@@Insurgent1999fair but i think theres a distinction between historical accuracy and historical authenticity, the game has never been historically accurate but it still felt authentic to the various eras of the war it simulated (latewar tanks late in the war, no full autos in early war, etc.) whereas with the merge it often doesn’t feel accurate or authentic to the various eras
@@kooptt see i disagree. Every campaign just turned into a full auto shit show by the end of it. Moscow is just MKBs, Stalingrad MKBs, Normandy/Berlin STGs. Tunisia is the only one safe from it and tbh I think thats only because they didnt have time to put them in. Its the maps that make the campaigns unique, and I dont think thats going away at all because of the BR system
I really like the pseudo historical accuracy of the old campaigns. I do admit they got a bit stale and it was annoying grinding for the same equipment over and over again. I just wish they really can hone down and try and keep the pseudo historical authenticity of enlisted. One of the charms of enlisted was the equipment difference between the campaigns. It's going to be weird to see late war tech in early war maps if that's what ends up happening. We already saw this with the Pacific and eh it just doesn't carry the same sort of feelings I've had towards enlisted. I'm conflicted, from a gameplay perspective this merge is great, it's so much better to grind out a singular tech tree for a faction than multiple. At the same time the reason I always liked enlisted so much, which was the way the campaigns were divided for historical accuracy, will mostly be lost. I mean the squads were unique and part of specific units that took place in the battles of these campaigns, and that sort of separation may get lost. Maybe if the devs did something like, you unlock all the equipment, but you have squad presets for each time period or something like that, and you can only put certain weapons and equipment in a certain set of squads which will automatically put you in an early war map. I don't know, I like this but at the same time I feel weird about it.
I agree with vitality, it's even worse now that almost every soldier is going to have it. My idea for replacement would be a perk that reduces damage taken from explosives by a certain amount. Basically, it'd reduce the range from when explosion would be fatal by about 15% to 20%, and it would reduce non-fatal damage by about 50%. Of course dependent on your soldier's current vitality, a soldier with 2 viltality points remaining will almost always die from any explosion that hits them. It is primarily meant for survivability on an already full or near-full vitality soldier to keep tanks, planes, grenades, etc. from being nearly as effective on the soldier. It would still be a powerful perk, but not completely broken like vitality, as it only affects one type of damage rather than all
New to coming back and I agree the perk system is so much fun. Been mostly playing BR2 and set up full m1 carbine squads. New update of star for max roll soldiers has completed this perk system full circle
I 100% on the perk system, I was already making these decisions going through my soldiers on the test server and their roles, some I ended up just switching perks entirely, the choices and challenges it brings for skilled gameplay is honestly very fun and refreshing.
If i see a firefly in the pacific or a T-34 in Normandy I'll probably go back to HLL or some other game i don't really care about historical accuracy that much but there's a line that shouldn't be crossed like BF V and other parodies of WW2 did
A solution to the many MANY squads could be the following. Let player send them to the rear, just like with individual soldiers and get some silver in return. That way you can clean up the amount of squads. Because let's face it I don't need 30 different riflemen squads for germany. That way it is player choice and as a bonus you can keep the squad skin! Make skins for squads that you can earn through events or grinding. You could even have some unique premium skins that can be purchased with gold! That way you can have a 101st airborne variant of any type of squad. Just apply the skin! You wanna roleplay as a specific unit? Apply the skin of your choice to all the squads you bring! 101st airborne assualter- engineer- riflemen- AT- and Machinegunner squads etc etc! Oh Quadro just joined the game? And he is bringing the entire Volkssturm! Looks like Steiner's counter offensive is working! Just recruit all the germans!
They can add 10 Br brackets and each team can have a unique perk when they start so it can make sense. Or some squads can get some bonuses with specific weapons to make them masters of that weapon. That could work.
the newer gold soldier orders will increase in worth now with this system. Because these soldiers always come max level and max points in the three categories. Making these the go to soldiers, instead of wasting a lot of silver to hopefully get a soldier that is maxed. And i think (and assume) this is their whole idea. Use gold to guarantee maxed
I do hope they add and refine the BR system so high-level players do get a reason to use low tier gear again like u said about whether to choose between the greyhound and the Daimler cuz in current enlisted as a high level I do get tired of having to use max gear so I don't get steamed by other max levels
The solution to the too many squads, is have a reserve to send squads to. Lile we have currently but for entire squads as well as sending them to the rear.
