How many of y’all were leaning with the video? 🙋🏻♂️ lol
🙋♂️
I did for sure. Different watching someone else than myself riding, I need to ride the Dragon again ,been a few years since I did it, on a Road Glide,😮😮
Leaning to prepare myself for riding it this weekend. :) How'd you get such good quality sound? Helmet mic? I just get too much buffeting with with camera mics.
Haha guilty not all the time but caught myself doing so.
You know you can trust your passenger if you see her leaning with this video😁
Pure sound videos are the BEST, no music, all engine/exhaust. That’s def the way to go.
Did ever take it out of second? 😂😂😂
Never got above 3rd, lol
This video gives me road rage because of how slow everyone is going.
FACTS
150 hp build but riding like it’s a Sunday morning…. Such a disservice to an epic build and a legendary road.
I really enjoy your normal content man but this video just some how felt right , pov , lovely roads and views and an element of just calm , really enjoyed the vid awesome 👍
Thanks Gavin, glad you enjoyed it!
Felt like Driving Miss Daisy 😅 you need to rip it
im glad to see the person in front of you is riding their ride and not trying to keep up with the pack.
Agreed!
1000% agree. Ride your ride
I used to manage a private company in nearby Hickory, NC. I would ride the tail of the Dragon on a weekly basis on my CVO Street glide. Awesome, and addictive experience
Very addictive!
It’s been quite a while since your last “throttle therapy” video. Good stuff.
Definitely been a bit!
Love videos like this! No words, just the sound of the bike… great to play on the tv in the garage while tinkering with the bikes.
The bike sounds awesome!
If you haven’t already, check out the Back of the Dragon, between Marion and Tazwell VA. A longer ride and alot less traffic.
Goldzilla sounds sooooo angry! Like a mean pitbull on a leash, just waiting to hear that one command... "SIC'EM BOY!"
Motorcycle ASMR love it right as I'm going to sleep
Reminds me of our “Nasho Run” here in Sydney Australia
Ours is 36km (22miles) not sure how many corners but there’s heaps
It starts at loftus and goes through the royal national park via Sir Bertram Stevens Drive and then onto Lady wakehurst drive and finishes at Bald hill look out, I tried to post up a link in the comments but it disappeared
thanks block. i needed this. please do more of these.
That was awesome! Ive never seen the entire tail of the dragon run. So cool! Thank you!
Thanks for watching! 👊🏼
Looks tough to ride a bike with that much power when there is so much traffic. Bike sounds amazing !!
Definitely hard to keep it wrangled 🥲 lol
😂😂😂
I’m new to riding and I’m using this for my curvy roads that I ride on. I’ve yet to ride on a freeway. In Phoenix it’s laid out like a big grid. If you travel outside that grid you run into some old desert curvy roads
AZ definitely has some nice routes within riding distance of Phoenix! Jerome to Prescott is an amazing ride.
Always good to see your back yard from someone elses perspective. Great audio and video brother. Should have stopped and enjoyed that Chilhowee Lake water. Good clear, cold mountain water.
Nothing like a 15mph cruise through the gap, holding up traffic, while making fart noise with your bike.
Thanks for the comment and watching 😊
We get it, your parents beat you and now you're mad at the world
People who end up on moto madness should watch this video to see how to ride safely around twistys and not wipe out 💯👌🏾
What a blast! Thanks for posting this gem.
Thanks for watching!
Nice ride, bike sounds awesome! Ride safe! 🏍
LOL Darn thing is hardly off idle! Awesome bike, nice ride, but kinda like driving a Ferrari through a subdivision.
Great analogy, so accurate 😂
Little leisurely cruise. Early morning, late evening, in the middle of the week seems to be the best time for a un interrupted run.
People in Europe be like: that's a normal road.🤷😅
Great video. 😊
except this whole video was filmed in enough time to go from one coast of Europe to another 😂
Music to my ears. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Very nice , you can sure tell that the motor wants to eat but just to many twisting turns . sounds excellent , stay safe good riding !
I've been down that road so many times. It's just so much fun when it isn't full of cars
Definitely have to go back when there's less traffic!
@@BlockheadMoto week days, when normal people are at work
They’re all behind them.
Finally a video worth watching!!!
😂
Jk, but seriously, I actually love POV ride videos, especially when you can’t ride, f-ing snow. Goldzilla, or 🐐zilla, sounding so good today. Keep living the dream.
Had me in the first half 😂 thanks for watching!
Just rode the Dragon for my first time last weekend! What an amazing ride!
Damn. Beautiful scenery.
