My brother's boss just bought one of these M300's a few months ago for his surveying business! He's spent about $30,000+ for it he said (bought extra stuff with it). He's only used it a handful of times so far, and just yesterday he was out flying it on a job site and someone SHOT IT OUT OF THE AIR! Totally destroyed it! Looks like it was hit with a 12ga slug.
Wow, I checked on the pricing and these beasts are not cheap! Like… The price of a decent used car! Of course, is still cheaper than hiring a full-sized helicopter maybe not even for 10 missions.
Great video. Straight to the point. One question: Any time frame on when the inspection & photography courses are coming? (I'm a student of the RE course) Thanks -
you probably dont give a shit but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my brother for the last couple of days xD
Wow, this drone and camera setup is amazing!!...def a future goal for me. @uavisuals Do you have any updates coming for your additional courses? I currently have and love the real estate course, looking forward to some more of your teaching and insight!!
Very good walkthrough! I am having some issues with mapping mission planning with the M300. Do I need to have drone connected to import kml for mission? Would be GREAT if you did a video on importing kml and setting up map mission. Thanks!
Do you need vto have drone on and connected to upload .kml for mission. I'm having issues with that. Flown the P4RTK for almost two years now and it appears the workflow is different. Would be great to watch a video on pre-flight planning. There are scores of videos showing the M300 in flight, what happens before that is my question. Thanks and aloha from Hawaii
Hi, great video. According To your experienxe at what distance do you advice to fly from power line or metallic bridge, with rtk correction versus without rtk correction ?
The RTK can get extremely close but I wouldn't risk it either system. Most companies have 'safe approach distances' which means you can not get within x meters from the assets (check with them?) Generally, I would keep around 4-5m away without RTK. Then again...lens technology is fantastic now there is no need to get that close.
@@UAVISUALS thanks for your answer. I just got the H20T on the matrice 300 😁 I am eager to test it out with the client. In RGB no problem thanks to its optical zoom capability. I am only concerned about the thermal imaging if I remain 5m away for instance
@@UAVISUALS love your videos I’m a licensed drone pilot here in America and rn starting off doing part time work but my goal is full time and to be able to live the awesome life style of a drone pilot.
Great intro to the app video. Very useful. Thanks.
Very good video audio clean n top man
This was a great video. Very informative and helpful. It will definitely help me fly this beast that we have hired.
Incredible video
Thanks dude. Really helpful straight to the point. You should do one on the P1
Great walkthrough. Thanks!

Good job that was impressive
great work, did you try to attach extra payload with m300 ? can you work with both payloads at the same time ?
Amazing! Just passed my US FAA UAS 107, Your channel is so very helpful, I want to get into inspections. Please help :)

what is the red/yellow with a # feature attached to the left side of the ALT box? I see it seems to stay related to altitude.
Any thoughts on m30t?
Does the craft need to be in the air to calibrate the centre of gravity?
