- 4 shocking true facts about Pixar’s Elemental movie. No. 1, you may not realize how rich Wade is. Besides living in a luxury penthouse, he also owns a bottled water brand called “Wade Water”, which can be found in Lightyear movie. No. 2, the end credits were supposed to reveal a “steam baby” of Wade and Ember. But the writers decided to save it for Elemental 2. No. 3, the fire people seems to experience the most racism in the city. Wade’s uncle makes fun of Ember’s accurate accent, water tries to kill fire on purpose, and the landlords will never accept them. And no. 4, Ember’s dad has the balls to turn a “magma grocery” into a birthday surprise for his angry customer. Because in reality, customer is The King.

Damn, the fire people don't deserve that. They're living beings, like them, and the most endangered. Water, earth and air can kill them, and they still think they're dangerous. They deserve better. At least they have their own part of the city.

The reason the fire people experience so much racism is because this movie was based off of the directors immigrant parents. This movie was supposed to highlight the struggles of growing up Korean in America. I loved this movie and has a lot of hidden details

I really liked this movie too. My parents were also immigrants but from Mexico. When I went to school in America I was treated differently because of my race. Ppl saw me differently and I was bullied at school because of my skin color. Seeing this movie made me feel understood

I got another fact for y'all. Did you know that Ember & Wade aren't the only fire & water couple in the movie? In Ember & Wade's date, specifically the drinking scene, right after Ember evaporates her drink, it will cut to another panel where it's zoomed out. If you would look at the rightmost side of this panel, you would see a fire and a water person together in one table.
I only saw a fire couple, no aquaflame couple.

You actually do have a point! In around 1:05:40 play time, the camera pans out and you do see a fire lady and a water gentleman on the very right.
There's also a fire and water couple at the end of the movie. I didn't see the couple you talked about, maybe they're the same people.

The monsters from monsters Inc evolved so much to the point where they went back to the roots of the entire world, the elements. Thats just my interpretation

Elemental could be the pre dinosaurs era were instead of unevolutioned bacterias were elements that thanks to wade ans ember later mix into multiple other things, like the "little alchemy" game. Since the elements themselfs were living being, in frozen 2(dont remember if frozen is in the pixar theory) it would make sense that water had memories. On Brave, Merida would be lead by ancient fire that were interpreted as souls(again, don't remember what the blue things were)
Moana too, in frozen 2 again... the big stone things, Ants, maybe the dirty mix with anothe being becoming animals in general or something.
Anyways this just became a new pixar theory block in my head and it somehow actually conects to the theory😅

certain touches make it clear that this is a very personal story for the writers of the movie and i really enjoy that, seeing them sharing their stories in a unique way like this