23 minutes long 95% curve i wasn't expecting that definitely going to add this to my bucket list love the videos
Thanks for watching, definitely a great add to the bucket list!
I got asked today. “Is it pretty or just technical?” I said yeah it’s pretty like I been there
Now let’s do a grom trip!!!!!
Leggooooo!
Not only am I leaning with the curves, at 10:30 I even tried to get a second look at that green car. LOL
Lol fully immersed 😂
Nice ride and a killer soundtrack!!!
Now this is what I call ASMR
What would the original exhaust be like on this bike? Can you make a silent but fast bike? Make a stealth bomber..😂
It’s sound like a sewing machine 🧵
Cool ride!
That beast sounds so wild and snarly I keep thinking there’s something wrong with it
Thanks. I enjoyed the video. There is nothing wrong with cruising and enjoying the ride. Especially if it’s the first time and you don’t know the road. All these highway Rambo’s commenting on here would be the first ones eating the pavement or off in a ditch.
That looks super duper fun.
I don't know about leaning with the bike but I could feel my hands cramping up right along with yours watching all the throttle work and clutch grabs, looks like fun though and I'd love to get there sometime to run it on my Harley!
Definitely a hand workout!
A DCT gearbox would be perfect for that ride.
so cool.
Supermotos handle those curves the best. The Ozarks are much more fun with their sweeping curves for that big bore. Plan a trip there and let it rip.
This is one of the best POV of the Dragon. Good Job filming.
We hit some longer sweepers on some other routes that were great for Goldzilla, really was able to open er' up. Thanks for watching Mojo!
Yea the cherahala skyway I thought was more fun. I have a 2016 road glide with a built 110” able to open it up more through the longer turns and less traffic. Dragon was fun though.
That sweet Harley Davison sound💪🏽
🤘🏼
Could listen to them pipes all day! Look pretty epic as well
Man, I'm hoping to do a 2 Lane Tuesday ride on the Tail of the Dragon someday. Great ride video. Hope to see y'all at the Stubborn American rally at the end of September!
That looks like a nice road! Expected it to be more hairpin-like, but the danger does make more sense this way. Just straight enough to get overly confident before being catapulted off of your bike.
Also, great timing of this video. 7 days until I can go pick up my new (well, second hand, but new to me) 2012 road king classic! Great vid to get amped up on! Can't wait to hear the Ptt Ptt of my own! 😁
I know how you feel! I just picked up my new to me 2004 Road King Classic. I've been dreaming of this bike for years! I'm so stoked!!! Enjoy the bike, brother!
@@richardanderson4916 Sweet! You too, many safe rides, and thanks, can't wait until Friday! 😁
Blockhead that bike sounds awesome 👍 better than my HAMMER 1275 SPORTSTER,WOW
How are those hands feeling? On and off the throttle, and constantly changing gears. Shaking out those hands towards the end. Hands are getting a workout. LOL
Such a hand workout! Get your potassium in before this ride, haha
headin' there in a couple weeks 🤘
Have fun! Go during the week if you're able, less traffic
Just found out about this channel on Google news. Definitely subscribing!!
awesome - great you are innovating for the types of vids you are posting as well
Thanks!
I JUST GOT HOME ON MY NEW BIKE
My 4th motorcycle,I am now the proud owner of a 2001 Suzuki Bandit S 600cc
couple weeks ago I was told that my Kawasaki Vulcan 800 can't be fixed anymore 😭
F in the chat for my Vulcan
Gotta have to sell it for parts idk what to do
But last Monday test rode this Bandit, only bike I like from another category, did my moto school on one, Wednesday I went to the bank got a credit and today Friday 1st of September I bought it 😁 and it was a pretty good deal , 1500 € and it's in very good condition,I can even sell it for more
In about 2 years gotta get a proper cruiser
Just rode back to Orlando from the dragon yesterday. Sucks to be home
Man goldzilla sounds absolutely amazing!!!
Heaven to my ears ❤😍
rode the Tail of the Dragon many times, i just traded my Ultra Classic in for a Tri Glide. the wife and i have plans to ride Tail in October on the Tri Glide.
good therapy
Man I want to ride that one day
Goldzilla sounds like a jet bike 🤯 I love how it sounds 🤤
I’ve done deals gap 3 times now, think my fastest time through it was just under 11 minutes, on a HD Dyna
Now I don’t have to go. I just rode on the lid 😂😂 🤘🏽
I had to take a shower after listening to that filthy exhaust.