Personally I absolutely can't look over IS-2 in Stalingrad or Tiger 2 in Tunisia because none of that stuff was ever there. The point of a ww2 game for me is to immerse myself un ww2 setti, and those examples are just ridiculous.
Bro its mentioned numerous times that thats not gonna be a thing, that a system is gonna be in place to prevent that, also games are supposed to be fun, want historical accuracy then go play hell let loose
@@kylestewart1556 They mentioned many times that BS like Tiger 2 in Stalingrad will still be possible, just less probable than Berlin. And last ditch Volkssturm weapons like MP-3008 are "low tier" so will appear in early war maps. And yes games are supposed to ve fun, fun is immersion and suspension of disbelief. If you want "pew pew haha pink Abrams on the moon lmao" go play Fortnite.
@@kylestewart1556Also you know it is exactly because of guys like Quadro "who don't see a problem with IS-2 in Stalingrad" (maybe lack of interest in WW2/Eastern Front) and who give feedback like Haha All Good Darkflow, we're exactly gonna have IS-2 in Stalingrad.
They should have bring the “kill more, earn skins” for vehicles like how a certain game with a “W” letter is doing from now on (gold for skins is just ridiculous expensive ngl)
Seeing King Tigers in Moscow is lame but the "soft rule" will eventually be applied, tho idk why Darkflow didn' have it ready for the test server (just like how they didn't have the matchmaking ready, weird that it wasn't ready when it is such an important info that we have yet to know). The uniqueness of the Camapigns is definitely a thing, just because you don't mind doesn't mean others don't either, and not being able to use King Tigers in Moscow won't make anyone quit the game (the inverse may make some leave). Ironic that the Firefly in the Pacific is an issue yet the King Tiger in Moscow isn't because "I can imagine this isn't Moscow". The new Perk System is just a couple steps away from being goated: be cheaper (wtf are those reset costs, and why do you need to unlock low-tier perks to unlock high-tier perks), have soldiers have no rng (they said there wouldn't be rng anymore so why did they keep rng), and be actually balanced (Vitality is still broken and the "best builds" are still extremely streamlined). The squads just need to go, I'm sorry for anyone that grew attached to them. If we are going to put a squad on widely different war theatres (like a low-tier German Assaulter squad being on Moscow and on Tunisia), it doesn't make sense calling them with historical names because it will be pure fiction. Also putting more than 1 of each squad type on your loadout should be straight up banned, we don't want flamethrower spam, paratrooper spam or whatever. Just throw all soldiers into the barracks, remove Campaign-specific squads, and make "generic" squads that the players can bring to different war theatres. And the new economy totally sucks, I've seen the silver earning ratio and, accounting for the fact that the test server has a default x4 silver earning, this game might straight up die since F2Ps and newbies simply won't survive the grind. Prices have gone drastically up yet silver earning is lower than Bronze and Silver order was (playtesters talk about 300-400 silver for a good game, which if translated to Bronze/Silver Orders it amounts to not even a full Silver Weapon Order (and no Bronzes, only that single Silver Weapon Order), which with the new prices is about 3 "good" (read: top score) games to get a single low-tier weapon (you can find posts on the Official Forum making this calculations. Vehicles have skyrocketed in price as well and would take several weeks just to unlock a single tank. This is pure bs. So I think you are completely understating how bad the test server is. The economy in particular might singlehandedly kill the game, because if the grind was "too much" already it will be way worse now as newbies and F2P will see no progress being made at all, months spent just to fully-equip a single squad with just the low-tier weapons and nearly a year to have a functioning squad lineup. If they somehow greenlight the merge without addressing this I will straight up leave the game, even if I've recently bought another year of premium and I'm at level 27 on every Campaign (except the Stalingrad scam).
