I’ve never been the type to get upset over the passing of celebrities or people I have no relation to. But robs passing hit different. Rip and prayers for the family
Didn't know who this dude was until RUclips recommended me his farewell video. Now I'm sad I didn't know about him sooner. You can tell his loss will be deeply felt. RIP.
This story reminds me of my shady customers that showed up at my job, I work retail in the Great white north, their were to Puerto-Rican men who would always show up, with bundles of $100s and spend 3 to 5 grand on electronics, everyone was scared around them except me, I would help, I never questioned, got to know them a little bit and turn out they were smugglers, I don't know what they did and don't want to, but they appreciated that I never questioned and one time they said, "do you know what you gotta do to make this much money in 2 weeks", I responded with, as long as the money is real and green, I don't care how you make it, haven't seen them in 4 or 5 years so God only knows but they always would come and ask for me and get whatever they wanted
similar help given here, never asked questions as a teenager, but in a geo metro from the late 90's...I had some buddys with connections...I was a dumb teenager in the same sense anyone other teenage boy was dumb, but I went a lil further, I liked going fast(that's why my father got me a Geo Metro with the 3 cylinder as my first car) my father being an old time dirt car driver, and my brother being affiliated with heavy drugs before he passed, well when he did (Laced with Powdered ethanol & fentanyl) I decided I was never gonna do "hard" drugs, well my buddys didnt have that influence, and long behold the most inconspicuous vehicle is a damn Geo Metro, well I would go on late night runs with my fantastic MPG going no more than 80 MPH in my 95 MPH limited Geo, and I had picked up friends of friends when they were running, I had helped do dropoffs, and all kinds of real middle man type shit, well when it was all said and done and I didn't want any friends, I had already done plenty of psychedelics and practically addicted to smoking shwag by then, I dropped all of em, well one day the biggest connection I had came back around and started dating my sister, got her in a whole hellstorm of a mess....wasn't long after my "old friend" became a threat to my sister, my parents, and me, well I lied, i kept a couple connections along the way, but people who were out of bounds to a man like him, needless to say one threat and 3 phone calls later, he stopped asking for his phone bill to be paid by my sister, or my parents.....long story but all in all, never turn down a friend in need, cause one day you'll need them, even if you dont know their first name
It's funny this is something my dad taught me early in life, you don't judge people off of what they did in their past, you judge them on how they treat you. He was friends with people that had done 20 years in prison and people that ran college athletic departments didn't make a difference to him as long as they were a good person to him.
Judge people not by how they treat you, but how you see them treat other people. As I have told my 16 year old niece, don't judge a young man by what he tells you, he'll tell you anything to get what he wants. Judge him by how you see him treat his parents and other people.
Crazy story, it’s like when my Uncle was at court and asked me if I wanted to check out the Gold Club Trial. Crazy story from a member of the family talking about wacking folks in a club back in the 80’s. He either was looking straight me or thru me, but was intimidating.
I have learned that whether you’re living a life of doing good or bad things, it is INTEGRITY that’s valued universally. It sounds like their trust in you was far more valuable than any car they allowed you to drive away with.
Reminds me of my grandfather. I love him to death , the description you gave could be him. H e taught me in 5 years , how to be a man. Not take everything everyone says to you to heart . Taught me how to read people and have some wit and and balls to stand up for yourself. That little thing will defuse and put someone back on their heels and put you in control of your fate . The best quote was " its ok to know everything , but dont let anyone know , if you do , you'll end up with twice the work and half the money " . Sit back and keep your mouth shut , listen.... because you'll find out who's full of shit and a liar . Greatest lesson I ever learned . Also talk to a man , not at him . You'll make great friends and subordinates . He also introduced me to my wife . Almost 30 years with her , and 2 beautiful kids . Damn I miss that guy . They always ask " whats your 1 wish " that he met my boy and girl , because he would bust my balls so bad. I would love it .I miss those battle's . My wife used to ask me what he did before he retired , I said he hasnt yet , as she sees him pull the wad of bills out in the elastic band,,,, with fins rolled out on the outside ,. yard notes in the middle . THat grumpy old basterd used to pay me in fins and sawbucks.. what a dick. Lol , a great man.
