Spa Valley Railway Load-Ex, 02/08/15

Perhaps one of the biggest highlights of the Spa Valley Railway's 2015 Summer Diesel Gala was the 'Load-Ex' train towards the end of play on Sunday 2nd August. Starting from Tunbridge Wells West as the 17:10 to Eridge, visiting class 20 D8098, 37254, visiting class 25 D7612, visiting class 14 D9539 and 73140 are all seen powering away from Pokehill Farm Crossing after a brief stop.
Lavender Line based DEMU 1133 working with 1317 are then seen passing by, heading for Tunbridge Wells West.
Finally and the final part of the 'Load-Ex', D8098 is seen powering through High Rocks hauling the Queen Mary Brakevan, six coaches, 73140, D9539, D7612 and 37254, forming the 18:05 service from Eridge to Tunbridge Wells West.

That's a pretty substantial load for, a 1000 hp loco. Nice sound from the DEMUs too.

AndreiTupolev Pretty much on full power from Pokehill Farm Crossing all the way up to Tunbridge Wells. Sounded good towing the lot, the video just doesn't do it justice.