I agree with your post! I’ll be either getting Hell Let Loose or I’ll just wait a couple years and get back into games when a new game is out. I literally played video games again because of Enlisted. It’s been 2. Years since I’ve consistently played anything and I truly love the game as it currently stands. I’d pay $$$ to be able to keep the campaigns and the system we have now.
Not sure if I want a WarThunder 2.0. I really like the seperate campaigns and I'd absolutely hate to contantly have to fight king tigers in my little M4A2 sherman. Besides, I quit WarThunder exactly because it was not fun with all of that grinding for the cool vechicles. I fear the game may become P2W, or with all of the vechicles that I like but haven't yet reached locked behind a paywall. We'll see how it turns out.
See the problem with the campaigns is when Mac players face low leave players. I abhor playing Normandy because I’m level 10 and facing king tigers is hell when I have just the Stuart. Or worse a panther. Or in Tunisia seeing panzer IVs or Sherman 2s when I am level 12 and 17. I started blocking high level players or leaving outright the game at the beginning. I don’t enjoy getting stomped for 10 minutes. Stalingrad has this issue where if you have max level as soviets you just stomp the enemy team and tanks or if you have the panzer 4 G you can just clean sweep enemy tanks and there’s nothing the low players can do.
@@HeyQuadro Then it's WarThunder. Most people came here to flank the enemy tanks that are already in the campaigns and the get massive killstreaks while at it. Enlisted and WarThunder should be two diffrent games, not just a variation of each other.
The 1st time I played "with ps4/ex1 " as a f2p scum I was able to score a jumbo w a gold ticket, now on ps5 all the gold vehicles are pay walled... sucks balls
It would be nice if you could make a video about merge preparations, sutff to sell or to buy, etc... For example it seems to me that upgrading tanks is beter done before the merge.
They definatly need to add a option to 1. sort squads by type and tier level 2. hide squads that you dont want in the list 3. Have a at least one time option that removes weapons and cosmetics from all squads so it goes in a armory, otherwise you have to search through all the squads to see who has what. It would also be a very good idea if squads that arent in use could be empty, why do i always need to buy soldiers just to fill unused squads? What also need to be done is free some cosmetic items from their campaign, it is pretty silly that still with the new system i can only have the right camo pants in one and the fitting jacket in another campaign, same with helmet covers and other stuff. Let me setup my squads however i like whitin halfway realistic boundaries.
This is a vast improvement but i'll give my 2 cents on the subject of squads. Upon squad selection we don't need the clusterfuck of all the squads of your team in the entire game to come up. It should pull up the current pre-merge menu and show the campaigns at that point. Then let you choose the appropriate units respective of where they fought.
Honestly, as someone with all campaigns on both sides maxed, I'm of mixed opinion on the merge. On the one hand, it greatly simplifies getting specific equipment that you want and on the squads you want it on, as well as the perks. On the other hand, Germany and Russia are just outright going to benefit from the merge more than any of the other factions. Some of the Tier placements of certain weapons makes no sense, and everyone having access to Rocket AT weapons is going to really suck for certain tanks on closer range campaign maps.
The merge was supposed to protect 80% historic accuracy and kill 20% for the merge. As per the forums. As per the devs on the forums. Here we are now, being lied to about the content and the protection of the most enjoyed parts of the game, more of us than new people. More people like the historical version than the make believe game. BFV and CoD vanguard and WW2 (2017) both flopped because of this. Sad!
The history is what makes this game great. It’s the only reason I’ve purchased premium squads, I end up learning all about different unique units across all factions and it gets me all hyped up to get and use that squad or vehicle. In every video about enlisted the comments are always the same with people loving the history in the game. I don’t see too many people calling to get rid of the historical aspect, at best people are indifferent. The only comments where people seem worried is in regards to the history being thrown out the window.