Thank you for keeping the channel open. I didnt realize that there was a rabbit channel to watch. I now have so much more content to watch of one of the best auto storyteller to watch
Your story reminds me of the first real job after high school. I was working at a one man bumper repair shop, back when cars had bumpers. Some of the people the boss would hire to get caught up on orders was an eye opener and the stories they shared about the other people that worked there. Don’t piss this one off because he’s always armed. This one is called baby face but he knows martial arts and is bad. This one got in a bar fight over a pool game and threw a punch and the friend that grabbed his arm went through the wall. Great education for a young man.
OH ! Rabbit , this sounds just like my Uncle Worth . He had two auto business's, that we know of, back in the day. One in Gainesville, Ga and one in Atlanta, Ga. He was Southern Mafia !! Full Blown !! He looked and dressed like The God Father everyday !! He was feared by MANY !! Hell, I was his nephew and he scared the hell out of me. Just to look at him was enough to scare the hell out anybody~~! Moonshine maker / runner, Midnight Auto Parts, Vice, you name it, he had a hand in it. But, he loved and protected his FAMILY and FRIENDS. Nobody would mess with his family or friends. They knew damn better to try !!
What a story teller this man was!Reminds me of a retired car salesman I had the great pleasure to meet not long ago Joey W. he could tell some stories too, I’d Love to see him fire up a channel! This has been a tough week, two of my favorite RUclipsrs have gone to Heaven Rob Rabbit Pitts and Joe Pops Mac, I’ll miss em both so much! ❤️ You both!
There is another reason why people who dabbled in "Waste Management" relocated to the South, a sudden desire for self-preservation. This was the basis of the scariest encounter I had when I was a Volunteer Fire Chief during the 1990s.
We've got so many stories in common. I was a little wider, did things Rabbit wouldn't, proving he was smarter but my boughs were a little bigger. They've shrunk a lot now that I'm getting old.
The fact his stories will remain on RUclips makes it a little less painful he's gone, it allows anyone to hear his voice and continue to hear it for the rest of time.
Reminds me of a story I read on Reddit once. Guy walks into a Pizzeria in Maryland or something while he was passing through the area, the front door was open and the lights inside were on. He sees some folks apparently tending to the place and orders a pizza. Apparently the guys in the place looked confused then kind of meandered around for bit getting things together to make a pizza and brought it out after about an hour and a half. They refused to take his money so dude thanked them and rode out with his pizza. He said it was the best pizza he'd ever had in his life and called the place "Fronties".
Excellent one RABBIT and The RUC! You never know who you will get a good word from or who you may learn a thing or two! Life's lessons! That chevy's sure sitting right! -🤘
Great story, and life advice. The one son through school and one through a wall, I think Rodney Dangerfield said it in the movie Back to School. But it's still a great line to use.
Rob could tell a story like Rembrandt painting a picture. Ill continue watching until I've seen em all three times! Rip buddy..p.s. Its hard to be humble when you come from dirt & rise to the top like our boy did!
The funny thing about that dealer insurance, I worked for a Ford dealership up until a couple weeks ago when they let me go. Im 19, and I was a salesman. Let that sink in.
Those OG's like that are like hens teeth. When i went to prison, my buddies mom sat me down and told me what to expect going into a federal prison. She had spent 10 yrs in there. They dont make them like they use to
Went to the dentist yesterday. He failed to pull my tooth, I was in a lotta pain, but, I still hadda go see about this little ole Impala yesterday. the drugs the dentist gave me musta been pretty good, because when I woke today, that little ole Impala was in my driveway... The first step to recovery is admitting you're powerless over your addiction. Having said that. Time to roll up another one, take a sippa coffee, and listen to the ole wise Rabbit on a rainy day.
Buddy good story. Life is about experience and knowledge. You take in what want dispose what you don’t like but you learn. I probably can listen to you and yours stories forever jajaja keep doing what you doing. Love that 85 white corvette and the history
My scariest story. Walking home from gymnastics practice. See the same silver Malibu with tinted windows and NO PLATES pass me four times not quite going slow; but not the speed limit either. I dipped into a gas station, called my uncle because he’s retired and told Him I’m scared please come pick k me up at the gas station.
