Thank you very much for this useful and helpful video. I have two questions: What is the difference between EMF and SVG and which is better? When I paste images in EMF format the file size increases a lot, is there a way to reduce the file size? While keeping the high quality resolution ?
Here I explained a bit more about SVG and EMF: ruclips.net/video/tkvTJXpJ-j0/видео.html EMF is basically a better standard for Office documents and it might even allow you to edit the EMF inside the document. The file size increase will depend on how many object you have in your EMF file, but I don't know any way to reduce the EMF size.
I've never used Distiller before, but it looks like you can only use it as a virtual printer within Word. If that is the case, then you might again see some blurryness around the edges. Ultimately, you'll have to test if it gives you better results, than other virtual PDF printers. At least Adobe Acrobat doesn't seem to enhance the quality. So, if Distiller runs on the same settings, I don't expect any improvement.
Never edited a document on my phone and can't recommend it. It's just not the proper environment to edit a professional document and with that, you'll be losing a lot of functionality
@@LeonRenner thanks for the reply, yes Iam 100 % sure, also other people in my department don't have this option and in office pro plus 21 it is also not there. which version of word did you use in your video? I have: Microsoft® Word for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2404 Build 16.0.17531.20152) 64 Bit
@@LeonRenner then I check the word 2019, which I am downloading right now. If this doesn't work, may I come back to you to check your word version, if it is still installed like at the time the vidweo was made? you speak german right? I am from Austria.
I can't really start the document again at this point and I fear that if I copy paste it all into another document it will mess a lot with my formmating, is there any work arounds?
I don't know of any workaround. You could research if there is a better PDF printer, but in the end the image quality won't be as good as in the original images.
Unfortunately there is no proper solution I know. Maybe some PDF add-in will allow you to export a PDF in which the images have better quality but Word doesn't provide a good onboard tool.
if you're using non-vector images, then yes, they will always be blurry. It's just a matter of zooming. The mentioned settings are showing just the best you can do in Word.
If this video helped you, you could do me an awesome favor and destroy that like button 😍🙌 Thanks a lot!

It's actually f**king wild how bad Word is considering Microsoft is one of the leading tech companies in the world
to be fair, they do a lot of stuff very well :) But yeah, not sure why they still lower image quality...
thanks
You're welcome :9
Is it true that the best way to convert a Word file to a PDF while preserving the quality of the images inside the file is by using (Adobe distiller)?

high fidility option is not available in my MS word 2016. how can I solve it?
Since I don’t have Word 2016, I unfortunately can’t check the options there
These settings are not available in phone? What to do if we are working on I phone
Never edited a document on my phone and can't recommend it. It's just not the proper environment to edit a professional document and with that, you'll be losing a lot of functionality
I dont have the "compres pictures" option, when I open the "Tools" menu. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Edit: Very good video!
Sure that you are using MS Word for Windows?

@@josefresl9297 I think I used 2019 or 2021 in the video. But if you don’t have that option, I’m really not sure what the reason for that is

are TIFF files any better than JPEG or PNG files?
You'll have to test it, but if you file isn't a vector graphic, then I'm almost certain that you will lose quality when inserting it in Word
This can't be, there is no option to get good image quality in PDF from Word?? I am willing to pay, but how in the world is there no solution at all
Unfortunately there is no proper solution I know. Maybe some PDF add-in will allow you to export a PDF in which the images have better quality but Word doesn't provide a good onboard tool.
no difference.. the picture is still blurry

a bit of quality loss about 300000dpi damn not helpful sadly :D
Unfortunately there is no good way to keep high resolution on JPEG images :/
unfortunate
yep, it definitely is. Not sure why we can't have crisp images :D