Ye i hope customization gets better, i’d prefer reduced squads, and improved single soldier customization. Like really being able to customize their uniforms and gear so each soldier is unique
The main problem of the perk system is that it should let you reset at least one time free. 20k plat is a LOT. Also all soldiers of the same category should have the same points at max level
My biggest complaints is there’s gonna have to be maps that need to be reworked. I can only speak for Moscow right now but there’s maps that if you spawn a panzerwerfer you can sit right in your spawn and shell continuously onto the objectives and sometimes the other teams spawn
I was honestly disappointed in the preset system originally, I thought I was going to be like War Thunder’s but no. I'm a person who gets bored really easily, like I literally would not be able to play the same squads with the same equipment for more than 4 or 5 matches before switching campaigns or changing squads so having a good preset system is really important for me.
I think theres a simpler way to handle squads that you missed, as a most ftp players will get pissed if they lose their 101st squads and have to pay for a patch to customize their characters, it would also keep all squads in while fixing the issue you have. A category system based on unit divisions. Say there are 5 squads all based on the 101, your assaulters, a sniper squad, what have you. Lump them all into a "101st airborne" category and then you choose the division you're looking for, get a drop down of just those squads and then you're not trying to find a specific unit in a huge mess. Would work for Armor and Aircraft as separate categories well
Keep the perk system but dont merge the campaigns please 🙏 the historical accuracy and the way its layed out right now is literally dope since i know the history. Please dont destroy our fav game dev
I just hope the grind isnt so tough for F2P players. having to spend 20 games just to get a bolt action to unlock the next tier would be horrible. its a problem with pre-merge, and I hope its not post-merge.
with the squads what they really should is just a SORT button so we can do it by tier/country/type and all that, so we don't have to remove it and can still find what you need.
Vitality perk could be replaced with something like decreased damage taken from ordnance, explosives and fire because that would still be quite strong but won’t mean infantry combat becomes boring
squads can literally just be sorted into categories and that'd pretty much fix that. looking through like 20 assault squads vs digging through over 100 random ones lmao
The problem with the Campaigns actually trying to get them to max is you HAVE to buy a 3 day Premium account, 3 days to do it? It's just isn't enought time. Now with the Campaigns fully Merged, doesn't that kinda makes Enlisted like a War Thunder type game? you look at a match of WT and you see the map, two sides, with a mixture of different types of aircraft. I think that the merge of Enlisted probably will see a very painfull drop of players. To me Enlisted only need to make a rework of it's progression system, the tech tree is fine, but the progression system need to be like the one War Thunder has right now, Is Enlisted gonna need a negative bombardment like the one that WT had in May? Enlisted with the Merge is a risky move from Gaijin and DarkFlow.
The progression could've been mended slightly by just giving half your earned points to all other campaigns. Play Normandy, get 800 points. All campaigns get 400 points.
I'd imagine the 300+ squads won't be a problem in the future. Think about it. Veteran players will have those old squads but they won't exist for anyone who starts playing after the merge
You make a good point, Quadro, about the "generic" feel of some of the campaigns, and it's one that not many people have brought up - do the Moscow maps, for example, REALLY seem so geographically specific? Some of them COULD be anywhere in Russia/Ukraine in 1944, IMO. Just imagine you are a German soldier retreating back to Germany and Tigers suddenly are not ahistorical. The French power plant map could be anywhere at any time lol
EXACTLY!! If moscow maps werent specifically in the "Moscow" campaign, no one would have any clue. If you just take a new player and put them on a Moscow map, theyd just think its some random battle in Russia, and a King Tiger or Panther or whatever wont look out of place at all.
I mean lets be honest theres not that many players anyway I don't think some people will stay either so the BR system might not do the job after some time due to lack of players
We need everything to have it’s battle rating in its stats, especially premium squads, weapons, and vehicles. And also I’ve found that some gold order vehicles don’t have a home in any squads unless you had them in a squad.
I played Enlisted when it first was publicly available and since then I have come back maybe once a year to try it out again. I love the concept and the gameplay actually feels really good but what always puts me off from sticking with it is the convoluted progression system. I'm really hoping this update will make things more straightforwards for a newbie like me so I can sink my teeth into the game a little more!
