I totally agree with you about the excitement in researching militaria. I also research pieces in my collection as much as possible. I am often just as excited with unexpected successes, so I too know the feeling. Doing the research is, indeed, as much fun as collecting. And, as always, your videos sharing your experiences are much appreciated. Thanks again!
As a Minnesotan this one is very cool. What a wonderful grouping! I try and go to Fort Snelling National Cemetary every memorial day, I might have to pay him a visit!
I was super excited to see this video get posted. I knew something special was in store and it did not disappoint. What an amazing grouping! That uniform is super cool, so much going for it. Excellent job with the research and putting all the pieces together. I bet Mr. Daniels never would have imagined his story being discovered and retold all these years later. Great job honoring this veteran and preserving our US history. 🇺🇸🪖💜
Thank you. I absolutely love researching. I hope I can find more info about him. Thanks for always watching my videos, commenting and supporting my channel. I appreciate it.
awesome grouping!!!! did you look at the tunic closely to see if the CIB had once been on it? who knows, maybe it got taken off to clean the tunic and never got put back on. maybe mr danniels got awarded the CIB while wearing the uniform and stuck it in his pocket to put on later, forgot about it, and put it away and never got it out again. awesome info! sounds like the artifacts found their way to the proper steward jonboy! wish i had that kind of in depth info on some of mine. hell, wish i had it for all of mine lol.
Buenas piezas de colección 👌 Dios te bendiga 🙏
Thanks Alex

Most males prior to WW2 only went eight years of school if they were needed to work around the house... Beautiful Uniform
That's true. Thanks for watching
Great video Jonathan!
Thank you
Those caps with the early white and green armored branch colors are fairly scarce.
Thanks for the info. I didn't know that.

You’ll have the entire 9th armored division one day lol
Not quite all. But hopefully alot more than I currently have. Lol
Does your paperwork or research say anything about his bronze star medal?
Unfortunately not. Hopefully I can find some more information.
Guys who qualified for the CIB could later apply for a Bronze Star. @@JonBoyMilitaria
Would love to watch this video unfortunately the picture quality is bad. It only lets me select 360p on both my phone and my Tv.
I may have to reupload it
@@JonBoyMilitaria just tried again and it appears to be normal now. As it lets me select 1080p now. Wonder if it has something with RUclips.
Something weird happened I guess. Glad to know it is good now. Thanks for letting me know.
