Your grandfather sounds like my spirit animal!😂 I have a personal planet keg party in Taurus and hope to become a tree-farming, bee-keeping, pumpkin patch person when I get old as well...lol
Omg this is perfect lmao... from now on I will be referring to all Taurus stelliums as keg parties.
Stale popcorn story: in about 1996, I was very depressed, living alone in a little apartment. I was pretty overweight, too. One night, my daughter dropped in while she was visiting friends in the area. One of them worked at a movie theater, and had brought a huge plastic bag with all the leftover popcorn.
When they left, they left me the popcorn.
I ate nothing else for three weeks, at which time, I had to go out and buy new pants and a new belt, as I had dropped from a 46 waist to 34.
That broke my depression 😁
I love these readings you've been doing from Liz Greene's book. Because of your reading her book, I went and purchased it. I'm super passionate about Greek Mythology, and I think she brilliantly connects it.
Fascinating synchronicity... I just heard you use the word OX for Taurus. Well I was also born in the year of the OX... as well as I have my Mars in Taurus. Accept my Mars is retrograde however I resonate with the pattern of struggles like stagnation vs productivity, indulgence vs. moderation. I feel that concept of getting lost or trying not to get lost in the labyrinth, sometimes its hard to find the balance for me. Also fascinating... the more design work I can do in a day or the more productive I am in a day the less attractive the design tends to be. That seems to fit what you say. Beauty of design/art vs how much of it you can churn out in a day makes the quality of the design less attractive, sometimes OR I am super productive for days on end and then I forget to shower LOL 🤣🤪 not that I am rolling in the mud because I am not. 😂 TMI perhaps LOL 😂🤣😅 Anyway thank you YES dancing between two dualities. Very True!
Whew, this was a tough one to sit through.
Healthytown, U.S.A. choo-choooooo! Popcorn is healthy on day 1, and a virtue on day2.
Thx, Teach!
I've got this and her Saturn book. But I'm so hoping you eventually just read them both to us 😆 audiobooks for the win since bubs were born. But you and Christoph Renstrom reading and telling us stories is the absolute best!!! Thank you!!!
Agreed on the guilty pleasure of day old popcorn 😁
Wow thanks Adam. I don't have any natal planets in Taurus, but my Sixth House is Taurus.... you just really broke that down and made a whole bunch of sense out of that for me. Especially cause I have transiting Jupiter and Uranus moving through that area right now.
Lots of shaking things up and philosophy adjustments in Sixth House things.
Thanks for shedding light on Taurus, especially the Minotaur part. With Jupiter in Taurus in the 10th conjunct MC and trine Venus in the 6th, the reality of my lifelong maneuvering between indulgence and moderation has been highlighted during this eclipse cycle (reinforced by the transits of Uranus and Jupiter!).
Wooly bully. This Taurus enjoyed these stories
This was very inspiring. I find something similar in the symbolism of Capricorn. Pan and the goat, the bull and the Minotaur. Capricorn also has it’s beastie side and is strongly connected to the sensual world.
Thank you for this. This was very helpful. It made things make sense. I have been having fits of rage ( program running) and been going back and forth between these two personas you are talking about. As a Taurus rising this last year and a half has been hell on my self and relationships. I’m definitely not the same person I was when this cycle started.
Awesome reading man. This is one of my favorite books as well
The eclipses in Taurus have fallen in my 11th house.
It has all been about friends for me. Clarifying what I want, the people who bring me joy.
This final Lunar Eclipse is happening in a very tight conjunction to my natal Venus in Taurus so it will be interesting to witness what comes.
Thank you, Adam. I loved this episode, and I really enjoy being read to!
I was really captivated by your story of your grandfather❤
Yes, totally relate as a Taurus rising. The productive-indulgent duality can be exhausting at times!
I for one, absolutely love this story time. Thanks Adam!
Libra asc tarus moon. I adore men who build things and love nature
Taurus rising, I relate to the passion for food, good wine hard work and then a lot of sleep. Thank you!
Your stories truly help bring astrology to life for me. The reading followed by your commentary gave me some things to think about. As a Libra Sun and Taurus rising & SN, I have a lot of Venus influence. It was only in recent months that I've learned how much my love for food -- sweets in particular -- has been causing a number of health issues. I'm in a not-so-fun process of trying to detoxify and get back on the healthy train, as you said.
Awesome sermon of the stars! I’ve been working on snapping my kitten out of that instinctual drive to go chase squirrels, so interesting timing for these aspects to be present.
Also, I have to say as someone w 5 planets + the lot of fortune in Libra, that Liz Green libra segment was one I truly resonated with. I appreciate you sharing, Adam. Thank you, as always!
The swing back and forth between indulgence and industriousness describes me perfectly. I have Mars in late Taurus in trine to Sun in Virgo and out of sign square to Pluto in early Virgo. I knew I could be incredibly lazy at times and work my tail off just as frequently.
3’ Taurus Sun & 26’ Taurus Venus here.