The merge doesn’t make bad players better. The merge doesn’t make the game more unique than ANY OTHER CoD ww2 game or BFV. Literally fucking dumb. BFV literally got flamed up for having female characters fighting nazis with guns that didn’t exist until the end of the war, and yet everyone is letting enlisted do the same thing; except have female soldiers. This is literally a joke. Darkflow said “fuck the game, let it burn”. If DF truly wanted the game to be better for new players, they should have merged the matchmaking and let the campaigns be separate. The Moscow squads and gear would only be used on Moscow, yet when you search for a game you may be on any one of the 6 campaigns but you will be using squads, items and vehicles FOR that said campaign.
Meh- as a former player of WWII Online… which has a ton of historical accuracy, but in a “make your own what-if history” setting, I think it’d make a lot of sense if “WWII Games” became “WWII Era Inspired Games”…. Because generally once you really get down to what “history” is(the recording of events and actions people take) , it’s such an impossible thing to replicate prerecorded events and actions in a gamified setting that you often have to just try to take things for what they are/what they portray and not overthink them too much to even be able to have “historical” games.
@@kylestewart1556 oh thank you! I'm just kinda tired of focusing on bad stuff that my artistic creative side came up and really liked the idea of having a lot of options for character customization :D Honestly, more options you got, the better
Studied this conflict and its geopolitical implications in depth at University and i fell in love with thia game when it was more realistic than it is now. But, i am willing to keep trying it after this update. I never maxed any campaign. Free to play and cant devote tons of time to any game
The seperate campaigns and pseudo historical accuracy is what drew me to this game. This is just a ridiculous mess. I'm done after this is implemented. Enjoy your infantry war thunder.
Here’s a question: Let’s say I have a squad that has 1 soldier equipped with an m2 carbine and the rest of my soldiers have springfields. Is the game going to match me with other players that have m2 carbines because I have 1 equipped or would it match me with the lower tier players bc my squads have majority bolt actions? Or what if I equip all my soviets with tier 1 bolt actions but my tank is an is2. How will the game matchmake you if you want to use a variety of different era weapons at the same time?
I’m done with Enlisted…I’m maxed out on Berlin and Normandy I’ve always preferred the Historical accuracy in the game. It’s what got me into the game in the first place…Seeing “a firefly in the pacific” would totally kill my experience…And I don’t have a PC I can’t play other historically accurate titles except Hell let loose (because I’m on ps5) But even then most of my friends are on PS4 and can’t play hell let loose other than on their Pc (which isn’t cross play). At the end of the day though the unfortunate truth is that gijin just like other companies don’t care for respecting history anymore and it’s all about maximizing profits. That’s why I’ve loved hell let loose it’s by far a better game anyway.
I feel that for the squades their are tabs that show like assulters, snipers, ect. But in order like assulter ones squades show up on top. Thne assulter 2 then 3. When i tested the test game. Had the same problem of looking for squades.
i think with merge going live soldiers should have the same ammount of perk points to avoid rolling left and right but that idea to exchange xp for more perk points is nice too
"Balk" is a term in horseback riding, when a horse refuses to move forward (especially if it has the flat part of its head perpendicular to the ground, threateningly). Pretty sure that's where the expression is derived. I'm not European so idk if it is used there or not but I would imagine so, at least the source (I presume) of the expression isn't foreign. @shadowtrooper262 Eventually we'll be getting a BR type thing that maintain balance between the battles but it's still not going to really help my main concerns with the update. Completely removing campaign choice and ruining the historical fun of the battles really sucks.
Excuse me, but with the new update there will no longer be campaigns with their own dedicated factions? Are you telling me that now I can find a king tiger in Tunisia??
The all appeal to this game for me was the historical accuracy, having the correct weapons and vehicles available in the specific campaigns. Seeing a king tiger, t-34 in Normandy or a panther in Tunisia or Moscow is a massive disappointment… I agree Enlisted need to address you low player count with having 6 different campaigns, but smashing them all together is a lazy way to fix the problem.
I hope we get a new mine detection skill now that we get the perk tree rework
holy shit please yes
Yes this would be great. Mines are so annoying, especially since enemies can just sit on their own mines.
It would be nice if they had a Campaign preference option so you could see your favorite settings more often.
