Interesting how subconsciously our minds look to something from our past based on images that look as if we might of been there from our childhood but actually came from false memories. Sorta like a Daja Vu that immediately strikes when we see something we remember from our youth.
I believe that these images are familiar to us because they resemble or are combinations of places that we have already seen, and that is why we see it in our dreams.
I miss being younger. Mainly because I didn't know anything about the world and its concepts. It's so weird to think of the unusual stuff my brain used to come up with when I didn't understand things. The first game I played was Half-Life 2 on the Orange box at age four. I remember clearly that my brain would weirdly mesh the loading screen for Episode 1 with Dog in it with a Portal Turret. My mind was emitting endless nonsense and imagination; I miss it.

I feel like the reasoning behind "Liminal spaces" is the positioning, lighting, and setting of the image it has to be dark or the light has to come from an oddly bright window and it has to come from something that you might have experienced in your childhood except empty sometimes dark and abadoned.. almost feeling familiar i dont know why but when i see closed down stores and look inside i get the same feeling
The familiarity and the eerie sense that you've been there is most likely because of a very interestingly similar place you've seen kind of like these, it gives you the idea that something is off.
Watched this while sick at 2 in the morning and honestly I feel calm and extremely unnerved at once. I’ve always been terrified of corners or doorways that led into darkness, as a kid I’d have a reoccurring dream of an invisible force picking me up and carrying me into those dark rooms to never be seen again, lost forever in darkness. This video brought back that fear but with an oddly comforting familiarity in reliving the sheer terror I felt as a kid. Love it!

I’m 23 years old currently and let me tell you, 1:01 hit me like a bus man. Place some old Dell school pc’s in there with some CRT television sets and a few of those cubical colored chairs we sat in as kids and the result would of been a time warp for my easily!
I moved out of my childhood home recently. I didn't feel anything until the very last box was loaded onto the truck. I stood there in the empty living room and imagined all the movies we watched; the difficult conversations we had; when the news broke that grandpa died; all the Christmas mornings. I walked into the dining room and it struck me - I never realized how loud furniture can be. You don't notice it until everything is gone. Suddenly the walls and floors of the room can speak to each other! And my bedroom, which I always complained was so small, looked so spacious, yet so small all at once. I took one final tour around the house, and when I left I felt like I was forgetting something. Yet I wasn't; everything was surly packed. I now know what that feeling was; it was the sensation of leaving a part of me behind. It's a part of me I can't pack into a box to ship to the new place. No, you can't take memories out of one room to put them into another; you just have to create new memories. Those memories - that part of me - will always be there, in that house. For me, at least. The new family will write over every room like it's a fresh piece of paper. Memories are a funny thing in that only you remember something in that particular way. For everyone else, it's a whole different experience, or just an empty room. Until it's filled with your own memories, that is. 🥲

Creepily nostalgic. Every time I see an image I recognize I stop my video to look at it, like it's somewhere in the back of my mind, waiting to be revealed and bring memories crashing back. The Minecraft music helps with that nostalgic feeling too, as I've played it since I was four. I'm supposed to be doing my history lesson right now, but I can't stop myself from staring at the pictures displayed on my screen. I get the creepy sensation from thinking to myself; "How does this person know my memories?". There is a point in time in which one day everything clicks and you become aware of yourself and others and you are mindful and everything and you. You are met with the real world forgetting what it was like to live in the good days as a child. We took it for granted and now its gone forever.

The pool is very clean and the water very much resembles the water in the first picture. There are windows on the top floor that let you look at the pool.

This feels like In walking through a closed-down section of a movie theatre. The lights are off except a few, you can see faint light from a door leading to the outside, and there’s nobody in sight.
I remember having a dream of me waking up in a dark room that soon opened up into a mall that was practically dark had it not been for the neon lights. I wandered around for a bit until I tripped and I fell on my face, where everything went dark. I looked up and I was inside a Kohl's store that was empty. I walked into the area with the changing rooms and all of a sudden, I hear someone yell excitedly "Here we go!" And all of a sudden, I'm sitting in a roller coaster car and I move slowly and then fast down a small hallway where the staff room would be until it got dark again. There's a Kohls near my new home and I visited with my parents and I found a changing room area similar to my dream and it led into a hallway where the staff room was at the end. Bare in mind, I had this dream when I was seven. The memories of that nightmare came back and I practically ran out.
