CRIME ALERT!
JUNE 18, 2024 AT 10AM
ROOSEVELT PARK NEIGHBORHOOD.
SJPD INCIDENT NUMBER 24-170-0306.
Beware of this man, wearing a Pittsburg Pirate baseball cap.
He was seen walking north on South 24th Street from Whitton, toward East San Fernando Street when he stopped and attempted to break into a red sports car that was legally parked. He then walked across the street, and trespassed into the courtyard of the corner house.
He left and spent about the next 6 minutes peering into the home from various vantage points along East San Fernando Street.
When he was confronted, he replied he was "Simply walking" and then left and walked south on South 23rd Street.
A report was filed with the San Jose Police Department.
If you see this person, you are advised NOT to confront him, but to call 911 instead and reference case number P24-170-0306.
