His tone, his diction, his vibrato, his breath control.. Omg.. Words cannot describe how beautiful this performance.
He’s got the best voice . Listening to this was a treat … Broadway music was a good experience for him. He’s got control, and those vocals are pure gold . All the attention !!

When people don't realize how skilled AL is - this is just proof that he holds back his training- best example- Believe, this is way more controlled then that performance. (you can hear it, this isn't bias) And this was years ago. imo But AL never hid past work actually, when he was on idol he mentioned it that he was on Wicked. Oh, I forgot to tell you - Adam is writing a musical! He hasn't shared much of the details but it's about a real person in the 1970s and he's been co-writing with some UK songwriters who have done musicals before. It did come out that Boy George of Culture Club is involved in some way. Adam said his next album will be a concept album for the musical with him singing all the songs.
Brigadoon is a musical based (loosely) on an actual Scottish legend. That's why he's using a kind of a Scottish accent, rollin' them 'r's. My heritage is Scottish, and I have actually been to the place in Scotland that this musical portrays. Anyway, he's phenomenal as always in his these younger days.

Lerner and Lowe's Brigadoon has the most amazing music and lyrics. The performances are excellent and despite Adam's performance being off-off-Broadway, my hope is that you'll investigate this and their other musicals as the music is too wonderful to be forgotten.

This is not classical/opera music. He can sing opera, I heard a bit from him and he was wonderful as always. But this is musical theater at its best. There was a movie and a better version on tv in the 60's. His parents got him involved in musicals as a kid to keep him busy and focus on his obvious gift. I have loved this song since the 60's and Adams version is just heavenly.
