The flood situation in Sylhet has worsened due to continuous rains and uphill landslides. 1 thousand 176 villages of 97 unions of the district have been inundated by the third phase of flood.

নিজেকে সিলেটের উন্নয়নে উৎসর্গ করো
কারণ বিভাগের উন্নয়নের তুলনায় সিলেটের উন্নয়ন শুন্য
অথচ প্রাকৃতিক সম্পদ ও বৈদেশিক মুদ্রা দিয়ে সরকার সব চেয়ে বেশি রাজস্ব আয় করে সিলেট বিভাগ থেকে
কিন্তু সিলেটের সম্পদ দিয়ে ন্যায্য ভাবে সরকার সিলেটের সমস্যা সমাধা সিলেটের উন্নয়ন না করে সিলেটের সম্পদ দিয়ে অনান্য বিভাগের উন্নয়নে করে
অতএব উন্নত দেশ উন্নত জাতি গঠনের জন্যে ব্যারিস্টার সুমনের মতোই সৎ সাহসী ব্যক্তিত্ব সম্পূর্ণ যোগ্য কর্মট দেশ প্রেমিক দেশ ও জাতির উন্নয়নের জন্যে নিঃস্বার্থে নিজেকে উৎসর্গ করে দেয়ার মতো নেতা কর্মী সিলেট বিভাগে অভাব
হায়রে অসহায় সিলেট বাসি. দেশের সব চেয়ে ধনী বিভাগের বাসিন্দা হয়ে সরকার ও অসৎ অযোগ্য দূর্বল নেতা কর্মীদের কারণে সিলেট অবহেলিত সমস্যায় জর্জরিত
হে সিলেট বাসি জাগো
এই ভাবে অন্যায় অত্যাচার আর কতো দিন আলাদা হওয়ার চিন্তা করো
দেশ ও জাতির উন্নয়নের জন্যে সৎ সাহসী যোগ্য কর্মট নেতা কর্মী মনোনীত করো
কারণ চেষ্টা করিলে সব সমস্যার সমাধা রয়েছে কিন্তু এম পি মুমিন মেয়র আনোয়ার ও আরিফের মতো অসৎ অযোগ্য দূর্বলদের কে দিয়ে সমস্যা সমাধান উন্নয়ন কিছুই হবে না
