Discover the iconic Hangzhou Regent International Apartments in the heart of Qianjiang Century City, Hangzhou. Renowned for its distinctive S-shaped silhouette, this towering complex soars to 206 meters, featuring 36 to 39 floors of modern living spaces. Spanning an impressive 260,000 square meters, it stands as one of the largest and most luxurious apartment buildings in China.
Initially conceived as a prestigious six-star hotel, Hangzhou Regent now opens its doors to a diverse community of residents. From ambitious young professionals to renowned internet celebrities and influential online personalities, commonly known as 'Hang Piao,' the complex is a vibrant hub for the city's most dynamic individuals. With population estimates ranging from 10,000 to 22,000, it’s a testament to its popularity and grandeur, debunking previous exaggerated claims of 30,000 residents.
Step inside and experience a seamless blend of opulence and functionality. The grand lobby and communal areas, designed in partnership with the esteemed American design firm HBA, exude a sense of luxury while offering practical living solutions. Original duplex apartments have been thoughtfully converted into various smaller units to meet the high rental demand, without sacrificing the essence of upscale living.
Residents can enjoy an array of in-house amenities that cater to convenience and lifestyle needs. From an extensive food court and refreshing swimming pools to essential services like barber shops, nail salons, supermarkets, and internet cafes, everything is within reach, promoting a self-sufficient lifestyle.
Rental options at Hangzhou Regent are diverse, with cozy, windowless apartments starting at approximately 1,500 RMB ($220) per month, to expansive units with balconies reaching upwards of 4,000 RMB ($550) per month. This variety ensures that whether you’re seeking affordability or luxury, there’s a place for you here. The swift rental pace further underscores the demand for these coveted units.
Hangzhou Regent International Apartments isn't merely a place to live; it's a landmark of urban evolution and architectural brilliance, redefining the concept of city living. Explore the life that awaits you at Hangzhou Regent-where luxury meets convenience in the skyline of Hangzhou.

Pray that there is never a fire in that building. It would be very difficult to evacuate that many people in a smoke-filled apartment complex. Where are the fire escapes located? I hope the fire extinguishing hose system has been tested because there have been cases in China where they didn't work at all, apparently due to lack of water pressure to reach higher floors.

You don’t have to worry about them. Too smart for that to happen. That’s why we don’t have one. We can’t even fix our economic problems. That place was erected in 2013 and it’s worth more than the railway Elon was wanting to build. We got lazy. That building is only getting better.

Pause for a moment and think again. In China, nothing is quite as it seems (or as it is advertised to the public, especially abroad). So I would not be surprised, that this building is actually a huge desaster waiting to happen.