I do hope they add and refine the BR system so high-level players do get a reason to use low tier gear again like u said about whether to choose between the greyhound and the Daimler cuz in current enlisted as a high level I do get tired of having to use max gear so I don't get steamed by other max levels
Like how in warthunder you can go use early war stuff in low tier vs other low tier players and high tier vs other high tier
theres no BR system in the test. From what we know, it should work very similarly to War Thunder
The solution to the too many squads, is have a reserve to send squads to. Lile we have currently but for entire squads as well as sending them to the rear.
I hope they do not remove any of the old historic units after the merge like volkssturm etc
Personally I absolutely can't look over IS-2 in Stalingrad or Tiger 2 in Tunisia because none of that stuff was ever there.
The point of a ww2 game for me is to immerse myself un ww2 setti, and those examples are just ridiculous.
PS couldn't care less about perks because I prefer the shooter part of enlisted rather than mmorpg.
PPS it's not more interesting and unique to buy unit logos/patches
War Thunder 2.0? No, thanks. Looks like i will retire from Enlisted.
Same. Sucks but I’ll be on HLL.
with the merge they game will get more competitive, full auto stg squad, 35% vitality and so on…
Seeing King Tigers in Moscow is lame but the "soft rule" will eventually be applied, tho idk why Darkflow didn' have it ready for the test server (just like how they didn't have the matchmaking ready, weird that it wasn't ready when it is such an important info that we have yet to know).
Yeah I don't want War Thunder. I want Enlisted. If the devs change the game to much people will just go to Hell Let Loose.
You wouldnt have to fight King Tigers in an M4a2, thats why the BR system exists
Coming soon :)
if you bought pacific pass buy and sell assaulters t3
@@HeyQuadroI look forward to it
They definatly need to add a option to
1. sort squads by type and tier level
2. hide squads that you dont want in the list
Sad!
I am not entirely sure, but i heard the matchmaking will look at the weapons you have equipped when choosing on which map you will go.
yup!
Hopefully they really improve the customization once they sort out everything else, especially knowing all the unused cosmetics in the files
What you described for the historical units worked well in Day of Infamy. You could unlock regiments which were basically just skins.
Ye i hope customization gets better, i’d prefer reduced squads, and improved single soldier customization. Like really being able to customize their uniforms and gear so each soldier is unique
Imo needs polishing, and im mad they replaced apcbc with ap on the m4a2 76
It needs aphe like 76mm guns ought to be
holy shit they did? OOF
The main problem of the perk system is that it should let you reset at least one time free. 20k plat is a LOT. Also all soldiers of the same category should have the same points at max level
The perk system should be free to reset.
My biggest complaints is there’s gonna have to be maps that need to be reworked. I can only speak for Moscow right now but there’s maps that if you spawn a panzerwerfer you can sit right in your spawn and shell continuously onto the objectives and sometimes the other teams spawn
Well that's what we're getting get ready for painlisted
I was honestly disappointed in the preset system originally, I thought I was going to be like War Thunder’s but no.
I'm a person who gets bored really easily, like I literally would not be able to play the same squads with the same equipment for more than 4 or 5 matches before switching campaigns or changing squads
so having a good preset system is really important for me.
Easy fix to the messy squad section is a VERY well designed UI that can help people see what’s what and navigate quickly
I just hope the grind isnt so tough for F2P players. having to spend 20 games just to get a bolt action to unlock the next tier would be horrible. its a problem with pre-merge, and I hope its not post-merge.
Time will tell! We'll see. At the absolute least, it will definitely take less time to go from low to high tier.
Be glad you're going to start the game with most of the content unlocked I guess, assuming you have at least one campaign mostly researched
with the squads what they really should is just a SORT button so we can do it by tier/country/type and all that, so we don't have to remove it and can still find what you need.
I'm very worried about balance. Fingers crossed they get it right
Vitality perk could be replaced with something like decreased damage taken from ordnance, explosives and fire because that would still be quite strong but won’t mean infantry combat becomes boring
Im holding my breath but man they could either make this game awesome or completely fuck it up. Never know with Darkflow and its master the Snail.
