so checkpoints 1-5 are pretty much just u being pretty normal n shit, 6 is when u start to kinda start to just... fall apart tho. with 7 and 8 it gets worse (more obstacles, harder shit to overcome, things are starting to seem kinda wierd as fuck, etc) and with checkpoint 9 its liek u trying to still just be u but starting to falter. alot lul. with 10 with le lasers and shit and no gravity on some parts it becomes worse. ur just mentally falling apart. on stage 11 u get the last remnants of normality. on stage 11-2 theres no gravity again and by 11-4 ur just barely holding on. as soon as u get to endless mode tho... just nothing. only things from teh past and a gray sky. idk

I just love this song, I'm playing smash hit after 5 years, I played it when I was 12 and now I'm 17, and I was engulfed by my joy when I heard this. This zone's music is just perfect, as it's the first actual challenging zone in the game, and paired with a new player reaching this zone, it really does transform their thoughts about the game, from "smash hit is just a calm-slow-paced game" to "hey this is quite fun". Although more challenging zones are still to come after this, I still believe this is the best sound-track from the OST and does a great job at making a fast-paced zone well, fast-paced.