I had an uncle like that Rob ol new Yorker he had a good hart but bad attitude when he was younger but softened up a little when he got older he had a bar and a donut shop in New York and did a little time as an co the storys this man would tell me didnt know it at the time when I was young but they where life lessons good story man made me remember him
I WAS A 17 YEAR OLD KID WHEN I GOT INTO THE CAR BUSINESS AS WELL. I APPLIED HERE IN TAMPA, FL AT A LINCOLN MERCURY DEALERSHIP. NORTHGATE L/M WAS OWNED BY A OLD MAN FROM CHICAGO. HE LIKED THE WAY I CARRIED MYSELF WALKING ACROSS THE DEALER BACK TO MY CAR. I DATED A GIRL BACK IN THE DAY WHOSE DAD OWNED THE MAZDA DEALER AT THE TIME. HE CALLED ME UPSTAIRS IN THE OFFICE AND TOLD NE THE SAME THING. DONT WAISTE YOUR TIME WITH HER. I DONT EVER WANT TO HEAR YOUR AROUND HER. I HAD NO IDEA HOW HE KNEW I WAS SEEING HER. HE WOULD COME DOWN EVERY DAY AND WALK THE DEALERSHIP. SALES FLOOR, SERVICE DEPT. KNEW EVERYONE BY NAME. HELL OF A GUY, BUT HAD THE ORA ABOUT HIM. HE HAS PASSED AS WELL. MAN THIS EPISODE HIT HOME. WE ARE ABOUT THE SAME AGE. TODAY THE DEALER US CALLED PARKS LINCOLN. IT WAS MY FIRST DEALER JOB. THEN I WENT BACK 20 YEARS LATER. IT WAS MY LAST JOB. COMPLETE CIRCLE
Hey Rob, I've commented before on how I work at an ambulance manufacturing facility, and I've been able to get some pics of a one of one fully electric E450 that is the base of the future of our industry
And now I'll be telling stories about Rabbit. Legend. Forever. R.I.P.
Legend indeed
Gone way too soon
continue wheelin’ and dealin’ in paradise brother
Gonna be listening to Rabbit all week. RIP Rob, you touched countless lives through your stories.
Going to miss this fella. A great storyteller and lived an interesting life. RIP Rabbit.
I’ve never been the type to get upset over the passing of celebrities or people I have no relation to. But robs passing hit different. Rip and prayers for the family
Please let these videos stay up for the world to see. A true legend. Rest in peace Mr Rabbit 🙏 🇨🇦
Coming to rewatch some old rabbit stories after the news of his passing. R.I.P.
Story telling is an art and Rob was a master. Rest in Peace my friend.
Hard to believe you are gone brother.
Agreed
Didn't know who this dude was until RUclips recommended me his farewell video. Now I'm sad I didn't know about him sooner. You can tell his loss will be deeply felt. RIP.
Gone to the big car show in the sky. RIP Mr. Pitts, hope the rest of y'all enjoy this mans stories...
I think a guy named Chris Michaels got their truck...
I mean that's the best snow you can probably get tbh
Did they ever tip you for helping them?
@@AutoYoung nope but they were super chill, work didn't allow tips

One of a kind stud!
Race in peace.
Dam been avoiding robs videos all day and this just starts playing. Now I'm all down and shit..... rest easy brother.
Same
I’m not a car guy but I just saw the video about his passing.
Very sad. I hope he enjoyed the time he had here on earth.
Awesome story. Fat would be alright in my book. One of those guys that you definitely want as a friend, not an enemy!
Crazy story, it’s like when my Uncle was at court and asked me if I wanted to check out the Gold Club Trial. Crazy story from a member of the family talking about wacking folks in a club back in the 80’s. He either was looking straight me or thru me, but was intimidating.
I need to know who “fat” actually was lol. I’m invested 😂
Samesies
You painted such a vivid picture of him in my head. Great description and story, Rabbit!
RIP Rabbit, GOAT
"I'm gonna tell you guys a story.. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. ." ...you can hear a pin drop at that point. Great stories Rob!