I have a qn, if you unlock things in the test server, will you keep the things you unlock in the server??
i doubt it
squads can literally just be sorted into categories and that'd pretty much fix that. looking through like 20 assault squads vs digging through over 100 random ones lmao
Veteran players will have those old squads but they won't exist for anyone who starts playing after the merge
yeah for sure. Id rather they just remove a lot of those old squads
@@HeyQuadrono that would be bad because if they have a unique uniform for example…. Don’t give them anymore bad ideas pls
If they simply add a sort by type to the squads i dont mind the amount. But right now its chaos.
I mean lets be honest theres not that many players anyway I don't think some people will stay either so the BR system might not do the job after some time due to lack of players
100% agree that +35% health thing should be removed. I Just can't see how it can be balanced out.
We need everything to have it’s battle rating in its stats, especially premium squads, weapons, and vehicles. And also I’ve found that some gold order vehicles don’t have a home in any squads unless you had them in a squad.
i wasnt aware that the br rating wasnt in place when i joined, i tried to downtier desperately to escape the panthers, but obviously it didnt work
with a system like this you could also add maps from some smaller battles like the battle of the bulge or something
Agreeed!!!!!
So quadro tell me Please, How much Time i got left to research King Tiger before the merge update comes in?
idk not long. But your progress should transfer so its not a big deal
They need to add option too chose nationality of soldiers, I want nice fully italian squads
Reducing the number of existing squads and giving huge variety to character customization is such an amazing idea.
100% agree and i appreciate ya having something positive to say! :) nice seeing something genuine amongst all the salts here

The seperate campaigns and pseudo historical accuracy is what drew me to this game. This is just a ridiculous mess. I'm done after this is implemented. Enjoy your infantry war thunder.
Here’s a question:
Let’s say I have a squad that has 1 soldier equipped with an m2 carbine and the rest of my soldiers have springfields.
As far as we know, it uses your HIGHEST equipped weapon. So in your example, youd queue against other people who have similar gear to the M2 Carbine
Please keep enlisted the way it is 🙏
Well it lasted while it can. In the end this game will just be a generic WW2 shooter. Loved historical accuracy of this game.
i wish they'd buff the regeneration perk as if they did I'd take that over vitality especially for pilots and tankers so I can take more repair kits
Exactly, i’m going to hate to see the Russians or the Japanese on D-Day😢
To add to the perks system, I think it would be cool if they added a way to debuff certain stats so you could improve others.
The baseball term you are thinking of (I believe) is "bunt"
balk is a baseball term as well. Its when the pitcher makes an illegal motion on the mound meant to trick the runners
@littlejoe2615 Ah, okay.Yeah, I'm American but not much into sports.
If they want to keep squads, I haven't seen a "too much" situation that can't be beat by a search bar and sufficient filters.
@quadro does playing at higher tiers give you more exp and silver similar to war thunder?
Man the part I liked the most about Enlisted was the historical feeling the game had. I dont think the merge is better
so you like when one team have 10 stuarts and second team 10 tigers?
True
@@Volpeusz with the merge it will be worse, no American tank in game comes close to match up with a Tiger 2. And also I never seen a game where there only Stuart's VS Tiger.
@@east4246 then you play not enough, ive seen multiple, i also have screen where im the only marshall in team full of new players vs german team with 9 marshalls. and dont be like ,,no american tank can be match up to tiger 2. i agree that americans currently have no tank that is as good as tiger 2. but if you use your brain you can get tiger 2 destroyed with m4a2 76, and i think its even easier to do this than to destroy tiger 2 with t 34 85 and i destroyed few tiger 2's in my t 34. but difference is that in current state one team can be new players, piats, bazookas, stuarts or m4 with 75. and in new system ofc there will be tiger 2 vs weaker m4a2 76 but shermans have stab, co close range better than tiger, and thats high tier so players have many hours in and use their brains, and there is more, everyone have best rocket launcher, experience in flying, experience where to hit their targets, in current normandy i can stay in tiger 1 next to point, have 220 kills, 14 tanks destroyed and not die a single time because all i see are stuarts, m8 and bad m4, and enemies are lower tier so they cant pen me with piats or bazooka. so dont tell me that merge will be worse, there will be balancing issues of course but currently balance is just rng based on playercount in each side of campaing
StG in Moscow. I already hate the new system.
meanwhile: mkb42
@@HeyQuadro The battle of Moscow took place from 30th September 1941 - 20th April 1942
The Maschinenkarabiner 42 (mkb42) was designed from 1940-1941 and was put in to production in 1942
The Sturmgewehr 44 (StG 44) was in production from 1944-1945. 3 years after the battle of Moscow.