😂
Man I've never heard this bike thru anything besides my phone, currently thru a Bluetooth speaker, and my God does it sound good
What a great primer for the weekend in the Smokies throughout the video I keep asking where are you looking and where is the tires pointed loved the sound 🇺🇸🐾🍻
Even if the video was 3 hours long, Id still watch and enjoy it.
I got a 12 Street Glide that i did a 124 kit on, it has 131 HP and 147 ft lbs of torqe and we rode from kansas to do the tail of the dragon and i should have taken my floor boards off cause the very first corner and every corner after that i was dragging both sides, i would have had more fun on a stock 883.
Will come back to this January when theres a foot of snow on the ground :)
Hi 👋, Bike sounds great, it looks like you have been doing doughnuts, the last part of your park up, 😂 , stay safe, thank you for sharing , Phil from the moulin,
Next time someone asks "wadya mean it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow?" I'm going to show them this video 😅
It's too bad too cuz the few times it got revved above 2k sounded absolutely orgasmic.
Too true! Goldzilla really doesn't like being in lower rpms like this. This ride would be a blast on a Grom!
Damn I was just up there a couple weeks ago
My new main video for stretching my hip flexors!
only sound effect missing is you giggling your head off from taking this awesome bike through these bends
I had to stop myself a few times, but wanted clean audio, haha
God I absolutely wish I could experience this for myself
Even with 2 jobs I couldn't make it happen and before anyone says it yes I know I am a pathetic person and I don't care but as much as I would love to have one. I have my two kids to raise that's all I need but it would be nice.
I can't believe all the photographers were Not out there... they are ALWAYS there
I think we passed 3 or so, photos weren’t that great bc left side of bike 😅 haha
I finally understand what ASMR is
😂
@BlockheadMoto I have a video going through the tail and all you hear is motor and scraping sounds. Lol
Headed up in a couple weeks at my wife's request. So she can get the Tshirt. This video set her mind at ease. She said "shit we got this".... What day of the week and time of day please.
Lol glad it helped put her at ease. It’s not bad at all, just go at your own pace and ride your own ride. We went on a weekend so there was a lot of traffic. I’d recommend going during the week 👍🏼
Had to watch this on 2x 🥱
That just seemed so slow. Maybe when I get old I'll check it out. Looks like a good place to ride a Grom.
First time ever on the Dragon, so we were getting to know the road. Definitely worth the visit, a Grom would be awesome on it!
Like a Grey Hound chained in the back yard....Goldie on the 🐉....
ya riding like my Nana!!
Your nana sounds awesome 😊
Are u still running the thunder max? Can we get a recap video on it? How you like it? Any new things you have learned about it? I just ordered one for my 22 FXLRS
Quick question- Hand gestures/shaking used for editing points? Or are the bars uncomfortable?
Was shaking them out, that much shifting back and forth and on / off throttle is a workout 😤
Tell them sport bikes to come get some lol also how did u flip your mirrors I have a 22 street bob wanna flip mine
How's that clutch wrist. Feeling it
Definitely a workout!
I just put 14" apes on my 17 Street Glide b4 moving up here... these mountain roads are a workout !!!
For sure a workout! Had to shakeout the hands a few times, lol
Bike sounds sick! Show us that custom exhaust already!
Goldzilla sounds awesome! Which exhaust are you currently using?
Thanks Andre! Exhaust is currently a prototype we've been working on, which we'll be announcing very soon!
Horsepower science, nice! Can't wait to see it@@BlockheadMoto
Which exhaust are you running now? Still the Sawicki?
No, prototype exhaust
EPIC!
Wait a minute. The horsepower numbers are higher than when you put the new heads on. Is this gain from your new exhaust?
🤫
Hp don't mean a thing if torque ain't there to swing.
How much torque is enough to “swing?”
@BlockheadMoto I mean . We all know Goldzilla is swinging for the fences. And walks around with a big Ole bat. But in the hills and curves do you get to that point where torque falls off to be replaced by HP? -hope I'm asking that right.
@@adventuresofkeyfob9849 Torque starts at ~140ft lb at 2k rpms, so it's pretty much on the entire rev range / powerband. Horsepower overtakes it at about 5200rpm.
Thats what kills me Living up here now.... us FLORIDA FLATLANDERS just aint used to all the Blind curves
What cam do you have?

What model harley is this it'd pissing me off that I can't remember 😂
Low Rider S with an ST fairing and chopped bags added
What u use to record the sound without wind?

Oh I thought different set up like mic outside the helmet or something lol @@BlockheadMoto
Why do you rev? When you change gears
Rev matching
@@BlockheadMoto how’ dose that work
