Is that pump under warranty? & that's not good having all that down time more money lost I personally don't like anything new on the newer diesels trucks , & tractors ! The regens def , & so on . The only new equipment I have bought is a 2018 M-F 1526 4x4 compact with a fel on it that I bought brand new , & it's a 25 HP diesel that doesn't have any of the emissions requirements or needs a regen or def because it's rated under 25 HP , I also have a 1959 M-F 50 4 cylinder gasoline , & a 1999 C3500 dually with a 350 gasoline engine with only 52,000 miles on it , & a Heil dump bed 2 to 3 yard , & is plow equipped . I bought all this equipment to start a part time business when I retired after driving company trucks for 44 years straight trucks , Tractor trailer box trailers , & reefers , When I saw the operating cost , & insurance I changed my mind but I still have the equipment , But only use it on my property so it doesn't get used much but it still gets used , But I don't regret buying any of it , & I also have a trailer everything was paid for when I bought it , & it has turned out that it has saved me money having it rather than paying someone else .I hope your fortunes take a turn for the better in the new year ! & your business turns very profitable .

@@WorldsOkayestFarmer Insurance mostly ! & the liability , seems like in this area people are to sue happy , & they don't want to be held to a contract ! If I were to do full time then yes I could make money doing it ? But like I said I would only want to do it part time , & there is the cost of permits , licencing fees , & I live in Northern Va. & there is allot competition , I use to do our private road maintain it grade it , snow removal , & there are 7 other houses on are road , & some so called neighbors never even paid for the work I would do , Or couldn't even say thank you ! & moved without ever paying me , & I got tired of going around asking people to pay me even though there were a few who would always pay me on time , & try & tip me extra ! But I would only charge them what they owed because that was only fair for the ones who never paid ! So I guess it's mostly I don't want to have to deal with people anymore . The only other thing I might ad is I was planing to do as a business was deliver gravel , soil , mulch , & grade gravel driveways , & private roads as well as snow removal local only ( residential ) But I'm happily retired now & enjoying the short side of life now , & doing things at my own pace ! So they sent a tech to the house to program it to mobile mode and achieved that and works how they have it setup but it is not how it should be for standard pto usage. You have to be moving to engage the pto in mobile or park with the e brake on to engage stationary. Such a pain i guess the way around it is the cheaper electric pump system. We just put the bed up turn off the pto and pull the gate. I wish it worked how they should would be a great truck other than that

Hopefully this is helpful and sorry you had the trouble. Also, some of the upfitters don't know that the PTO has to be programmed for a different idle RPM, most people just go off of the Ford specs but that will not work.
    1. PTO driving operating conditions
    a. The PTO operates in gear, but not Drive - - only L1,L2,L3
As such, there are speed limits to the vehicle
    b. 0-5mph no PTO, (because torque converter isn’t locked-up)
    c. 5-58mph PTO available at speed depending on L1,L2,L3 position*
    d. Reverse - No PTO
    e. Neutral - No PTO

    * if brake pedal is engaged in motion, PTO will disengage.