This resonated 100%
Ugh love love love your interpretations and reading. Liz is amazing and deserves her street cred. Lol but honestly yes. Your awesome to watch enjoy all your work thank you❤
As a Venus in Taurus native, I appreciated this!
Great stories of your grandfather too, nice to hear …..grappling with the Bull and the Minotaur ……
Thank you very much for reading from this book! It’s exactly what I have been looking for.
Most enlightening bit of info Ive ever heard on Taurus (rising, venus w my sun in cap 9th). Eclipses have felt like inner fight almost 2 yrs (not to mention challenges to opp node relationship house w natal saturn) Shopping addiction popping up for 1st time, grappling w becoming an "artist" and unsure footing that entails, struggling w chronic illness while realizing how much I shut down/became disembodied from pain and before that overwhelming physical sensations and desires. Just a whole wild ride that this talk has helped me to integrate. Thanks as always❤ #grabbed (and begrudgingly thankful😂)
WHAT!!!?? This is the 1st thing I saw online today; extra cool since getting out of Demetras final class 45 seconds ago!!
Youre so cool, Adam!!
I luvYa, bro!💫
NN Taurean - I just experienced a pure year of garden and bees and cooking and Mother Earth goddess combined with wine and baking. Gym membership started yesterday. My Grampy was a Taurean potato farmer and had a wood lot (600 acres) where he cut one load of wood for the mill each week. He smelled of earth and wood chips. But I do think he wore Old Spice for the women at the grocery store 🥰
Wow! Adam, that was a great deep dive into Taurus. I really get it now :-) your grandfather is now a mythical archetype in my life. Thank you for sharing his story.! I can relate personally with a Taurus Jupiter in the 10th.
This talk is absolutely amazing. My husband has a stellium in Taurus in the 2H. Sun, Mercury & Venus. I have Jupiter and Venus in Taurus in the 12H. There is definitely a struggle between indulgence and moderation. Productivity and rest. I, for one, understand losing oneself in all things grandeur. If not for Saturn in Cap making and applying trine to Jupiter, I might not be able to reign that in so easily 😅
This talk reminded me of the recent documentary on Netflix ‘Beckham’. David Beckham has a stellium in Taurus. Beekeeping hobby, cooking, luxurious taste
I personal appreciate all the angles you take/perspectives you share, inc personal antidotes. I have Taurus rising, but my Venus is in Cap (along w moon, merc, jup), so I find myself restricting food w/out realizing it, esp when stressed. And to get healthy, I have to remind myself to eat more. It’s that moderation piece! Interesting.
You just described my beautiful son 🙏🏽 Taurus sun and moon and Aquarius rising. 🌸🦋✨
Thank you Adam for sharing your Taurean reading of Liz Greene's sometimes cold and detached writing . It's scary but fascinating how energetic signatures of Taurus are passed down generations. My father was a Taurus, and after supporting his whole family in the wake of WWII, he became diabetic. Before passing away from diabetes, he shared with me how much he regretted indulging in sweets during tough times of his youth. With midheaven and north node in Taurus, I had to go through the same food challenges in my turn. After decades of addiction to chocolate and fine pastries I became prediabetic myself a few years ago. My daughter has also inherited my sweet tooth with her midheaven being conjunct my Taurus north node. She suffers from seizures triggered by sugar. It's only recently that I became aware of this family lineage and made a point of taming the wild bull and its lust for sweets. My daughter and I are now starting a fasting routine to regenerate and clean up our metabolism and our taste buds from the excesses of our Taurean life style. Thanks for validating my intuition.
Wondering: Is that a sculpture of Hermes/Mercury in your room? As a child I loved the golden Hermes on the old castle in Stuttgart. It had little wings at his heels.
Love your videos!
Interesting ☀️ I can see some of the described patterns in Taurus friends. It is good to understand it 👍 Thank you ✨
Thank you so much for this! I can relate to this talk on so many levels... my Taurus moon recognizes that dichotomy between productivity and losing oneself in the lushness of opulence. The connection between Hephaestus and Hera and the 'mother wound' and how that relates to the Taurian archetype is very interesting as well... speaks to my natal Taurus moon square to Mars... The way you describe your grandfather also fits my dad to a 'T'... he's a Taurus rising but with a lot of Mercurial flair thanks to his Gemini Sun.
Day old popcorn is awesome!
haha, I've been making popcorn on the stove lately and enjoying the leftovers in the morning. 🙃
I loved reading hour Adam. Mythology and astrology are excellent bedfellows! My husband is a Taurus, and I enjoy seeing how it plays out in daily life! I look forward to your humor and stories. They make me laugh out loud!
Thank you. I've been trying to understand how my north node Taurus has been colored by its conjunction to my natal black moon Lillith, and yes, I've had to come to terms with my over indulgence in fine things, to dependence or even addiction. Luckily, my mars conjunct Venus Virgo 6th house boot camps my arse back into line. This really resonated with me, because I always thought I was supposed to enjoy the nice things in life (Taurus) in response to traumas (Scorpio), but not if it lets the demons (minotaur) take over. More light a tight rope for me I feel!
