FILM DESCRIPTION:
Recent college grad Jaime Reyes returns home full of aspirations for his future, only to find that home is not quite as he left it. As he searches to find his purpose in the world, fate intervenes when Jaime unexpectedly finds himself in possession of an ancient relic of alien biotechnology: the Scarab. When the Scarab suddenly chooses Jaime to be its symbiotic host, he is bestowed with an incredible suit of armor capable of extraordinary and unpredictable powers, forever changing his destiny as he becomes the Super Hero BLUE BEETLE.

It is sad to see Jaime's father die from a cardiac arrest
i was on the verge of laughing actually. the scene in the cosmic realm was good though.
I think the only reason why Jamie's dad out of all his family members got killed is because he's barely noticed in the trailer before disappearing in the background unlike the rest of his family

Blue Beetle felt like a fusion of
Iron Man: a tech suit with a connection to a company that makes weapons
and Spider-Man: Young man becoming a bug themed superhero and then loses his beloved father figure (which in this case is his actual dad)
And I enjoyed the whole movie!
Don't forget Venom too regarding the scarab being the DC version of a symbiote

When I was in the theatre watching this for the first time and then this scene came on I was like “If Jaime dosen’t kill this woman I am giving the movie one bad review.”
His looks like Iron Man 🤨🤨
What do you think Jamie Reyes Blue_Beetle would have been like if he let the Scarab take control over him or used deadly weapons when Victoria Kord got her soldiers to go after his family? If that happened, Would he have avoided being captured and would he not have lost his Dad? Is his emotions holding him back?
Why did the writers make Alberto perish in this movie since this did not happen to him in the comics? What would have happened if if it was Rudy who didn't survive while Alberto was everything he is in this movie since he doesn't exist in the comics?

@@annafowdy Clearly this didn't happen to Alberto in the comics. Do you think it should have been Rudy since he doesn't exist in the comics while Alberto became the Computer and tech wiz he is? This is similar to how Jonathan Kent Superman's adopted dad died from a heart attack in the comics
@@trexadvent4726 I think Rudy was probably based on Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer's own uncle. There's a dedication in the credits that says “Para Rudy." Steven Caple Jr did the same thing with Transformers 7 (Reek was based on his friend who died).
Heroes lose
They use purple neon to make it look futuristic
But it feels so cheap
It was meant to look more comic book than futuristic
Felt like a cheap cw show than a movie.
No wonder this movie bombed.
