2024 Police Officers Memorial Ceremony

Every first Thursday of May, police officers, sheriffs deputies, and other law enforcement officers from across the state come to the Police Officer Memorial located on the west lawn of the State Capitol.
They do this to honor Illinois' bravest who gave their lives in the line of duty the previous yet, and others who are added from years past.
Thank you to those who sacrificed all for people they didn't even know, and Bless the families of the fallen.