Yeah buddy! Love Rabbit's stories.
This was the perfect Friday story. Hard honest work bridges gaps and can be appreciated by anyone
Those shady folks are the most honest. A lot of times they’re handy people to know.
Whenever Rob posts a new video I have a bad habit of hitting the like button before I watch it and I'm NEVER wrong or regret liking it
Yeah only because once you get into it, ya don't want to forget liking it hehe
his point that most of you missed is no matter how bad you are you can still be a decent person to your fellow man
Rest easy brother 🙏, true legend
He looks like Rascal Flatts 😂
Yet another great story Big Country Rabbit . I hope your taking good care of your mom and your self . God Bless Rob.
I have learned that whether you’re living a life of doing good or bad things, it is INTEGRITY that’s valued universally. It sounds like their trust in you was far more valuable than any car they allowed you to drive away with.
That "I put one through College and the other through a wall" line is from the movie Back to School. 1986. Said by Burt Young.
You know it's serious when he's called by his given name.
Reminds me of my grandfather. I love him to death , the description you gave could be him. H e taught me in 5 years , how to be a man. Not take everything everyone says to you to heart . Lol old man took the expression literally when it came to getting ppl to do anything ...it's like pulling teeth to get Timmy to pay up. Great story
Thank you for keeping the channel open. I didnt realize that there was a rabbit channel to watch. I now have so much more content to watch of one of the best auto storyteller to watch

Rip to the legend himself.. still finding new stories I haven’t heard from ol rabbit 🙏🏽💪🏽

There is another reason why people who dabbled in "Waste Management" relocated to the South, a sudden desire for self-preservation. This was the basis of the scariest encounter I had when I was a Volunteer Fire Chief during the 1990s.
What the hell you talking about
Come across you on Facebook telling your story. Great voice for comedy and stories
Another great morning with rabbits used cars. Keep them coming rob. Cant wait to find out about that big tv project you got coming!
Best used car salesman in heaven!
We've got so many stories in common. I was a little wider, did things Rabbit wouldn't, proving he was smarter but my boughs were a little bigger. They've shrunk a lot now that I'm getting old.
Funny, sounds like some of my relatives growing up. Mom always said, never ask what they do for a living.
The cover up always gets ya
"For nothing is secret, that SHALL NOT be made manifest; neither anything hid, that SHALL NOT be known and come abroad."
The fact his stories will remain on RUclips makes it a little less painful he's gone, it allows anyone to hear his voice and continue to hear it for the rest of time.
His story's well live on for ever , Rabbit. RIP..
RIP Fat, The Gem Dropping Gangster....s/o to The Rabbit, you never cease to amaze
RIP Rabbit
Now here's a story!!@ Gr8 as always ❤

Man what a voice. Dude was made for telling stories
The funny thing about that dealer insurance, I worked for a Ford dealership up until a couple weeks ago when they let me go. Im 19, and I was a salesman. Let that sink in.
Happy Friday Rabbit 🍻
The ending was perfect 😂 “that’s my lawyer calling”
Those OG's like that are like hens teeth. When i went to prison, my buddies mom sat me down and told me what to expect going into a federal prison. She had spent 10 yrs in there. They dont make them like they use to

God bless you Rob, missing you so much. Love you man. ❤❤👏👏🙏🙏💐💐🙏🙏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
Kind of sounds like he was shaping you up for his next right hand man and then old age kicked in…
My scariest story.
Walking home from gymnastics practice.
See the same silver Malibu with tinted windows and NO PLATES pass me four times not quite going slow; but not the speed limit either.
I dipped into a gas station, called my uncle because he’s retired and told
Him I’m scared please come pick k me up at the gas station.

How many people catch your references to rodney dangerfields "back to school" ? Love it!!
Shady Characters help make the world go round sometimes, he respected that hustle/drive.
Hey Rob, I've commented before on how I work at an ambulance manufacturing facility, and I've been able to get some pics of a one of one fully electric E450 that is the base of the future of our industry
Life isn’t fair man it’s like I lost a family member:( shit got me sad as fuck