You’ve given me such meaningful insight into Taurus placements over the years, but this dichotomy is really useful (I’ve got the moon and Mercury conjoined with my MC + Mars 6 degrees away). The cyclical nature and pendulous swinging between indulgence and conservative meting out of resources are so felt and easy to point to in my life-in all the ways you’ve described (money, food, generosity, discipline generally). My Taurus rising sweetie and I were just joking about how we’re wearing our Christmas padding a little early this year 🤶🏻 🎅🏼.
Thank you Adam. The Greeks would say; Hy FES tos. I hope you are not offended by my struggle with myself and others over my fussy moon in Virgo. 🙃
Hi, Hilda! 🐿️
30:35 from a mom perspective I can relate with the 2° ♉️ ☀️ and the hair. 😂 I would have bun it up rather than look pretty when my children were younger. Thank You
I LOVE a bowl of left-out popcorn overnight, you are not alone! (I also enjoyed this video, but I really wanted to give you that feedback)
My mom who is a Taurus stellium loves left out popcorn thats wild you mentioned that
This makes me think about the dichotomy of a finished beautiful piece of art and all the elbow grease that went into it or “the artist” and all the hard work and ugly efforts that came before, the path of learning and fumbling and only developing such a gift due to all the time spent being vulnerable and displaying less beautiful art, willingness to be ackward and ugly and to appear less skilled
progressed taurus in midheaven. . i wonder what this means; can't wait to find out. My favorite person was/is my Taurean grandmother, Rosena..liternally "Rosie the Riveter" among so many other things, accomplishments. The last of the matriarchs in her line. Perhaps. Well never say never!
Thank you
Taurus moon. All the above is my deeper nature...i loose my hair brush constantly and snack like a pro. I can fall in love with great gourmet food. Master costume designer and fan dancer ...an asexual courtisan for 25+ years.
😮SEEN👀
Oh, hello Magic Mirror. Reflecting Me and my shit, I see. How appropriate. Lol
Wow. Thanks so much. That was illuminating and honestly just personally funny for me to hear.
Sun Moon Mercury Mars (& Chiron) in Taurus. I groc this.
❤😂popcorn popped on stove, olive oil, sea salt❤day old..put in tomato soup as crackers
I’m dying…😂😂 Healthytown USA. I have a Saggie daughter who I always say is the Mayor of Flake City!!
I live with Bulls and cows 😂 I can say the Bulls are the sweetest! But one should also be aware or don’t turn your back on them.
I have a sister-in -law like that😱🐂🐂🐂
I have an obsession with moss. I love it, i want it to be everywhere. So i had my headphones on, pulling my wagon through the woods looking for moss that i could collect in solid pieces. My mind wanders all over the place and connects things like sorting through a lifetime or more of puzzle pieces that I turn around looking for fittings kinda like that jewel you turn. There's been a pattern of insincere men focused on me for some gain that i don't understand, but it involves them sacrificing something within me or causing damage, or dimming my fire and making me smaller and easier to control. Anchors and chains, etc. and the last 15 to 20 years, they have been closet cases. Im not anti gay, im anti wasting 2 decades of my life while leaving my hanging in uncertainty, so they can have a beard. But it's more than that
The power is from the female. The crown is energetic, they annoint themselves with something of her and she's buried underneath some official building. New queen in town vibes. These nations are divided and warring, meanwhile stacked within each other like a Russian nesting doll. The ukrainbow and Russia, at this point cry me a river was on and im jamming JT like i do, but something else makes me hear crimea crimea , balls Deep in moss, like im the moss cow, the red heffer, and sacrifice to the point of new abnormal, it's just acclimation now. The other side is Palestine and Israel, both occupying and policing from the inside and they really want cypress. That red heffer for sacrifice specifically bred and modified to transfer the power of things very very old and not obviously connected. Plus buffalo bill, cowbird brood parasite caregiver slavery. Have i mentioned that i hate it here?
Bull/minotaur, I love that! Yep, grandaddy was a Taurus. An alcoholic but a provider for his family. He (mostly) kept the main thing the main thing, but he kept the main ($$$$$) thing the mainest thing, so oodles of doodles of noodles worth of forgiveness to him 😆 My progressed moon in taurus has just been making me crave dense heavy things I never craved before, like red wine (I don’t even like alcohol) and red meat (am I going to get into grilling like Taurus David Beckham??? Hm!). Ty for story time 🤓🍿📚✨
How can a libra be found listening without a measure of their own to weigh what falls and what hangs. Madyokes

Adam is there any way to lessen the number of ads that pop up? it used to be one or two, but I got 7 ads and it's hard to listen with all the interruptions blasting
nothing has changed on our end to increase the number of ads...I use RUclips premium for all my own private watching of shows I like because it removes ads!