For me personally, this is a problem because although the mkb42 did not see that great of a production run (only about 200 were made) the gun existed back then, the StG 44 just didn’t. That is why I am troubled with this.
Re: number of squads
Maybe a folder system by type of squads so your rifle squads, mG squads, etc. are all together rather than a long list of rando squads.
I am playing on Xbox, and all I seem to get offered are random 3 perks and the final vitality perk is always grayed out as I'm 1 point short. I gave up and tried to select the perk the game recommended, and it still won't give me them.
Seeing the Tiger variants in Moscow bring a tear to the eyes of all the IS-2 that also happen to be there.
Random matches with random campaigns that I HAVEN'T MAX OUT always make me infuriated to the point I wanna uninstall the game. They need to bring back campaign selections and obviously, max out the first campaign I want before the next campaign.
As a new player I just got into this game cause It looks fun but its not like a sweat like cod I don't mind the grind it might suck just the matchmaking but that's just me I always go against really good players with stuff I haven't unlocked yet, but anyways like you said the squads or company's shouldn't matter people like the squads But honestly just make your own squads and name them whatever you want like your own emblem or just names for the soldiers at the end of the day we are playing a game. The Campaigns merging in not sure hopefully I don't see a T 34 in the Pacific or Sherman's in Moscow keep the stuff to its own factions don't care if I see a tiger somewhere in the timeline doesn't match its a tank and probably gonna die that's it. Hopefully when the update comes out they tune some stuff so that way it isn't unfair for new players because I like this game and don't wanna drop it when I just dipped my toes into this game.
I honestly think that the merge Is a bad idea but Need darkflow Need more mounts polishing It before releasing aside from that i belive Is this can be a great change
Also please Darkflow add the Pershing and the Super Pershing as counterparts of the Tiger 2P and Tiger 2H respeclevly
There’s only one problem for the merge for me. I only grind one campaign (Normandy) so now my tech tree is scattered and all over the place. Also their are guns that too me are the same e.g the kar98 stuff. Other than that it’s good
The only people cheering the merge in its current state are those who are not dedicated to the game.
Speak for yourself I've got all campaigns complete and want it
Or people that stick to campaigns like tunisa allies and Berlin axis don't want it because they actually have to play against good players and I say this as a player who most campaigns complete
@@amailman3705 I play a ton of Normandy Allies and Moscow Allies it was rough for some months but a simple matchmaking system would fix the games issue.
I thought the merge would benefit the progression of the game while maintaining the historical accuracy of the game but that doesn't seem to be the case...
Are you telling me that now I can find a king tiger in Tunisia??
when this update comes out i might start playing the game again. really didnt vibe with progress being split between all these theaters
for me it ruins the immersion which enlisted was trying to get so this change sucks
PS, before someone says “it’s only because your a low level” I maxed out all the campaigns, but I only use weapons and such which were used by whichever nation I’m playing at that period of the war.
the need to sort the squads by campaigns....because its way to many when its one tree
enlisted then: progress to win. enlisted now: "wait did you want to gain an advantage?"
I believe that one research tree is great, i wish there where diffrent campains but they can stay or go, i love the game either way
just use 101st airbone into outfit like more accurate with patch like that
Me a console brother unable to try the merge…oh well I have spider-man 2 at the moment.
The new perk system reminds me of skill trees in borderlands2
if you don't have a premium account maxing out a campaign takes ages so hopefully the progression is a little bit shorter
Does anyone know our progress on this server will carry to the dev server? I thought I saw something regarded to opposite to that statement somewhere.
they should implement some sorting functions
