@@BoleDaPole Nah, that's not the reason. They sound like mopeds because, really, the engines are basically just a shrunk down moped engine. They're itty bitty two stroke engines.
First off, amazing. Now, the Know It All speaks. I used to run 1/10 NASCAR style carpet oval in the '90's, so there's my credentials. I think a lot of these teams could consider backing down the severity of their steering input. They seem too responsive, twitchy and therefore, sketchy. Dialling it back to full lock being the arc of the corner plus whatever percentage for correction each driver feels they need. Again, amazing. wish I had such enthusiasm in my area.
To be honest, the speeds are so "not to scale" that you could get motion sickness really easily. Plus the perspective is so much different. Imagine trying to drive around an F1 course not at 150 mph the f1 cars travel at but 500 mph? Check out Kevin Talbot's channel, he's tested some banggood specials with FPV and goggles and it's more difficult than you might think.
@joeeccles985 Also forgot to mention that we will, and I quote, we WILL find a way to control the rc cars with IRACING setups, and gather some spotters, that way crashes are not as much
@@mo56197 interesting, I don't know much about rc cars. The track looks about the same size as a quarter midget oval. I suppose that's probably because its for quarter scale cars
@@pharronrhodes3792 I actually raced these cars until I gained my senses and realize how much money I was wasting. I put that money back into activities for myself and my family. Much more rewarding.
And- THATS, why they call it a hobby.. If you don't have the money to spare, then don't do it. To make it a serious sport, is not wise..unless you have sponsors, unlimited checkbook, ETC.
I have never seen such crap RC racing as this , I guess it's for the older guys who are slightly past it ? I'm guessing they take it very seriously too . Hilarious
I like how they sound like tiny nascar engines when idle but when they move, they sound like mopeds.
Yea well if you was a 40 foot giant then an actual nascar would sound like a moped too

More cautions than a NASCAR race, how wonderful!
I wonder what kind of awesome footage you'll get if you can put a GoPro inside one of those cars. 📹🏎️
Man that looks like a blast!
Imagine you put a camera on the hood and you used an IRACING set up to control the car.
Came here to say the same idea. They actually make first person view equipment for RC. Would be so fun.
THAT WOULD BE SO SICK

Would be nice
That would be AWESOME
This needs to make a comeback🔥😍
This is wicked nice❤🔥
That is awesome! . Way better than electric going around . There is nothen wrong with electric .
Now what's left is to build a rc superspeedway, get 40 rc cars, make the race 200 laps, and see what happens
With the frequency of cautions and red flags they would never finish 200 laps.

awesome vid!!!!!!!
Is this a quarter midget track, or something made specifically for rc cars?
Specifically for rc

They need like a VR goggles ans make these cars pov. This way they can be one with the track and it will reduce wrecks.
i like how to staff member pets the car when he sets it down... like its a little doggy
I would pay 50$ to watch this
This is so cool, thanks for posting. I build 1/24 scale models but this makes me want to try it.
3 wide thru a turn never ends well!
These would be fun as F🥳😎😎😎😎😎😎🇺🇸merica
Cool race are the cars custom built if so that’s awesome
I believe so, but there are also a few people who manufacture them on a larger scale
What are the bodies on these made of?
I think lexan
Sausage skins
It’s lexan they aren’t cheap lol!
Where is this?
Where can somewhere get bodies for those cars. Thanks
Not sure, try ebay or Google and see what comes up
This reminds me if Bristol and martinsville were mashed together and shrunk down to rc car size
Lol that's right it does look a bit like that
i am ten years old and father recently died now i have a giant 1/4 scale rc car does anyone know where to get tires for this monster
Chainsaw Engines?
Weedwacker engine

sounds like a bunch of sprint 2 cycle karts..
Wouldn’t mind a go at that!!
That 29 took a big hit and now has a nose job

1/4 scale what ...not even
This is 1/5 scale not 1/4 scale
