WoW. This a wonderfully tight episode that I had never seen elsewhere and which explains so much in setting the scene for the later episodes. Thank you very much for uploading it
In the closing scene where James looks at what I imagine was a family portrait was very meaningful. The way things are going he may have to move in with the Phillpotts.
@@FoogouFilms Who knows, he may have to lay off Sutton? Will he remain single? He's bound to have a few flirtations during this series, but I somehow doubt it will end in anything permanent.
@@davidfogarty2220 I've done my best to avoid seeing too much of what might happen while processing, choosing thumbnails and uploading each episode, but inevitably have got kind of the gist of what will happen. Should be interesting.
He could move in with Sutton😊 Sutton wouldn't need to be walking around too much, and James would still have his hot coffee because that's all he seems to ask him for. Then he could keep the stables because horses are all that matter.
Yes. With that 20 TU registration plate, I wouldn't be surprised it was a press car owned by Rolls Royce, and used in the programme for promotional purposes.
What does TU stand for please? It should be JH 1. Also he's schlepping from Yorkshire and London a lot. Gas must have been cheap because that engine must be huge 😊

Richard Vernon is a fantastic actor 👍🇬🇧
Series four turns out to be the best I think.
A tricky one. Could be, yes.
Always delighted to see Richard Vernon. Many thanks for posting.
One of our best actors, sensational no matter the character/role.
We’re rooting for you Hadleigh!
Series 1 and 4 were my favourites. Many thanks.
Cheers.
WOW - one of the best episodes so far. Can't wait for next Friday!!! Thank you, FF.
Excellent episode. Interesting how it reflected the financial straits this country was going through during the mid to late seventies.
Yes, I was in the midst of it! Just bought my first house, Elvis died and mortgage interest rates went up to (I think) 16% - gulp!!
The layout of the house has changed yet again.

Thanks for your comment.

Yes, perhaps moving into a modest lodge on the estate, similar "To The Manor Born"! Very much skating on thin ice for the rest of the series

Looks like a very different house to the previous series. At least Jennifer is nowhere to be seen.
Yes, entirely different. Much older looking and a more believable old estate house. / Seems likely Jennifer will stay gone.
Using the older part of the house i suppose
Rolls Royce Corniche ??

42:13 - "Lousy sense of timing" and what sounds like a fart!
Ha, you're right. Dealt by Hadleigh himself. Keeping it real! Thanks for that.
@@FoogouFilms Brilliant! Thanks for these uploads!
