Always loved Impalas, not every generation but most and I think if done right a new generation would do well as not everyone wants SUVs or Trucks
I think the Sedan will make a comeback, people will get tired of SUV's. I inharited an impala and it's nice to drive a car again for a change. I still like my truck but the sedan has it's advantages.

I own a 2015 impala. Love the car, and it has been trouble free. I would prefer rear wheel drive, but that probably won't happen. My only complaint is the clunky front suspension over bumps. On the highway it rides really smoothly.
If the impala looks like that last Impala, I’m in, I will forget about buying a new Mustang or Corvette come on Chevrolet make it happen

Bring back the coke bottle styling of the 1965 and 1966 Impala in a modern day style in a 2 door. 1965 was the best year for the Impala ever with more than 1 million Chevy Impalas manufactured. Chevy needs to do that again.

Don’t matter if it can catch an hellcat though who really needs that much power unless you plan on racing making money but you’ll get smoked and still have to upgrade.
