splendid as always. the con on mcclusky was one of the oldest going back to the 1850s and the famed jem the penman.put simply you obtain your victims signature on a check of nominal value this case 20 quid then use it to steal 15000.during ww1 officers in the renches were sent letters and photos of attractive girls begging for a picture or autograph.theyd send it return home on leave and find their bank account emptied! most crime thrillers post ww1 included the scam in some of their stories .its so simple and is still in use today even without checks! the phone call from your bank claiming your details have been stolen! you repeat them give your password and your account is emptied!its a simple but effective con!
