seen from any band ever. Every Vampires show I have seen on every tour they've done was great and I'll get this Live in Rio when it comes out to add to my collection, but that one night in Berlin was pure magic.

Phenomenal! What a great, solid, upbeat, kick a$$ version of this song! I ended up downloading the entire album in iTunes! Alice Cooper, to me, has the most raw, iconic Rock and Roll voice in history and exemplifies that "Iconic Rock Star" presence! Fellow Detroit boy discovered and promoted by Frank Zappa! I met him at a golf course in Scottsdale, AZ. We both live in AZ. He was in the group ahead of us. I was watching his swing when it was his turn to hit and it was smooth and fluid! I knew it was him because he had a long black pony tail coming out of the back of his Titleist hat! I ended up talking to him in the clubhouse after the round and told him I'm also from Detroit, played in bands (drummer) that played a lot of his songs, my admiration for Frank Zappa, Detroit, etc.. I approached him like a regular dude and not a crazed fan so I think he appreciated that! He's the nicest guy, very friendly and approachable, open, talkative and extremely intelligent and articulate. He's also a living history book of the rock and roll timeline that he's been involved with for so many years! I could've listened to him for hours! Great experience!

I heard a K.D.Lang interview where she talked about how you need to really take care of your vocal cords when you sing long shows every nite. She talked about different herb teas and resting your voice a lot. Remembering that interview made me think about how Alice Cooper sounds pretty much like he did when I saw him in 1971 after ''Killer '' was released. He has been singing damn near ever night for 50 sum odd years and doing a popular radio show ,talking for hours . And clearly any slight loss of upper range is more than compensated by Alice's skill as a singer. To see a rock giant of my generation still more than relevant is so wonderful.
