I was looking for this ..I can’t hit the high notes like him
Oneboss hope it helped! 😀
🙏🏼 Christopher are you from London 🇬🇧 or Ontario I’m 🇨🇦 anyways. I want singing 🎙🎶 lessons and tell that vocal coach all about me plus 🎙🎶 like Adam Lambert ❤️ his voice.
Hi 👋🏻🇨🇦 👧🏻 here want to sing 🎤🎶 like Adam Lambert very badly he’s so talented like my favorite Christian rock 👨🏻🎤 Colton Dixon.
Its all about the hair.
Thanks for your advice, I follow it and study Adam technic it's very useful !
Princess Edanea glad it helped
You should analyze Jamie Miller because I dont know if hes using mix or chest when he belts out like crazt GO CHECK HIN!
By the way, the tongue and the larynx are both connected to the hyoid bone, which is a bone located right below the pharynx, which is why the larynx rises in relation to the tongue's height.
Loving this video ! I really enjoy everytime you upload new content .
Nico M Music that’s really encouraging for me. Thanks nico!
Hey 👋🏼 Christopher can you teach us how sing 🎤🎶 like Brendon Urie from Panic! at the disco 💃🏻I like them both.
This video series is very helpful, thank you! Could you possibly make a video about how to get into the tones of Freddie Mercury? I just seem to not be able to get into anything near that tone. Seems to me he is using all larynx positions, maybe even lower larynx, especially live.
Nikolai glad you found it helpful. I love Freddie so could be a cool one to do in the future
I saw your story today. You are such an inspiration. I am really honored to discover your Channel today Christopher. Today is my birthday 12 th of June . I am fond of singing but I am shy and can't sing in front of others. It is just a hobby because when I am really sad I do not sing frm my heart 😅. I think my voice is similar to my dear Adele but can really have Shakira vibes . I am like a chameleon. My voice changes. I am in love with the Channel and I am a New subscriber now. Sending you all the positive vibes.☺️❤️
Adam L.m thanks for the message and for subscribing 😀
@@ChristopherDavidMitchell Not at all. I really appreciate your response. You are a professional. Good luck. Greetings from North Africa 😊
how does it feel to sing like that? i mean your mix voice
i can only do a chest dominant mixed voice and it really feels like a high chest belt.
if it's not that chest dominant mix, how can i get that other sound?
thomas_com_h its always a balancing act.Too much chest and too much head. Muscles want to be all or nothing. It will take time and bespoke vocal exercises to find that middle ground. Stick at it
@@ChristopherDavidMitchell what exercises would you recommend for me?
thomas_com_h Well I haven’t heard you...so with mix stuff, its quite complex. I haven’t really got ‘set’ exercises, just depends what I hear from the individual singer
This is extremely useful!! Can you make a video on Mitch grassi?? The tenor in Pentatonix. He does something really interesting with his voice
Félix Maidana glad it was helpful. Yeah Mitch is an awesome singer!
Christopher David Mitchell Yes!! Everyone talks about his 'Mask-placed head voice'. There are no explanations on that. If you can reveal the secret to that sound it would be really helpful, it’s something that not all teachers know how to explain properly. Thank you!! I’ll keep on watching your videos :)
@@Advanceyourenglish5 mitch grassi is singing in full head mix all the time. Try to yell in to you headvoice thats what he does. Not a difficult technique.
Head voice??? Or mix voice???
5E7EVEN - Dani Swazil mix
Both
thank you very much!)
Maxim Bashkirov you’re welcome
Christopher David Mitchell Even you have explained what is Adam Lambert singing secret, the truth that Lambert has a talent, he naturaly has an ability to sound very clean on his high notes)
But you have done so great work, trying to do Lambert's chalenge, respect!))
If it is not had for you, can you make a cover of Lambert's song "Can't Let you go"
Maxim Bashkirov don’t know that song... but yes, he has got amazing natural talent too. But at least hopefully there were some helpful points in the video
I just found your RUclips! You are a great teacher with great insight and personality. I would love to hear your take on JAMES Arthur. He is a great artist and I would to hear about his vocal techniques & how he produces the grit in his voice when he begins to belt during the climax of his songs. For example, when he performs “Impossible” live. Continue helping the singing community out. Much love from Washington DC!
AyyeMoeDC love that song. Yeah great shout, thanks! Although his tone has similarities to Lewis capaldi so check out my video on that
Christopher David Mitchell thank you! You are the man ✊🏾
Your voice is so masky, I love it. So much resonance
Awesome!!
Wayne Sanders glad it helped 😀
😂 omg so you need to stick your tongue tonge
There we go, also, he doesn't do it all the time, imo check out his new song- perfect example of texture to his voice.
What's the name of the song, please?
@@ЭдуардПапазян-й7ю Currently is Roses by Adam Lambert + Nile Rodgers. He uses his falsetto. Not his typical belting.
@@MasiaDe Thank you
Can u do Louis Tomlinson two ghost or just how to sound like him plzz
Lexie but Two ghosts is Harry's song
Just strain a lot. You’ll sound like louis
Sir 🙏 great education on the larynx positioning.. good stuff thank you!
Chester...
Easily can do most of Adam’s high notes of his songs
Doubt it
Doubt it.
Great video Christopher ! would love if you can do one on David Archuleta or Lea Michele cheers from Switzerland ;)
MAXHIT Studios great suggestions! Noted 😀
@@ChristopherDavidMitchell thanks 😀
Make a video on how to sound like Marc Martel
Alex Davis that guys pretty darn great! 😀
Who would want to sound like Marc martel? He's an imitator- best doing one on Freddie and then you've covered Marc who is a lesser version of Freddie
Marc's series of videos on how to sing like Freddie are free on-line. He published them about 10years ago. Maybe some of Freddie Mercury's hundreds of mimics have been benefitting. 😂😂😂😂
To sing like Adam you would need a expert sound engineer, an expensive mic, a custom made in-ear piece and, last but not least in the very least, auto-tune!
Listen to him sing a cappella!
How on earth have you found this video??? Aren’t you jealous…Professional musician studies Adam’s vocals and he’s in awe of Adam’s talent. Must be hard for you to watch, so you troll…
@@lararoostalu9318
It was suggested to me by YT.
@@lararoostalu9318
Jealous? Hardly! You are missing the point. Chris here knows what he is talking about, but is literally talking about ONE vocal trick, i e sticking the tongue out to create that LIGHT bright sound that Adam is known for.
If ONE vocal trick describes Adam’s entire approach to singing, that, in my book, means
a) Adam is a one trick pony, which I always said he is.
b) Adam always sounds the same regardless of what he sings, which is not good bc, stylistically speaking, he shows no versatility.
c) Adam primarily focuses on bright sound, aka high notes, to sing every Queen song he is entrusted with; bc of that, the songs lose their original style and meaning since belting high notes at all times while singing rock, and sometimes heavy rock songs, is only self-serving and distracting. Bright notes are impressive, but they impede dynamics and obliterate the lyrics when done excessively. And we both know Adam doesn’t hold back when trying to impress!
d) I want you to count how many times Chris said “light” referring to Adam’s tone. Light sound needs right soundboard engineer and very good equipment to make it sound fuller: it’s thin and (in Adam’s case) sharp at times and really grating on the ear. So, as I said in my comment, to sing like Adam live would mean using a mother load of equipment, a great sound engineer and, yes, auto-tune, bc Adam has horrible pitch problems, which Chris would probably point out were he to react/dissect one of Adam’s a cappella videos, like his Don’t Stop Me Now or his party impromptu Nessun Dorma.
