3:00 You connected the positive of the under seat sub in this plug? Is it okay? Would it not overload that wire? I've watched so many installation of under seat subwoofer and usually, the positive is connected directly on the battery itself.

I agree that it's best practice to connect the positive directly to the battery, but the the "DOC" plug runs a 10 amp fuse (from factory) and the Pioneer TS-WX140DA is very efficient with a maximum draw of only 4.3 amps. I haven't had any issues with mine.
Also, here is an adapter that makes the job even easier. www.ebay.com.au/itm/175839037754

I only watched this video because it happen to pop up, but I've own 1 of these before. It wasn't powerful enough for my noisy 4wd, I ended up going a 12 inch in a slim sealed box and it sounds unreal, but when I'm driving my noisy car still over powers the sub. For a normal vehicle I think 2 of these Pioneers would be perfect, 1 under each seat.

Do you get the warning and signal sound coming through the amplifier

No, not that I can tell. I could be wrong but I believe those sounds come from the centre speaker that's in the middle of the dash.
