I feel like someone has to make a updated version of his best vocals because he's definitely grown a lot these past few years and people watching this has no idea what they're missing!
there's a best live vocals from popcrush which showcases his abilities much better than these 'best of idols' performances

Agreed. This early stuff is NOTHING. Someone should listen to him do some Queen material. I am a huge classic rock fan... and I'm just going to say it. Adam Lambert is AS GOOD or better than Freddie.
Adam is a vocal masterclass who has come a very long way since Idol.
I never thought in a million years that any one would touch me the way Freddie Mercury does. It was my dream after Adams first few performances on American Idol that he would perform with Queen. I even wrote countless letters to Bryan May and Rodger about how great he would be for them to perform with. Well it looks like a lot of other people thought the same thing including Queen. I still can’t believe my dream came true. And I got to see Queen with Adam few weeks ago in Philadelphia. Bonus for the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders on stage during fat bottom girls.
Bryan May and Rodger are incredible artists and now they have an incredible vocalist to bring the magic back.

Look up on you tube Adam Lambert isolated vocals, all the American Idol ones are there, wow is all I can say, he makes it sound easy, easy, easy, he doesn't even need the music that's how great he is! Do a reaction to that, there is some from his solo work too! God, Adam is beyond outstanding!

Elliot Rodger Dimash has more range for sure but he doesnt have any soul in his voice, it’s all technique. Adam has emotion and is much more powerful.

Rhodda Thompson He was. Everyone knows this. Adam Lambert, hands down, magnified everything American Idol stood for but American IdolI caved and sold out. Adam Lambert WAS and IS the Ultimate American Idol. The best thing that happened to him is "losing" that show because everyone knew he was the "winner" and does anybody actually remember who won that year? Of course not. Everyone tuned in every week to see what Adam would do next. Adam Lambert has a HUGE career and is lead singer with one of the greatest bands in history. He got the last laugh and he lost NOTHING.

Hey Adam, love that you did Adam's Idol performances. That is where I first came to love his amazing voice. When he didn't win I actually quit watching the show. Later I came to realize that maybe it was better he came in 2nd. He might not have become popular as fast, I mean you don't hear about Chris Allen now while Adam is still going strong. I do believe he would have become a mega star no matter what though, he is just too good. Great reaction and you have a brand new subscriber. Can't wait to watch more of you.
I'm a huge Adam fan, and I was just as heartbroken as everyone else when Adam didn't win Idol. However, I think it's really sad that it's almost 2019 and some people still have to say something negative about Kris Allen when talking about Adam's career. I'm sure Kris Allen's fans hear about him all the time, and, believe it or not, there are also plenty of people out there that have no idea that Adam has been fronting Queen for years or that he even has a career at all. I'm just sayin', just because you haven't heard much about someone doesn't mean that they're not doing anything or that no one listens to them anymore. And just because we hear about Adam all the time doesn't mean that everyone else does.
@@swdshchck I wasn't saying anything bad about Kris Allen, but about American Idol. I don't think he was promoted well enough by them after he won. I think he was just fine. I do like Adam better, but have nothing negative to say about Kris.

@@aaron.saladbar I have a question for you MM trolls who go on every single Adam Lambert video. It 's obviously is out of jealousy. It takes an inordinate amount of time for trolling. Do you not have anything better to do with your life? Why not support MM since he's not doing too well in the industry? Queen had the opportunity to pick Marc but they didn't want him. They've said in dozens of interviews that they don't want an impersonator. Besides that he doesn't have the stage presence or theatricality. They said they don't ever want anyone else but Adam and they treat him like family. Adam has even gone on vacation with Roger twice. Insanity Is Doing the Same Thing Over and Over Again and Expecting Different Results. That describes MM trolls.

Adam Lambert is grate as a vocal artist. But when you compare him to Marc Martel and the style of Freddy, Adam is not even in the same universe as Marc to be honest.
It's so easy for him to sing up to G5 using ONLY his mixed voice. Insane.

I hope you'll do MORE on his various performances, like the most recent one at Kennedy Center Honors, where he sang an outstanding, ballad rendition of Cher's "Believe" and also some of his live performances with Queen! apart from his AMAZING voice, Adam Lambert's stage presence and that theatrical quality in him makes watching him perform such an overall pleasing (and at times mind-blowing) experience.
Adam is every bit as great as Tom Jones or Elvis....that same raw energy allied with incredible vocal talent!
He ranks up there with Mariah and Whitney. No doubt one of the great vocalists of our time. And no - I am not kidding.
Meatloaf said he was on the level of Aretha Whitney.

The video you reacted was a little bit outdated. You may want to check his recent performances with Queen or solo (live acoustic) and prepare to be amazed.
That is for sure, some of it is before American Idol. Yet, it doesn't include him singing Brigadoon, which is beautiful.

This was nothing to do with lack of control. He was very controlled. He was just doing something different here. Partly because you have to do your best to dazzle the judges and audiences each week to get through to the next round.

You know Adam's voice is so incredible that I wonder what people are going on and on about him improving vocally; then I heard his Mad World performance (when he debuted Welcome to the Show - 2016?). OMG! He doesn't sing the whole song but it is actually 100 more perfect. So beautiful!!!!!!
you need to react to newer stuff. Adam did a tribute to Cher "Believe " full version at Kennedy Center it went viral, also a song written by Freddie Mercury { not in Queen's catalog } called Love Kills Fantastic, also Who wants to live Forever Isle of Wight.

Ring of Fire and Mad World were most definitely my favorite performances of the season. Randy Travis trashing his version of Ring of Fire really pissed me off. I love the Johnny Cash original but was blown away by Adam's interpretation. Absolutely no doubt he would have won that season if he wasn't openly gay.

Adam Lambert is SO criminally underrated. IMO he is THE best mainstream vocalist alive. Maybe underrated is the wrong word but he doesnt get that credit because he doesnt have decent original material or any hit songs. He can sing literally any song
He actually has great songs. One just needs to deep check his material. Not just released singles.
