The performance you reacted of Céline 2019 was in Los Angeles and she was sick unfortunately 😕 but LOVED this reaction. Many vocal coaches say she uses AES when belting. I’d love to here more about that if you react to her again!

@@ChristopherDavidMitchell do you know lara fabian? she is often compared to celine dion in europe .... but lara does not use her nose or her mask ... personally i prefer celine's singing because faster more fluid clearer .. lara will have a more perfect way of singing but it sends a more muffled sound in the headymix, it has nothing to do with celine dion and her mask !! no problem I prefer celine while lara would be stronger on the technical ...

Lara Fabian often has a nasal sound too, but gets no flag for it. She places her sound at the back, all the way up through her nasal cavity at times. Celine, at least used to place her sound in the front and use that nasal cavity. Celine uses a darker timbre nowadays and still ends up using her nasal cavity, and has that tongue tension..

Wow. What an amazing analysis of the singing style of one of the greatest singers of all time. I loved how you were able to explain why she is nasal sometimes. To be honest I actually like the sound of her nasal singing. 😂 maybe its because of the sound of her voice or her vocal timbre that makes her nasal great. That's actually what makes her standout because not all singers has that talent or ability.

@@mjdin4705 her noze the nose but I think that the mask there is other ending than the nose can be on the head voice I don't know but in summary the nose
“Mask” = if you pay attention to vocal coaches it’s a term they mention often. He refers to the front of the face, namely the area surrounding the nose and sinuses, which can reach from your dimples all the way up to just above your eyebrows. It usually just refers to the nose and the dimples.

John De Leon I imagine with celine it’s just a style thing. She can still sing really great, so it’s probably a choice. But if if you notice that she sounds a bit tired, lowered a key, and then you hear the yodel, then it could be more of a ‘must’ than a ‘choice’ for her

Do mix voice should using nasal resonance? i found my mix voice with my soft palate completely lifted, but it's hard to do, make my voice tend to sounds shouty

Christopher David Mitchell absolutely . Im a massive fan. Thats why i get annoyed when her voice goes super nasal coz it never used to be haha. But it depends these days . Sometimes its fine and sometimes a bit more nasal and tongue. But yep still incredible to hear.
