What an AMAZING tool - custom shapes, custom wrinkles, as easy as pressing a button to send over, pressing another button to choose your expression, and another button to send it all back, and have it bake, update, and blend seamlessly...tasks that used to take months of set up and execution literally take me hours now. And not boring hours, FUN sculpting hours! Complete game changer!!!
This is so awesome, and the automation let's you really focus on the creative design process. I really hope this will find it's way to full body workflows as well!👏Once again great work and like @MichaelPavlovich says a total game changer!
So currently the license for Indie is $150 and $745 for non Indie. There is a license type selection after dropdown arrow on the purchase page. Reallusion should probably update the way to select showing two license types and the cost at the same time.
I expect because of how expensive it was to develop. It’s a niche tool that would have taken a team of experienced software engineers a year, possibly multiple years, working many many hours each week, each in exchange for salaries. They would have needed to rent offices, pay for heating and other utilities, plus supervisors, computers, testing, servers etc. And the market for this kind of thing is ultimately limited to other companies, animation professionals, freelance artists, hobbyists and students. Which is not a huge pool of potential customers in the grand scheme of things. So in order not to lose money, they’ve had to come up with a price they calculate will allow them to make back their budget, and hopefully turn a profit.
@@joa1401 i respect that, i pressed the link and the commercial business link came up for the price of of over a $1000, but then noticed the "indie" purchase price which is half price at the mo. for $150 which is cool
It's not expensive. It is $150 during the into period for an indi license; 300 after the intro period is over. Indi comes with everything, just with the stipulation that annual rev is below $100,000. The $3000 is for a normal license.
This should be standard in the software. It's so dishonest to charge extra for essential character creation functionality like this. I know of no other software that does stuff like this. You get the software, and you have ALL the tools. You don't get charged separately for different packages.
How to implement expressions in Unreal? :-) They have Metahuman parameters and expressions but I guess you can't make em with non metahuman custom models.
Hi @ErnieZ3D, ZBrush Face Tools requires CC base mesh. Or you can use Headshot2 mesh workflow to convert your mesh to CC Topology for facial rig. www.reallusion.com/character-creator/headshot/#mesh-mode

It says that connection is not possible with ZBrush, but ZBrush pose is connected, so why doesn't it work? I wonder if it's because it's a trial version.
I purchased genuine CC. "Can't find ZBrush. Please ensure that ZBrush is installed correctly for the Face Tools." An error appears like this, but it is possible to work on poses and bodies with ZBrush. What's the problem?

FaceTools, Headshot and many more, everything as a paid plugins. I wanted to buy CC4, but It feels like an empty game with every quest as a DLC. Definitely don't like that.
yet again, another plugin that I have to pay for that should have just been an update to the software.. not only that its 150 for indie and 1500 for everyone else???? You must be joking...... Im done
quick clarification: you’re only not indie if you’re a studio making over $100,000 a year. if you are not a team making over $100,000 a year, then you pay the lower price. so essentially it’s around $350 for individuals
@@joa1401 it still should be an upgrade to the entire software wuite I bought and not yet another paid plugin I have to buy. Im sick of the only upgrades I get to the software I bought being the apgrade that allows me to buy yet another paid plugin. Thats not an upgrade or update.

In addition to being a tool with incredible power, it is extremely easy to use. Great job!!
It's a good tool, very timely. I'll include it in my workflow.
Wow that looks super realistic, what a powerful combination for those who love sculpting in Zbrush
Amazing! Glad I jumped on this tool set early on, because the features are getting wild!
Thanks, looks fun to watching. Work hard and pay smart.
omg it's so expensive , but some how worth it
This is really crazy, just purchased recently. Can't wait to dive into it!
I'm a reallusion fan... this is another great tool that aligns with your strengths in character creation, animation and expression enhancements
Excellent innovation as usual!
The level of skin details is another thing
Am just impressed

I can’t believe you guys did this, great job, Reallusion!
We need this for the entire mesh not just the face,

Very good! Thx for sharing.
Great!
Wooooooooooooow😮
This! But, Blender instead of Zbrush. Please.
Muito obrigado pelo tutorial 😊😊😊😊
Awesome. 🎉
very cool, but why so expensive?

I was thinking the same thing! It's a plugin that costs more than base program. Crazy!

@@jjones1032 Confirmed - I bought the Indie version for $150 you can click the dropdown to switch. For some reason it shows the high price first.

Would be nice to have it for blender too as z brush is £42.00 a month

Also add a tutorial on correcting the eye reflections on Unreal Engine.
can you use custom topology for this, or do you need to use the base mesh topology?

Yeah, selection is a bit messy. It’s a bit hard to understand what plugins are needed etc. Seems like CC is just an empty shell itself.
