Gong Yoo got me the second I saw him
in the Squid Game - while at the same time made me ashamed why I don’t watch shows from all around the world. His older tv series Coffee Prince … oh my, that was an unexpected heart ache there. But yes, thanks to him and the lovely k-drama shows (and from around the globe) keep me going as well! (Also you have to watch ‘a man a woman’ with Gong Yoo … besides the steamyyy scenes, it is soo good, broke my heart into pieces. Saving the Silent Sea for the rest of the long year! 🥳)
LMAO YESS GIRL I'M SO GLAD YOU GOT IN TO KDRAMAS!!! gong yoo is definitely an absolutely amazing actor. train to busan is a really popular zombie film that he's in and i personally recommend the film that he's in called "Silenced" or also known as "The Crucible". it might not be your cup of tea, but it's probably the only film that has impacted me and really spooked me in a way that no other film has (probably doesn't sound like the most thrilling safe experience lol) but it is based on true events, and the child actors in it as well just made it seem so real. it is a jaw-dropping, moving film that you never really forget about. i've never felt so much emotions from a movie and sometimes i feel like watching it a second time but i know i'd just feel it harder the second time around. gong yoo read the original novel version when he was in the military, and he was so touched by it he was avid into making it into a film. the movie brought recognition to the original case and this in turn made actual south korean laws change. aside from his good looks and talent he is an inspiration truly. i will warn that the whole movie is a giant trigger warning though.

K Dramas are amazing and totally my guilty pleasure! there are so many too on netflix, i watched one and next thing my home page was like 99.9% k dramas i’ve never heard of before haha! yes about the love and the yearning being drawn out too it’s the best. my recent faves and last watched were hometown cha cha cha, it’s okay to not be okay (LOVED IT) and inheritors. if you love gong yoo you need to watch coffee prince! he was a such a baby in it too it’s wild

This video really touched me. All day today I was trying to get the courage to opt out of an event I have this week. Whenever I opt out, I hear comments about me not going out etc. when the truth is, I opt out for my own mental health. I’m just happy to hear that others may feel the same way.

I really agree with you. I've felt really manipulated and bullied by everyone around me, my government and media the last couple of years to do things or not do things - simultaneously pushing me to act as if nothing is happening and then paradoxically pulling me back and restricting me. Very mixed messages but the common theme has been how others are trying to control my life and how everyone wants me to act a certain way for THEIR benefit or agenda. It's really refreshing and I think sound advice from you to say that we each need to listen to ourselves and go at our own pace.

I am just a follower of yours, maybe I'm not even existing (I promise, I do), and I live on the other half of the planet, but let me tell you about my story with this covid thing. I am not vaccinated, and I have hashimoto, but I went through the first wave I think in 2020, because I made an antibody blood test, and it showed, that my body has met the virus at least once before. And, one month before now, my boyfriend, who was also unvaccinated, cought the rona. In december. He had no smell and taste, but other than that, nothing. We were kissing, ect, and I could not catch it. I felt not a single headache. I made an atibody test again, and the amount of antibodies were the same as 1 year before (on a very low number)....I don't understand this whole thing, I would just like you to maybe think about your journeys, travels...maybe next time, you should not cancel them.
